I don't usually order iced coffees or teas, but the Blueberry Cloud Matcha sounded too interesting to pass up. It came out beautifully layered, with whipped foam on top, matcha in the middle, and blueberry syrup at the bottom. I noticed some people using straws, but I drank it without one, and it was delicious. The foam blended into everything perfectly while still keeping those pretty layers. My bowl came out soon after and was just as nicely presented. I especially loved the whipped sweet potato, which was such delicate touch. The bowl was also very filling, with lots of fresh, hearty ingredients, so I couldn't quite finish it--but it was satisfying and delicious. I visited late in the afternoon, around 3pm on a sunny Friday, and the cafe was still packed. There was plenty of seating, including cozy corners and brighter areas near the windows. Overall, it felt peaceful, relaxed, and very much like a community hub. If you're visiting Salem and looking for a vegan-friendly spot, this is definitely worth checking out.

The combination didn't really work, and I wasn't a fan of the sauce being on the bottom instead of on the side.The arancini was better, but still odd. It was served over some kind of Alfredo sauce, which again felt unnecessary. It seems like this place really likes putting sauce on the bottom of dishes, and it didn't enhance the food. The real highlight of the night was the drinks. We both ordered espresso martinis, and they were honestly the best espresso martinis I've ever had. There were several other cocktails that looked great as well, so we'll definitely be back to try more drinks. Overall, the food was underwhelming and didn't meet my expectations. I wouldn't come back for the food, as their takes on classic dishes just didn't work for me. What I found was an oasis of superb coffee, remarkable food, great service, and a fine dining experience (even for someone just off a motorcycle.) My large Cappuccino was hot, tasty, and seemingly bottomless. Expertly crafted and delivered. My Egg White Green Omelet was unlike any other omelet I have consumed. Loaded with vegetables and just enough cheese, it was warm throughout and (like my coffee) expertly crafted. I noticed a steady stream of customers coming in for drinks and breakfast items. I can see why. My meal was very modestly priced given the quality, quantity, preparation, and service. There was enjoyable music playing, and the dining space (and restroom) is very tastefully decorated and spotless.
