Excellent food, but very pricy! I got 2 oven roasted chickens with 1/2 tray of platano maduros for $83. But it was great, everyone enjoyed it. I had called ahead to have it ready by a certain time. I called back to change the time to an hour earlier, but I guess it wasn't communicated to the kitchen because there was a bit of bickering within the staff. Not a huge problem for me, just had to wait an extra 10 mins there. They really made sure that my order was correct and as perfect as can be. Highly recommend! read more

I've had Pollo Royal bookmarked for a while. Finally got around to giving it a try. I placed an order online for a three piece chicken dinner with two sides. Opted for sweet plantains and cabbage salad. Even though I ordered through the Yelp app (I think I did), the order was processed by Grub Hub. Said about 30-45 minutes. Parking was plentiful on Washington Street and my order was ready when I got there. They got my order exactly right with a piece or two extra--probably because the pieces were fairly small. Two side sauces--sour cream and a spicy light green sauce that was fantastic. All in all, it was fantastic. Will definitely order again! read more

By far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The last few times I've ordered they always send me the wrong order. Every time I call and all they say is "the person who took your order messed up sorry." I don't k is why this place doesn't have better reviews. I got a chicken burrito and the enchiladas. Both were delicious. My only gripe was that there were a few weird chicken pieces (tendons?) and the salsa was SO spicy and weirdly sweet. It's a lot of food for the price and the delivery was pretty quick. Good chicken, I have tried both the rotisserie and the fried chicken from this location. The fried chicken is crisp on the outside and moist as you bite into it. The crust is flavorful. Not as good as KFC's original recipe but a step above the chicken from Crown just up the street. The rotisserie chicken has a good latin flavor similar to what you can find at El Tipico and other latin establishments in the area. read more

I've been here a handful of times and so far I enjoy the food all of the times I have visited. The customer service is absolutely horrible I've had 3 different cashiers and all have not been friendly some even rude. Last time I went we placed an order to eat there but decided that we were gonna take it home to only go home and find out we were missing a plate we ordered and paid for. We call back to inform and she tells us they will deliver it right away to only take about 50 minutes for one plate they made a mistake of forgetting and wen the delivery person gets here she doesn't say a word just hands me the food and goes. I truly enjoy the food such as the Caesar salad and grilled chicken but I truly think I will stop going here for the negative behavior I receive while coming here. read more

It's a family owned place that has authentic Mexican recipe. It's a small place with a fairly small menu but everything on the menu is very tasty and had a soul to it.
