The parking could use some better signage. The food service went smoothly. Utilizing two lines is great. They squeezed far too many people in the room. Very claustrophobic. The bridal party table is located in front of the bathrooms. Rather awkward location. The sound system is AWFUL. If you want people to listen to you, they need to be able to hear you. The EMCEE needs to reduce the amount of corny jokes. We are here for the bride and groom, not you...sorry, not sorry. The plastic bags on the lights on the patio are super tacky. The use of real linens is very nice but I wish that had included linen napkins too (perhaps a client choice?)

We didnt book or pay for our room, so I am clueless there. I would guess somewhere around $100 to $110 a night? Our room was great - huge king bed, jacuzzi tub, balcony access - my only thing is there isn't a shower. It wasn't the end of the world since our family was in the next room and we could sneak over there, but it wouldn't be ideal to be in that room for a weekend if you didn't know the neighbors. The breakfast spread was lovely - pastries, muffins, waffles, cereal, yogurt, granola bars, coffee, orange juice, apple juice - we definitely didn't leave hungry. My complaint about it is (of course) the floors and stairs are a bit squeaky. Probably fine if no one is above you or people aren't getting in late, but we had just laid down to go to bed and guests arrived for the room right above us. The property was lovely and the staff went above and beyond. We were there for the entire wedding - rehersal, wedding, reception - and had no issues.

The Inn has lots of lavender planted on the grounds that smells wonderful in the morning. Yes, the inn is clean and bright and beautiful and well-maintained, and the pool area is high-end resort quality. But...two things that have changed: One - at checkout, there's a girl just sitting in the office yelling out "Just leave the key on the counter!" No "how was your stay? we hope to see you again"...no personal touch like Dennis and David had. I had an issue to relay to her and she wouldn't even stand up and come out to speak face-to-face...just sat behind the desk hollering out. [EDITED: You can't see her, either; just the end of her left elbow as she just sat at the computer.] And guys, here's what we wanted to discuss: We've had housekeeping issues at both of our visits. Once, we came back to our room in the evening to discover the room had not been touched. Housekeeper had told the owner "they're still in the room so I'm leaving ." She didn't knock on the door. just heard us talking and left. On our next visit, housekeeping didn't change out dirty glasses and coffee cups. Is this a small thing? Maybe...but this is a pretty high end resort...housekeeping and hospitality (the personal touch) need to kick it up a notch.

From the moment you step through the door, you are enveloped in warmth, hospitality, and the undeniable charm of this quaint, family-owned inn. The highlight of this amazing experience was, without a doubt, the innkeeper. Sonya is the epitome of southern hospitality--sweet, genuine, and truly caring. She made us feel like we were visiting family rather than simply checking into a B&B. Now, let me talk about the food--if you love home-cooked meals that taste like they were made with love and passed down through generations, then you're in for an absolute treat. The breakfast at The Chicken Coop Bed 'n Breakfast was nothing short of spectacular. Every morning, we were greeted with a delicious spread that transported me straight back to my grandmother's kitchen. Freshly baked biscuits, eggs made to order, sausage gravy, homemade jam, and perfectly brewed coffee--each bite was a nostalgic experience, reminding me of all the best parts of family gatherings around the table. It's the kind of food that fills you up not only physically but emotionally, too--comforting and full of soul. The rooms are just as charming as the innkeeper herself, tastefully decorated with a cozy, rustic feel that makes you feel like you've stepped into a warm, peaceful retreat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring Crawford and its scenic surroundings. In addition, beer, wine, and bottled still and sparkling waters are available all day, along with some crunchy packaged snacks in the afternoon. The location is in the Five Points area, which has many excellent restaurants within walking distance. We also noticed that Milledge Ave. is a popular jogging route for students in the morning. Not into jogging? A pleasant walk among the shade trees is a lovely diversion along the route as well. Parking is adjacent to the building and included. Access to the rooms and building are through an app which is easy to use. We felt like personal guests of the owners, and they ensured that we were satisfied with everything from start to finish.
