Site 3 was very pretty, clean, and peaceful. The only reason I knocked off a star was because of the lack of privacy in the bathhouses. While there are curtains for the actual shower stalls, there is nothing for the changing area, nor any way to lock the bathroom door. I had to go back in to the wet shower stall to finish changing both nights due to someone walking in as I do not have the confidence to stand there unclothed in front of people. Regardless, my dogs and I loved the campground itself and we will be back! We will just be prepared next time.

Even inside of our RV with the AC's on we could hear (and feel) the best of the loud music. The RV sites were fairly level and roomy. Our rig is 43' and we fit just fine. The water pressure was a bit low most of the days we stayed there. It's a nice park to relax or go fishing. I am a wildlife photographer so I spent my time down by the lake. I saw a variety of birds and the sunsets were beautiful. I would return to this park as a base camp. There's not much to do here but it was nice to be able to sit by the water and relax.

The Mountain views were breathtaking as we watched the Sunrise while relaxing in the Hot tub. It was in the perfect location, for peace and relaxation, as well as within minutes from everything you could imagine to do in Town. I recommend that visitors plan to stay at least five days, to be able to enjoy everything that Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg has to offer. This cabin is perfect for small family reunions. It offers a large kitchen area, two fabulous hot tubs and an awesome Game room. Most importantly, Debbie (the cabin owner) made our trip as pleasant and easy going as possible. She was friendly, helpful and has developed a great page on Facebook, that I would recommend anyone to view, if looking for a beautiful family-sized cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains. My family and I will be back to visit this winter, so that we can enjoy the snow as well as the summer to embark on all of the outdoor activities and adventures. They follow their policies and keep an eye out on the campsites. They have quiet time policies, so you don't need to be blasted out by someone else's music or any parties. This is perfect for families like us, but not ideal for the young and single folks who want to party it up during camping. It was so quiet and serene. They have several bathrooms with showers (very clean and looked after) and an area to drop your trash so that you don't have to leave it near your campsite. The accommodations are meticulously decorated and comfortable. Breakfasts are catered by a local restaurant between 7am - 11am, and include scrambled eggs, bacon, orange juice, coffee, tea, several choices of baked goods, and even some Prosecco available if you want to concoct your own morning mimosa. In addition, beer, wine, and bottled still and sparkling waters are available all day, along with some crunchy packaged snacks in the afternoon. The location is in the Five Points area, which has many excellent restaurants within walking distance. We also noticed that Milledge Ave. is a popular jogging route for students in the morning. Not into jogging? A pleasant walk among the shade trees is a lovely diversion along the route as well. Parking is adjacent to the building and included. Access to the rooms and building are through an app which is easy to use. We felt like personal guests of the owners, and they ensured that we were satisfied with everything from start to finish. After our recent stay, I can't imagine staying anywhere else when visiting Athens again. We will definitely be back.

I am a big fan of luxury and this place really hit all the marks - beautiful rooms with fun modern luxury furnishings, beautiful common areas, very comfortable. We were wandering around the common areas to get coffee in the mornings. It was all just lovely. The owners really care about their customers and about ensuring that everything goes smoothly. We appreciated that. We will be back.

I rented an RV from Lightnin for a trip to Yellowstone and it was one of the best vacations I ever…read morehad. In terms of pricing it was a little costly to rent the RV but after checking prices elsewhere it was in no way out of line with what you are going to get anywhere else. Considering that all their units are very new I would say it was actually a bargain. When I picked up the unit they gave me a brief and very helpful tutorial (being a first time user) and then off I went with a fully prepped and cleaned RV. The trip was over 4000 miles and 11 days. During that time we had not one problem with the RV. It was more than up to the task even when climbing large hills, as is necessary in Yellowstone. ;) On our return the checkout was very quick and my deposit and refund for miles not used was returned to me very promptly. Overall the experience was so enjoyable I am now planning to purchase my own travel trailer in the future. If, however, I ever want to rent again in the future I would not hesitate to use Lightnin RV again. I highly recommend them.
