Chip City at Bay Plaza Mall is a win every time. I've ordered a few times using the Too Good To Go app and haven't been disappointed yet. For around $8, you get a generous amount of huge, fresh cookies definitely more than worth the price. The cookies are always soft, fresh, and loaded, not skimpy at all. It's a great deal and a solid way to try different flavors without paying full price. I have been a fan of Chip City since their original Queens location when the menu would change daily and the line when be down the block. This was before the app and multiple locations. I learned about this Bronx location a while ago but admittedly I never really enter the BayPlaza mall, especially not the 3rd floor. Well 12/4 was National Cookie Day and the perfect time to pay this location a visit. For national cookie day Chip City offered a free cookie via an app order. So I took advantage and ordered two. The White Chocolate Chip Ginger and the Red Velvet Cookies n Cream. Their cookies n cream cookie is one of my favs and I am a fan of almost anything red velvet so this was a nice combo. The white chocolate ginger was better than I could have imagined. Delicious as always and calories well spent. My one observation was that they were not as warm and soft as I've known them to be. Happy to have a location in close proximity because in the past I have traveled (tolls and all) to grab these tasty treats. I forgot to do a check-in when I visited Bay Plaza Mall, but I was happy to discover this place. The cookies I purchased from here were huge. My favorite was the s'more, although I came for the banana pudding. I wasn't too much of a fan because I don't like most of my treats filled with other stuff. Although still a good cookie. As a matter of fact, all of the cookies were really good. I would definitely make a return visit, and I'll remember to check in this time, lol. The prices are good. There is a little seating waiting area, and the customer service was great. The people here seemed to really love their job. It was just smiles galore. My first chip city experience was in Queens, after attending a Yelp event next door. A Yelp bud of mine went to get a cookie and I followed in suit. My kiddie really wanted a cookie so I bought her a confetti version. I didn't dare get one for myself just because of the sheer size. I immediately regretted not getting one for myself when I found out they were warm, but alas, I was patient, knowing that we would meet again. Fast forward to last night when my sis and I were walking back to her car after visiting JCPenney. We happened to be on the top floor, the one with all of the food benders, and I noticed thee familiar signage of chit city. I made a beeline to the shop and inhaled deeply, to enjoy the lovely aroma of freshly baked cookies. I got three cookies since you save by getting 3 in a box. I picked the white chocolate macadamia nut and the brookie, and got a chocolate chip for my sister. When I checked out, they said I had two free cookies available so I opted to use one of my discounts and did not realize that I was using someone else's rewards account. So keep in mind that if you pay for cookies at chip city with your credit card but use someone else's number so they get the rewards, when you use your card again, it automatically brings up their account. Apparently, when I visited the Queens location with my Yelp friend, I gave her phone number so that she could get credit for my purchase, but it carried over on my card for whatever reason, and the two free cookies were actually her free cookies...oops I'm not really sure how to fix that but I think I'll just sign up for my own rewards, with that card and hope that it knocks my credit card off of her account. Best cookies ever. Used to go almost weekly when i lived near the bayside location. No these are NOT comparable to mcdonalds blasphemy. If you want mcdonalds type cookies you go to Insomnia. If you want Crumbl type cookies but w exponentially better flavor that doesnt taste like you just scooped domino sugar out the box, you come to Chip. My family and I stumbled across Chip City at the Bay Plaza Mall on a Friday evening, it was new so we decided to give it a try. The sales lady took the time to tell us the flavors and also mention her favorite which was the brookie, so I got one and one chocolate chip for my son. The special is you buy two and get one for free, there was a young girl in the shop with us she couldn't decide what she wanted so I gave her my free cookie for her to try without having to spend money. The brookie was delicious it was crunchy on the edges, warm and gooey in the middle and it was still warm. My husband, son, and I all shared that one cookie it was large and very rich. I didn't try the chocolate chip my son saved it until we arrived home so he could share it with his brother, they both enjoyed it, so it was thumbs up from my family The price is a little steep $13 for three cookies, but it was worth it, I'm definitely going back for another brookie. read more

I love chip city cookies what I don't like is that they have the same cookies all the time. My favorite is oatmeal which they only have as thin. The service is great except for one time there was a young lady with glasses that totally ignored that I was on the line and attended to someone else. The young lady that was there today 11/6/2024 did an exceptional job. She was patient and even allowed me to use my rewards which never happened with any of the other employees.
