I saw videos and photos of this crazy "brunch hard" spot in Henderson. It said it was a speakeasy type brunch spits w champagne flute shooters and champagne sorry guns and a DJ. When we got there were confused bc there was none of that. So disappointing bc that is literally WHY we all drover 30+ min to go to this particular place. The waitress told us it was only a "pop up" & they dont do any of that, so we were all pretty upset considering it was my birthday brunch. Overall the food was Mexican and Asian fusion and pretty good tasting. We just had this high expectation of what we all saw in the videos vis their instagram page & felt mislead. If you live in the area it's a nice open air place to get some food its just a bit far from all of us to go frequently. Amanda was our server and she was nice as well. We just wanted all of the fun shenanigans we were hoping to experience. read more

Best place ever! Me and the hubby went for a dinner date and I always heard of this place and wanted to try. We got seated right away and there was a live singer which was a nice touch to our dinner. We ordered a sushi roll I believe it was the tiger one ( forgot the name ) but that was delicious! The Korean flatbread is to die for. The quesabirria tacos were *chef kiss! There's so much more I want to try on the menu so we will be back plenty of times. The service was fast and friendly. Our drinks were amazing as well. They have happy hour also which is when I'll prob try it again to get lots more stuff to try! Had only video clips of the food so couldn't post it :/ read more

Update: Owner commented saying "Fortunately there's always 2 sides to every story. We do hope that you have better experience the next time you visit another restaurant." 1) There are multiple independent witnesses who saw everything and condemned Omar's harassment as we walked out of there 2) I believe there were cameras there, so please go ahead and post any "proof" of your "side of the story" ;) 3) We have, in fact, had a lot better experience EVERYWHERE we have been with my service dog, including the establishment we took our business to after this unfortunate incident. 4) If you don't understand the ADA government regulations, it is actually your obligation to know the rules as a business owner. https://www.ada.gov/archive/qasrvc.htm here it is for your convenience. I'll point out the most relevant thing: "...any service animal that displays vicious behavior towards other guests or customers may be excluded. You may not make assumptions, however, about how a particular animal is likely to behave based on your past experience with other animals. Each situation must be considered individually." "You may not make assumptions based on your past experience" was violated before we even walked in. See original review for details. There was NO vicious behavior, only a few barks for the duration of under a minute, and only AFTER someone actively stood in the hallway right near where we were seated (all the way in the corner by an employee entrance to the kitchen), provoking the dog for a LONG period of time (see photos). Once I told the dog to cease barking, he did so immediately and went back to his spot on the floor by the wall. Just like any other service dog would. read more

The food here is so good! The service was great too. We had a variety off of the sushi menu and regular menu and everything was really good! We had the quesabirria tacos, bulgogi fries, salmon cocido roll, and screaming tuna and I cannot tell you which was best because they were all really good. Defiantly coming back! read more

Id give this a 3.5, I think this is a restaurant for hanging out or the bar, it's not worth if you are in a rush or just want really good and reasonably priced food. The food here isn't that authentic and relatively pricey I came here for a quick sushi lunch, I just wanted some good Asian food, so was pretty disappointed when I saw the price and how much time it took for them to place an order and get the dishes served. The rainbow roll was ok, fish was relatively thin compared to ones I ate at Asian sushi restaurants, it's kinda pricy but it does look nicely platted tho, just doesn't fit my cheap and yummy standards The tiger roll was a lunch special, so was 10$ which is acceptable But yea, portion sizes are probably on the smaller size, so might need to get a few dishes for 2 people. read more

You have to go here. My wife and I sat down and initially, we were ignored for ten minutes or so. No water, service, anything. It didn't seem like a good start. Then a waiter, Brandon, noticed us as he walked by and asked if we had been helped. We advised him no, and then we watched as Brandon searched for our assigned server. After doing what he could to try and find her, Brandon simply took our table (my wife later saw our initial server watching YouTube in the women's restroom, not everyone can crush it like Brandon I guess). Then Brandon made it right. We got our drink order fast. (Try the Mezcalita! It was great). We got our food order even faster. The birria Ramen was incredible, a combo of two awesome foods that I'll definitely have again. My water cup was never even close to empty. If I wanted anything, before I could complete my thought: Brandon was there to check on us. Aside from the great food and drinks, Brandon's exceptional service sold us on coming back to Chinitas. The guy was all over us like white on rice on a paper plate held by Mitt Romney in a snow storm. We even spoke with Chinita briefly, who was working herself to deliver drinks and bus a few tables. Nothing sells us like pride in one's work and tasty food. The large craft cocktail selection requires a few attendances to really appreciate! read more

I loved the decor, the vibe, the staff, the location and even the food. Perhaps it was because they had live music on both floors and the car show was going on, but the service was slow. We were not in a hurry, so it was all good. That is just the reason for not giving 5 stars. Special thanks to Janice and Claud who took care of us all night and were running all night to take care of everyone. Looking forward to coming back. read more

First time here but not my last! Amazing customer service to start off. Food was all awesome. I struggle with food due to a taste aversion BUT everything was amazing! My coworkers and I shared the Quesabirria Tacos, Carnitas Sliders, Brussel Sprouts, Mojo de Ajo Udon, & Mochi. The drinks were also great. 5/5. read more

My mom and her boyfriend found this place on google and they decided to take me when I came to visit. We went on a Saturday night and were greeted by a live DJ, friendly staff and extremely quick service! We ordered the elote ribs, wontons, fried rice and a flatbread. Each was great! My favorite were the elote ribs! There were more things on the menu that I would have loved to try - but my appetite is only so big. My mom got a spicy margarita and she really enjoyed it! Super cute vibe and again, great service. They have areas available for private events both upstairs and outside! read more

The place is nice and gives you a nice vibe. The decoration is nice, everyone greets you as you come in. Everyone was friendly! The food was good, better than I expected it. The fries we ordered had a seasoning that was so tasty! The salad was so refreshing, the ramen was better than I expected considering that I'm not a big fan of ramen. The sliders were so delicious. read more

Came here on a Friday w/ my son for the 1st time, and it was GREAT. The food, The people, the energy, the music. I absolutely enjoyed it so much we're going back again next week. It was packed busy (which is my tell-tale sign it's good) but we didn't have to wait long to be seated. Front service was friendly & inviting. Our server was attentive & knowledgeable. Manager was even very hands on greeting guests w/ a smile. You can tell everyone there is happy at work. Now let's move on to the food. Let me just tell you for a second that I over ate! I felt like a burrito walking out of there. We ordered tacos, sushi, ramen, wings & more.... Let's just say my son & I ordered for 5 people ok. Everything was so good esp their bulgogi tacos. I can't get enough of their pickled onion either. I'm hard to please when it comes to food but Chinitas surpassed my expectation. Ok the DJ- I'm glad they didn't have a dance floor or I would have broken my back dancing. This guy has ears for music & I know he'll be going places in the future. I can't tell you my age but let's just say Disco was the sh@t & techno music is still best . DJ played all kinds of music and then some. I told my 23yr old son this place is a perfect place for both afterwork stress reliever or for pre-party party. I can keep rambling on and on praises about this place but I figure it's better that you my readers should just go & experience it yourself. Food & music is life!! Go live & enjoy!! read more

This was amazing! We were told it was good but we did not expect the best service in such a long time with a smile and great attention to details, thank you Elizabeth and the food was much better then we expected. My hubby and I love sushi and ordered 3 different ones and they were all excellent. Highly recommend the sushi here. My husband got the bugogi tacos and loved them. Amazing food and service. We loved the beet tostadas, smash burger, sushi, sashimi and fried rice. The quesobirria is terrific too

Great place! Came here on a Friday night and it was a great atmosphere. There was a lot of people, but we were still seated very fast. There's an in house DJ who played throughout the night and even got some guests engaged with a few games/shoutouts. The food was amazing!! Everything was delicious, my favorite has to be the wagyu sliders and the yellowtail sashimi. The sushi we ordered was very fresh and other items came out hot and nicely plated. The margarita flight was only $20, so that's a steal, and it'll get you feeling good! The Moscow mule was also a hit. We will be back! read more

First off let me say that I am extremely happy that this place opened on Water Street, so close to both my work and my house. The area has really been coming up lately and this was a fine addition and probably the nicest restaurant on the whole street. I have been here twice and have tried a good bit of the menu (General Tso's Chicken tacos, Quesabirria tacos, Korean Short Rib Tacos, Beet Tostada, Egg Rolls Al Pastor, Crispy Pork Wontons, Bahn Mi Ahogada, Udon Al Mojo De Ajo, Churros, Spicy Poblano Margarita, and the Berry Ginger Margarita). Overall, everything was good and really the only thing I wasn't too fond of was the Beet Tostado, though my dad absolutely loved it. Standouts for me were the Udon and the Short Rib Tacos. They were both so incredibly tender and flavorful and also really unique! My dad honestly loved everything; who knew he was a fusion fiend! Personally I think the menu is overpriced, specifically the drinks and the tacos. I will say though that the restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous and a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. It is very pleasant being there and the staff, who are knowledgeable and friendly made the atmosphere even nicer. read more

Mood- something new Upon entering through the huge door was quickly greeted and ushered over to a booth. Menus were given and asked if there were any questions. Drink order was taken. Opted for the Carnitas Egg Rolls, Birria Ramen, & Quesabirria Tacos. I enjoy fusions. Especially when it really goes well. And the flavors were very on point. I will admit my fav was the Carnitas Egg Rolls. I would def order that again. As the roll was crispy and open and the flavors were robust. Interior is very large. There are several seating arrangements along with outdoor seating. There is an outdoor waiting area which will make out very nicely when they are packed. Everything was very clean. Televisions were playing the game, and music was going in the background. Staff were wearing masks to ensure good ol Covid Safety. Would recommend - pricing is a reflection of quality and presentation. Staff were very courteous and hospitable. The whole vibe was very nice and laid back. I will come back and try some of their sushi rolls next. Location is Water Street/Lake Mead - ample parking read more

This place is excellent! From the service to the food and the drinks! Finally got to try this spot... I've been wanting to try since they've opened and even though I live right down the road I hadn't had a chance, until today! Went with a couple foodie friends and we had quite the spread! My favorite thing today was probably the Korean short rib tacos and the egg rolls al pastor, but everything we tried was delicious! Also got the spicy garlic edamame and salmon cocino roll which are not pictured. Loved both rolls as well! Adrian, our server was awesome, friendly and offered top-notch service. Great food! Amazing sushi options and impeccable service. Fun atmosphere. Rosa was helpful and attentive!

What an experience!! This has been one of the most well done fusion restaurants I have been to! Mixing Mexican and Japanese to a perfect flavor combination and so many options that everyone can find something they'll enjoy! The Birra ramen was killer order it early as it takes some time to prepare but was the perfect mix of Mexican meats Japanese! The general Taos tacos were amazing and flavorful and a great size to let you order up something else to try like I did with the crunchy spicy tuna roll which had to be the spiciest I have ever tried but oh so crave worthy! If your really into a good time they have a drink cart that rolls around and makes special shots with unique twists! All around excellent visit!! read more

Friday date night with the husband! We decided to try Chinitas off of a Yelp recommendation. The atmosphere is as wonderful as the food is delicious! The staff were friendly, seemed happy to be there and were super on point with service! We started with shareable of elote corn ribs, pork wonton, and the salmon ceviche. Corn ribs were one of my favorites and the wonton were one of my husband's favorites. Neither of us cared for the ceviche-a bit fishy and way too slimey for us. On the taco selections we chose the tempura shrimp tacos and the Chino taquitos. Both were delightful! We tried one roll, but are excited to come back for others! The one we ordered was the Hoke Poke Roll. Sooo good!!! Husband had a cadillac margarita- he said it was one of the best he's had. I chose the margarita flight. Prickly pear was easily my favorite, followed by the strawberry, the mango, and lastly the regular. The DJ was unexpected, but is a nice touch. They do have outside seating, if the music is too loud... we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back read more

Chinitas Tapas & Sushi is my new go-to place in Henderson! My husband and I came here on a Friday night to unwind after a long week, and this place so delivered. Everything... from the service to the food was ON POINT. Whoever styled & designed this place nailed it because the environment is so fun and inviting. I loved that there was a DJ and options for indoor or outdoor seating. The menu was a mouthwatering fusion of Latin & Japanese cuisine. For sushi, we had the Hoke Poke Roll & Salmon Cocido Roll... the flavors and quality of fish were absolutely delicious. Our server recommended the Quesabirria and so glad he did. If you are a fan of birria, this taco-like quesadilla does not disappoint. Another meat dish suggestion are the Egg Rolls Al Pastor, they were so flavorful and had a perfect crunch. Also, a big shout out to our awesome server Richie! We really appreciated him making recommendations and providing us with excellent service.
