Chicken Chow Mein Broccoli Beef Teriyaki Chickenteriyaki
Betsabe H.

My heart breaks because my intention isn't to put down a small business but I had high hopes based on the reviews. As another reviewer pointed out, the chow mien was more veggies than noodles without any flavor and mostly salted. I love chow mien so I was looking forward to it. I really was. But it didn't meet my expectations. The food was overcooked and I got half and half, beef broccoli, and chicken teriyaki. I was grateful to have food but it wasn't what I thought it would be. The lady was so friendly and happy to serve but I think they need to double check the cooking process.

Imitation "Orange Chicken", 90% dough 10% chicken
Diego O.

Chicken is not chicken. 90% dough of some kind that mimics the look of chicken, spongy nasty feeling texture. This is becoming Chinese Food standard, but this place took it to a Whole Other Level. Just sad.

Wonton soup

The wonton soup was on point and always hot and fresh. You can call ahead to place an order to go and they serve you a good amount.

The BEST Fried Rice in town!
Tamara S.

This place has the best fried rice in town. I went here on a fluke and glad I stumbled in. Whenever I'm in the area I have to stop here. They give you a healthy portion and it's very flavorful. Also had the beef and broccoli which was very tender.

YOOO I been coming here ever since I was little!! Let me tell you--they NEVERRRR MISS! Man the barbeque pork is the best barbeque pork EVER, it had to be said! with the fried rice it doesn't get better than that.. I know it's looks like the most unassuming place ever but mannn this spot hits like no other. & these portions can easily be shared or saved for later! amazing! When I went in today I kid you not I walked out of there under less than a minute. SERVICE WAS THAT QUICK!! & the lady was smiling the whole time! the best hole in the wall ever

bbq pork and mushroom chicken

Small but mighty! Small but mighty is my description for Chinese Deli. This small spot in Carson has some mighty delicious food! One can easily miss the tiny building that houses Chinese Deli. It would definitely be sad though to miss out on this place because they offer some delicious food for good prices! A combo with two entrees, fried rice and chow mein runs for under $13. Entrees include yummy dishes like Orange Chicken, Mushroom Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken and BBQ Pork. Aside from entrees; one can get sides like egg rolls or soups such as Wonton Soup and Hot and Sour Soup. I found the food here quite tasty! I enjoyed the BBQ pork. It was good in flavor and was very tender. I also liked the Mushroom Chicken. I found it to be quite savory and paired well with the fried rice. One other thing I noticed here is they are continuously cooking and so you are sure to be getting fresh food. Sometimes for small places; food can sit for hours under the heat lamp. That is not the case here as I personally saw them bringing out newly prepared food from the kitchen. This place may not look like that much from the outside but I highly recommend checking this place out for their mighty delicious food

Small standalone store, set-up with prepared food in steam trays that you pick from....just like a lot of other fast food chinese places all over LA. It's a stand alone building with some parking, as well as spaces in the back of the nearby KFC (there are no signs threatening towing if you park there as a non-KFC customer, so the businesses must get along OK). We were doing some errands in the area, and this place got good reviews, so decided to stop-in for dine-in. There isn't much room inside, but there are a few tables set-up to the side for dine in. It is a Panda-Express/Hong Kong Express set-up, where there are already food prepared that you choose from. Usually a 2 or 3 entree combo can be shared between us, so got the two item combo plate ($13.47) with half fried rice and half chow mein adding broccoli beef and teriyaki chicken. One impressive thing was that the fried rice had bbq pork in it, instead of it just being plain. Portions are large, and everything tasted OK. Drinks are cans only ($1.79). It was quite busy while we were there, and everybody chose something from the steam trays, so the food seemed to be turning over pretty fast.

The menu has a "New York Plate" which is a deconstructed sandwich and you build your own sandwich which is the hot tip. The way they serve the regular pastrami, all the meat is in the middle of the bread and if you just eat meat, you don't get any crust in your bite and the crust is the best part of rye bread. For my second half of the sandwich, I took out all the pastrami and used the crust like Nachos. Put pastrami on the crust. I think the Latkes are served with cream cheese instead of sour cream. It was too thick for sour cream. The waitress said its Philadelphia Sour Cream, but Philadelphia doesn't make sour cream. I think cream cheese is better than sour cream, so it was good for my non-Jewish palate. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9ABnBcfDsI

Walking up to the restaurant, I noticed there were many outdoor patio tables lining the sidewalk. The deli counter is the first thing you see when you walk in, but there's a huge indoor dining area. The sign states to seat yourself, so as soon as I seated myself, staff provided me with a menu. I ordered a coffee and hot pastrami sandwich on rye bread which comes with a choice of salad. I chose the cucumber salad. The pastrami sandwich was huge. It was packed with a lot of high quality, tender pastrami meat. The plate also comes with a side of pickles, so yes, I was full afterwards. My coffee cup was always filled, tasted good, and hot. The two staff that were waiting on all the tables were friendly and efficient. There was never a moment I felt neglected. It's prefect for both small and large groups. Parking: Free, shared strip mall. Crowded, small parking spaces.

It's not like anything I have ever had. Very soupy compared to traditional Shrimp and Grits and.... I loved it. So did my son because he ended up eating a good portion and left his Big Mo's sandwich. We decided to eat it in the car in the parking lot at the soccer game and damn, it was so full I almost spilled it. It is a HUGE portion and you will not be able to eat in one sitting. And again, so delicious. My son ordered the Big Mo and it was really good too. Huge portion. I was mentioning this place to some other friends and they're all like... "oh yeah, Orleans & York" like I'm the only one that didn't know. The customer service was really nice and professional. While there were only two other parties in there, we saw a lot of people coming in for pickups. Can't wait to get back here.

(I had to make a special request for this on my last run since it wasn't on the menu at the time) so I went for that again. I also asked for the bread to be toasted (forgot to do that on my last run, too.) And, boy, oh, boy! They are consistent! They didn't skimp on the shrimp and the oysters, bread was perfectly toasted and kept all the ingredients in and each bite was just down right delish! And because the handheld meal was so big, I was only able to consume half and save the other for the next meal... which is when I realized I forgot to take a picture. Heh.... As far as the food ...The sandwich was not for me, but those that said it was very delicious and fresh. Now I have the antipasto salad and I will be honest it was OK nothing extraordinary, but what I did not enjoy were the olive pits that were still in the olives that was not fun. Thankfully, I did take my time when eating my salad and was cautious when approaching the olives as I have had an unfortunate experience that cracked my tooth due to an olive in a salad before. So that's a huge negative for me on the antipasto salad. The price point is pretty decent, the food was good, but to say that I would drive all the way back out to grab a sandwich here would probably not happen, but I'd only come out here if I was in the area. Places clean, prices, Repair, and the workers were kind of to that I am grateful.
