Service was very good. Have been searching for a good sit down Chinese restaurant for a while. My search continues. Roti were cold and greasy. Shrimp pad Thai lacked flavor. Shrimp were few and small. Will give it one more try.

Eggplant in OIL SAUCE with a side of garlic flavor so disappointed

I was so thrilled to find a chinese restaurant open during these times of lockdown that I didnt mind getting on the highway and driving some towns away for takeout. Unfortunately, my household and I were deeply disappointed with the $60 dollar worth of food we ordered. Not only was it overpriced but it was gross. The beef and broccoli and eggplant with garlic sauce were full of oil and bland, my pork duplings smelled and tasted weird which I suspected to be rancid so I had toss it out, and my egg roll was overfried not golden but brown. Such a let down that I had to come out of "restaurant review retirement" to warn the masses. Stay away folks!

Spicy tuna roll, avocado & eel roll

We wanted a quick bite to eat before heading to a wedding at a nearby church. Every other place was closed down the street at 11am on a Saturday. Thus place didn't look open at first, but I only discoved it was opened after checking their hours on Yelp. We just got a eel & avocado sushi & spicy tuna roll. We were the only ones in the restraunt and the guy who looked like the manager was struggling with the POS system and the credit card machine. Food was prepared quickly, and we ate it in the car. It was very dark inside the restraunt. The sushi was okay. It was still warm from the rice, but the sushi wasn't that flavorful. It came with Wasabi, ginger, and soy sauce. It was okay for the price of $12 for the sushi. I probably wouldn't come here again, but it's a good place to visit when no other place is opened. I think they're hot food is probably better, and the sushi is definitely something they just do on the side. But it was quick and less messy than hot food.

This place has become my go-to Chinese spot even though it's about a 15 to 20 minutes drive from my house. I stumble upon it one day leaving my son's Barbershop and have been hooked ever since. This is not you're basic Chinese food. And what I mean by that is that the meat that you order is the actual meat that you get. Not that rubbery questionable meat you get at other spots. I love that they have a very pleasant dining area if you wish to dine in even though the waiter can be a little pushy. I love their lo mein, their fried rice, beef and broccoli, mei fun, egg rolls, mango shrimp. Everything so far has been really yummy!

I order lunch for our office from here once in a while and generally have fresh sushi. We usually order the peppered tuna wraps, avocado salad, pineapple rice, the philly roll, tuna roll, and the california. All are made fresh and tastes delicious. They say about 45 minutes however they're generally here within 30 minutes or less. Will continue to order from here.

The only good place in the area for decent sushi and Chinese food. I've ordered and dined at Chinatown multiple times in the years I've lived in Harrison and no other restaurant has done better. Food is average to good - depending on what you order. They actually do well on authentic Chinese dishes and sushi rolls. In terms of dining experience, the restaurant is clean, interior is nice, and there is a sushi bar for those who want to see the sushi chef make the rolls for delivery and dine in. The sushi chef is very nice and accommodating and the service is great! Delivery time is average, order has always been correct, food is warm and there is no spillage every time I've ordered which I consider a big plus. They're also open on most holidays!

I don't know why this place doesn't have more stars! Their sushi is amazing! An extensive sushi roll menu plus Chinese and Japanese entree dishes and apps........ plus BYOB!!! Guys, maybe we should keep it a secret? The atmosphere is definitely old school 90s Asian restaurant and not on purpose for an over the top nostalgia effect. It's just never been updated inside. Right down to a huge fish tank in the back! But the most important is that everything is clean and the staff is so sweet. Definitely add this to your list of places to try! I'll be a returning fan.

Literally, it's the best Chinese restaurant in tri-city area, Harrison Kearny and Newark. Their Chinese foods are undoubtedly authentic, sushi rolls are freshly made and even can be modified for special requests. I'm kinda picky about restaurants and have a long page of"ban list". But this place never let me down in past several years. Highly recommend!

Best Dan Dan noodles I've had in a while - maybe ever. I was quite surprised by the delicate balance between mildly spicy and peanut buttery in the noodles. I wasn't expecting this deliciousness from a neighborhood Chinese restaurant! Service was very fast and courteous. Booths were spacious and clean. Diners were enjoying themselves. Good ambience. I got takeout but plan to come back for dinner.

I happily devoured it and immediately craved more. This unexpected combo actually works so well! *Taro French Toast with Boba $16.5 ** If this is your first time here, ORDER THE FRENCH TOAST. I literally get it every time--the milk tea French toast is perfectly brûléed and topped with taro paste, boba, whipped cream, and salted egg yolk bits. I love that their lu rou fan comes with a soft-boiled ramen egg instead of a hard boiled one, and the pickled mustard greens on the side are my favorite part. *Taiwanese Milk Crumb Toast $5 New item! On the plus side, the hospitality is top-notch; we loved the complimentary Taiwanese kimchi and dessert, and the portion sizes are generous Pork Belly over Rice (4.25/5): The standout! It was packed with flavor, though on the oily side Soft Shell Crab (3.5/5): The crab was well-prepared, but the avocado pairing muted the flavor, making it a bit bland Taiwanese Fried Chicken over Rice (3/5): This was surprisingly sweet for a savory entree, which others may like that Century Old Egg Tofu (2/5): A miss for me, it was served cold and the sauce pairing didn't really work Great service and a lovely vibe overall

Go Go Curry prides itself in its Kanazawa-style curry, which differs from your typical Japanese curry because of the addition of molasses. The pork katsu cutlet was breaded and fried perfectly, the pork itself was juicy and tender, and the sauce is to die for! It was rich, aromatic, and had a wonderful consistency that coated each piece of katsu. Joy, the restaurant owner, was so incredibly nice. We talked a bit after I ate and you could tell each order was made with love! The decor was awesome, with wall paintings of their gorilla mascot and Yugioh playing on their TV screen. I would absolutely come back to NJ to try this curry again! Thank you, Joy!

If you find yourself in Newark NJ, give it a try. It's unique and really tasty food!

The service was friendly and did not take too long to get my order ready. The food was hot and stayed hot as I walked home 10 minutes in the cold. It was served to-go in a plastic container in a brown paper bag. They had chopsticks available to grab and the order came with a fork and a napkin. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is that they did not provide a cup of water when I requested one, and it was this lack of a cup of water that was the reason I walked home to eat instead of eating in the restaurant. The ambiance seemed fine and had a standard fast-casual vibe.
