The young lady recommended the beef and broccoli, but I decided to order the ribs and rice. Looking back, maybe I should have taken her advice! Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. The rice was extremely dry, and the ribs were very tough. I love ribs and rice, especially when the food is fresh, but these ribs tasted as though they had been cooked and then reheated or recooked. They definitely did not taste fresh. Unfortunately, I can only give this place 1 star, and that one star is strictly for the pleasant customer service. The food simply was not it. With that said, I won't be returning.

He said that everyone there was friendly and helpful when he stepped through the door. The food was pretty good. My husband was a big fan of the orange ginger tofu. I liked their moo shu vegetable, but I should have liked a some wood ear mushroom in there. The vegetable fried rice was a repeat order.

There is an item in the menu that is Bill and Harry's chicken, but as I am vegetarian, I ask for it with tofu instead and they honor my request with no problem. Their sauce has a little spice to it, is very flavorful and just so good! All the food tasted super delicious, not very greasy considering it is Chinese. Grandma loved that they didn't put the sauce on her sweet and sour chicken, so by the time we got home, it didn't get soggy! The rice and all the noodles were flavorful. Will continue to go out of my way to get Chinese food here!

For an appetizer here, I had their bbq chicken wings. I highly recommend them. They were coated in a garlic bbq sauce and were very juicy and filled with flavor. The main dishes we had were the Hawaiian chicken barbecue with french fries (rice is available instead) and lomo salteado, a Peruvian dish. The barbecue chicken was very good - it came with three well-cooked cutlets of meat with crinkle cut french fries. It was a pretty standard barbecue plate. The lomo salteado was not bad either. The gravy in the dish was a little more watery than it should be, but overall, it contained all the necessary ingredients and was very filling. The staff here is very polite and friendly as well.

I grew up in the BX but ran around Harlem regularly even lived there for a while. Both sides of Harlem have given me so much ethnic background and cultural experiences. Spanish Harlem is where my love for Chinese food began. My cousins and I would frequent the chinese Spanish spot and get chiccarones de pollo with shrimp fried rice and sweet plantains for $3. Yeah, waaaaay back lol There was a spot up the block from their grandmother, near Jeff projects. It was delicious and for $1 fried rice and $1.50 wings (for 4) it was almost always a go and a break in between our regular arroz con pollo, empanadas and ropa vieja.
