I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for 10 years and have ordered from them throughout…read morethat time. They offer loyalty cards that provide a free meal after collecting 10 signatures. Yesterday, I brought in two completed cards to redeem the free lunches I had earned. Instead of simply honoring the promotion or politely asking questions, I was accused of forging signatures on the cards. The staff aggressively challenged me and treated me as though I was attempting to scam them, despite the fact that I have been a paying customer for years and received those signatures directly from their business. Being publicly accused of dishonesty over a loyalty program was embarrassing, insulting, and completely unnecessary. If there were concerns about the cards, there were professional ways to address it. The way I was treated showed a lack of respect for a long-time customer. I left feeling off guard, frustrated and disappointed. After supporting this restaurant for so many years, I never expected to be treated this way over a loyalty card

They're always busy and moving, the food has no time to get stale. Their lo mein, wings, rice, moo shoo and chicken and broccoli are always delicious. The rolls are a great size with 8 pieces each, so you definitely leave full. The combo comes with miso soup, a ginger salad, and a drink, which makes it an awesome value for the amount of food you get. The staff was really nice, and the sushi chef actually took the time to explain what went into the order. Huge props to them for not charging extra for eel sauce, too. My only tiny callouts were that I wished the lettuce in the salad was chopped a little smaller and that there was a bit more pickled ginger, but overall it was a great experience. It's definitely set up more for quick pick-up than a sit-down meal, but the quality is 100% there. I'll definitely be coming back!

So this placed is raved as one of the best Chinese food restaurants in the area-- you know I had to…read moretry it! I ordered something simple, being that it was my first time: vegetable lo mein with extra broccoli and fried wings. I really wanted wings in garlic sauce or honey but I was told that they only serve plain wings, so that sucked but not the end of the world. The veggie lo mein was DELICIOUSSSSSSS. Sometimes lo mein can be greasy, over cooked, and covered in the thin sauce but this was the opposite. It wasn't covered in oil or sauce and the noodles were perfectly cooked. I almost finished the entire platter of lo mein alone haha. The wings were pretty good too, definitely not the best I've had in the area but comparable. They were a little more salty than I would personally like but if salt is your thing then it'll probably be perfect for you. All in all, I'll definitely be back, especially for the lo mein! HEADS UP: THIS IS A CASH ONLY RESTAURANT and there's no ATM on the premises. There is a corner store next door but if you prefer a bank, make sure to have your cash ahead of time.

So, roughly seven years ago, some time after our favourite local Chinese food joint mysteriously…read morewent bye-bye, we decided to take a chance on this unassuming little place. It's very close to where I live, and I remember my late grandfather getting food from here years ago (although I'm sure the place has changed hands since then). This is not a place you can sit down in-- it's strictly takeaway food. When you call, you either get someone who speaks and understands English well, or you get someone who, well... doesn't. In the latter case, you just have to make sure you get your order read back to you to avoid any mistakes. The food...is delicious. Since we live near the place, we barely have time to sit down before the delivery person calls to tell us he's arrived. The food gets here maybe ten-fifteen minutes after we order it, so our food is always hot when it arrives. Food's always fresh-tasting and satisfying. My go-to dish is shrimp with broccoli--the broccoli is always perfect, with a good bite. Their General Tso's items could stand more broccoli (*when* did Chinese restaurants stop adding broccoli to that dish?) so I order extra for a dollar more We can actually tell if the chef has changed by the quality of the food, or how thick the sauce is or isn't. Our favourite days seem to be Tuesday and Saturday. It's good all the time, but those days seem to be much better than others. I have not tried everything on the menu because reasons, but we've ordered from here consistently over the span of six years, give or take, so that should give you some idea as to how good the food is. My only qualm with Kong Ming is they don't have brown rice. Maybe they'll add it if we ask, but we're probably not gonna quit ordering from here.
