So I don't normally like to post reviews but this needs to be said. We have ordered from Good Tasty Too for 3-4 years probably twice a month. We received an order tonight with a straight black hair in the food. It was an online order and after 5 calls to the restaurant we still had no resolution (mind you for a $10 item). We had to drive to the establishment and argue with the restaurant. They accused us of planting the hair or being too full and trying to cancel the order. So normally when I'm traveling and need to eat I look for nearly an hour or reading thoroughly menu options, combinations, deals, reviews, gripes etc. This time my wife and I were so hungry we took a shot within the first few minutes. We opted for the option B which gives you Lo mein, fried rice, chicken broccoli, general Tso, sodas and egg rolls for only $30. I was comparing that vs 4 lunch specials. We were expecting 50% hit and miss. To our surprise, everything was on point. The Tso was sweet and a little tangy with the softer crunchy breading vs rock hard 5x retried chicken covered in dark sauce to hide the shame. The house special Lo mein was tasty, held its quality and didn't degrade for our particular drop off brought by a guy on his electric bicycle. I usually go for beef broccoli but the chicken was fine. Again not over done with the sauce, right balance. Oh I forgot you get boneless spare ribs too which were delicious and huge. Down to the eggrolls, crispy outside, fresh and fried in fresh oil. We've had it twice already, was going to order again today but went with Korean and regretted not sticking with this place. During the work week, it gets a lot of business from people who work in the area during office hours, but is also open later in the evening and over the weekend for local residents. This restaurant has poor management and terrible delivery. They are rude and sarcastic. The delivery guy didn't even get off his bike to bring the food in and this was before he knew if there was a tip ! I paid via cash app and showed the guy the receipt before he left, next morning woke up to voice memos and 20 missed calls for an order that was 11 dollars !!! When I expressed my concerns and told them I would never order again they responded with a smiley face. It's way better Chinese food out there. I will never order from them again. Their current location is very convenient to Newark City Hall, The US Attorneys Office, and the US Post Office. I've dined in and had delivery on several occasions to my office. I most recently had the chicken and broccoli, won ton soup, and an egg roll. Everything is always tasty and cooked fresh. With all the years I've been going here, I've never had a problem. It's been the same manager the entire time. The prices are very good, it's clean, and the portions are generous. They only accept cash but there is an ATM in the lobby. You can even order on line if you choose. There is limited on the street parking in the area so you have to be patient or find a pay lot. Also, the people working up front (usually a woman and her daughter) are very courteous, which is a rarity in the area. It also attracts fewer of the unsavory characters because it is located next to a courthouse and police station. I'd recommend the General Tso's Chicken or the Boneless Spare Ribs.
