I learned about this place through Facebook, was intrigued because Chinese food in Atwater is limited to like 4 places, and honestly I'm burnt on a couple of them because the prices went up while the quality has gone down. I had to work today and was gonna be around that neighborhood so I decided to stop by. They have a good variety of options. I went with two staples, the chow mein and The Mongolian beef. The Mongolian beef was good and very tender, while the orange chicken still had a bit of a crisp with nice tangy flavor, albeit a bit sweet but still very tasty. I was satisfied with those two entrees. I tried the chow mein and this is where I had a slight hesitance. To me, it lacked flavor. The veggies and the noodles were all just ok. Nothing to write home about. I had to add the Sriracha and soy sauce to make it more suitable for me. It had questioning if I should have went with the fried rice. It still was ok but it felt like it was missing a little bit of something. Needless to say I will be back to try the many other entrees and the egg rolls. Now this is my opinion, I am in no way shape or form trying to give negative feed back, but to me the chow mein was the weakest link on the plate. The cashier was nice and very quick. I will be back and will edit this review later to incorporate the rest of the entrées and sides that they sell. read more
