Very nice Mexican restaurant. Covered outdoor seating. Customer orders at the counter. We had delicious birria tacos, the asada fries and a chicken quesadilla. Next time I would order less condiments on the fries but they were very good. Keep the condiments to a few. Birria tacos are on the small tortillas. Two to an order. Delicious! Stopped by on my way back home from a short road trip. Great service and staff, accommodating. Plenty of seating(outside). The food reminded me of my grandma's home cooked meals. You can tell that the rice and beans were made fresh, same goes for the corn tortillas. They had a tv up in the corner outside playing novelas. They also had a restroom in the back the is kept clean throughout the day. I will definitely be coming back next time I'm close by. read more

By far had one of the worst wet burritos. The sauce was spicy with no flavor. The burrito was bland as can be. For the $14+tax price definitely not worth it and don't recommend it. I have gone there twice and both times that I have asked them not to add something to it they added then they play the dating do it when they're the cooks so they're trying to blame the customer when I asked specifically not to add spice spicy salsa, they continue to add it and they speak in Spanish so they think that you don't understand since you're talking to them in Spanish. Also that place used to be a wonderful place been out lately is change is a disappointment now they won't refund my money nor they'll pick up the call so they can credit my account ot remake it horrible, customer service read more

I love this taco stand and always try to stop by and eat here when I'm in the Winton area! They have a nice, well maintained outdoor eating area where they play music and show sports on the television. The tacos are a must have and breakfast is bomb! The prices are also very reasonable for the large portions that they serve. read more

I ordered food on the phone the other day while my boyfriend went somewhere else. And absolutely everything about this place was amazing. The woman who took my order on the phone was so incredibly sweet and patient. When I got there to pick up my food, the outside dining area was beautiful. Rolled up on the 1st day of August. Sun blazing about 6:00 pm. This place is a little hidden gem but I found it on Yelp so I spotted it and found my parking spot. The sun is setting heating up The patio. A few patrons decorate the seating area enduring until their order was ready. I stepped up to the window to be greeted by an attractive young girl who took my order then disappeared back into the kitchen. This kitchen is a place of cleanliness and work. Diligently they prepared the food and called my name. We had decided to get it to go. Four beef tacos, chicken quesadillas and Shrimp. Just over $22.00 We returned back to my daughters house to have dinner. Oh wow! We were so surprised at how much we had to eat! Perfectly seasoned excellence. My daughter actually said "This is the best Mexican food she has ever had". Not sure why they had a few bad reviews. Oh yeah there were a few flies buzzing around. Hey, it's August. I found the place to be a superior experience that you don't want to miss out on. I think here in the United States we get a little too pampered. I'm glad to see that in a town with so much competition for Latin food; this place has survived so many years as a local staple. Usually with all types of businesses you see a change in someway overtime but with this restaurant I feel that their food is just as good today as it was 15 years ago. It's hard to pick one item over the other here but what I've learned is that you can't go wrong with a burrito supreme. Soooooo I heard so much great reviews about this place and how it's a secret spot and they served bomb burritos....we were excitingly ready to try this place. Saturday Evening--super nice that there was no line and no one was there. It was an outdoor sitting restaurant on a lot that had a smog shop and another taco truck further down the entrance. Menu was easy to read and prices were listed. We ordered two regular carne burritos, one chicken quesadilla, four carne tacos, and two bottles sodas. Burritos: 1/5 there was absolutely no flavor at all in these burritos. I DID NOT LIKE THEIR BEANS-not sure which brand or kind they used but absolutely did not go well with this. The rice?? Let's just say it was mushy rice still no flavor! The burritos were dry and tasteless... Quesadillas: 2/5 the chicken were thick and did not go well with the whole thing. Tacos: 0/5 TASTELESS such a big disappointment!!!!! Tortilla looked old and beat up it wasn't fresh I can tell you that! Hard and chewy-had to force yourself to bite through the tortilla!! Not good! All the carne asada meat you can easily tell they were old it had that dark burnt edges, stale, dry, no flavor!!!!! Okay so from the being On top of the tacos to inside of the burritos to the quesadilla--they all had their "House Sauce". Ummmmm I can honestly say I'm not a big fan of this. This sauce was more like a paste to me. So the menu states "fountain drink" so I'm thinking it's their fountain drinks right??? No it was their glass bottles soda! I was kinda piss but whatever... This is just not a review from me but from three other people as well--we rate this place one of our worst Mexican food experience. Maybe it was just one of their bad days??? Haven't gone here for a long time. The only thing I remember is me and my family going he on the weekends and eating out, those we good day. Now, after about 6 years or so, I had the chance to try it again. And men, no wonder we came he almost every Sunday. I got the borrito supreme. The meat was the first thing that shocked me. There was so much flavor and so juice. The cream in it was bomb too, don't know, but something in the cream is different than others that just makes you want more. We have been going to this place off and on for the last several years. When the food is good it's GREAT...but about 50% of the time our order is wrong, and badly wrong. I eat the SIMPLEST item you can make: A chicken quesadilla with sour cream (crema), it's the only thing I ever order because I cannot eat anything else there. My husband LOVES Mexican food but for many reasons my stomach cannot handle it. A basic quesadilla is easy to make, quick, and should be no problem. Wrong. Tonight was the last straw. My quesadilla had some sort of chili hot sauce on it, and diced onions throughout...neither of which I am allowed to eat, so I now have to throw out 90% of it ( I tried scraping most of the onion and sauce off and adding extra cheese, it didn't help). It's not just my food they make wrong, my husband is allergic to corn tortillas and what do they use for his tacos? CORN tortillas. He can handle it, but it's just one of many screw ups on our orders. The food is good when it's what you order, but it's a gamble. read more
