Seen mixed reviews, wasnt sure if I wanted to try this place out. But I decided to anyway. Inside was pretty decent. I ordered the CA burrito but added rice to it and wanted it cut in half and a Jamaica drink to go. They served it pretty fast but then again everything appeared to be made already, kind of like Chipotle. The Jamaica drink was so so. The burrito was actually really good, the fries gave it a good crunch inside. It was a large size burrito. I opened it up to see the inside, it doesn't look great inside, but it did taste good. They forgot to cut it in half. I would go back to this place and try something else from the menu. read more

I ordered a supreme nacho and it had no meat or cheese on it. Really for $16 bucks that's low class. Service no good. My opinion there is no ambience. If I were you it's better options in the city. Don't waste your time. read more

In my opinion one of the best burritos I've had. If you like burritos that are just loaded with the mushy guacamole type texture I highly recommend this place. The food is pretty packed with flavor the complements everything and the tortilla has that nice crisp on the outside and softness on the outside. Staff was friendly and couldn't complain. I came and ordered the California Burrito from you and it was surprisingly good... and yes, if anyone is wondering, it comes with guacamole. This used to be another Mexican Restaurant which we loved going to. Merced doesn't really have much good Mexican Restaurant so when this opened, we knew we had to try it. My boyfriend decided to bring us here to try and we will be back for sure. We were surprised to see a few tables occupied since that wasn't the case before. We ordered: Regular Taco - comes with cilantro, onions and salsa of your choice (mild or hot). This is your regular street style tacos. I got 1 Carne asada and 1 el pastor. Both were flavorful. Regular Nachos - chips and cheese. We added jalapeños with it. This was right amount of cheese for the chips. The prices are reasonable. Service is great. Please keep it that way. I was here Friday night to pick up some food. When this place first opened, the food was amazing but unfortunately it had gone downhill and it's extremely expensive. It was my first time at this location and few days ago. I was mainly drawing in by their advertisements on their windows. I thought it would be a good idea since I have been enjoying asada fries through out Merced. I ordered asada fries and as you can see from the picture they aren't the best looking. The flavor is getting there but it's a bit late for the party. The employee who took our order was friendly and super helpful, but the cook, on the other hand seemed pissed to be cooking. She would ask him a question and he would scream back the answer. For the price, quantity, and quality I would definitely recommend Danny's Tacos or Asadero. There are too many great Mexican food options in town. There is no need for this one. I got the signature Guacamole burrito I ate about half of it, and threw the rest away. Rather make a PB and J sandwich. Coop got the Bean and Cheese, he tossed out his burrito too. My wife got the Breakfast burrito and liked it. Best burrito spot in Merced hands down!! Highly recommend this place I'm so grateful I stumbled upon it! The two main things I order off their menu is in the California burrito and the guacamole burrito, so good!!! Need to try more of their menu next time I go. Food and atmosphere were great! Super clean, quiet, and great quality food. We tried the Asada tacos, supreme taco, fish taco, and shrimp taco. All were 10/10! First time here , the inside and outside of the restaurant looks great. I ordered a supreme asada quesadilla and asada tostada . The tostada was ok but very small other restaurants sell bigger ones . They asked which sauce you want for the quesadilla a red hot or green sauce. The red sauce was so hot that they put it inside the quesadilla which was not good . Also the red sauce had a smokey flavor to it which was nasty , and being too hot I just threw the quesadilla away. They need a red sauce for flavor not heat or smokey flavor.
