Friendly staff, not sure what the other fuss is about. They deserve more stars. When paying we left a 20% tip and the waitress came up saying that we drank a lot of soda so we should tip more. 3 people had one refill each and one had 3. As others have said, this is a sad buffet. Literally every other one I've been to within 3 miles has a greater selection of better food. They have little cards above the food here that indicate when it was last made. We came during the dinner rush and much of the food had been placed out around 2:00 pm. It's not a good idea to eat dishes with sour cream, for example, that have been sitting out for 3-4 hours! I was encouraged when they said yes we do have Dr. Pepper. But they kept bringing root beer and Diet Coke telling me it was the same thing. No it's not. If I wanted one of those other things that's what I would have asked for. Why not just be honest and tell me "no, we don't have what you're asking for, would you like something else instead?" What's wrong with telling the truth? We came in at 3pm, so we were able to get the lunch price and we're able to try a little bit of the dinner at 330pm, and I would say that the dinner items are a slight above better then what they serve at lunch. They have a good amount of seafood dishes that are good, but I would stay clear of their sushi rolls and sashimi. The rice on the rolls are super dry and the sashimi is really gross (not fresh at all). I would come here if you're craving that typical Chinese buffet food where it's actually good and a little dirty inside. Someone once told me the dirtier it is inside, the more tasty the food is. I love this Chinese buffet! The reviews on here do not do it justice. The customers are mostly non-asian, and the place is always packed and always has a waitlist. Good thing people go in and out fast. If you speak Chinese, utilize it; that should be a bonus when speaking to staff. The venue was a bit stuffy. I'm not sure if it was because the food was always hot and fresh or because the restaurant was packed. Probably both...I came around lunchtime. The buffet prices are decent. Hope it stays that way. They have a sign up to not waste food, this way, they can keep the prices down. The food was overall good! They have a good amount of seafood options and a lot of greasy foods. I ate pretty much every hot tray item. The sushi was just okay, sashimi too; I preferred the hot foods more. The salad and fruit section were okay. But ever since the buffet opened up again my friends and I have noticed that certain patrons get certain treatment there like this one guy had a whole pitcher of iced tea to himself! And in those handful of times that we've come we can't even get a refill of our drinks. When she returned, I told her I was still drinking my tea, again she IGNORES me and now I'm upset. Not to make a scene, I let it go. As approaches near our table sweeping, she mutters profanities and curses us in Chinese. As we leave at 8:45pm, we say thank you and nobody responds, instead, someone else mutters in Chinese as we leave.
