Before COVID this buffet wasnt a bad place to eat for the price. We ate here quite a bit. It obviously wasnt 100 Seafood Grill but for a cheap buffet it was decent. I think we went once after COVID and I wasnt a fan but I figured they were probably still recovering from the pandemic. We went today and it was just bad all the way around. The food wasnt good at all. I wish I would have taken a picture of the fried rice...it looked like they barely put some soy sauce on it and some peas and threw it on the line. It was really pathetic and I told my wife that that rice was a metaphor of the effort that they put in. Our plates were NEVER cleared, not once after we were sat. The neighboring tables were empty for about 15 before we left and hadnt been cleared yet. We got up and walked over to one of the ladies to ask for our check and she was completely clueless as to what table was ours. I asked for a military discount and they applied a 10% discount to just my buffet entry which didnt include my wife or our drinks so we got $1.50 off of $36 bill. We are not coming back. My family has come here for over twenty years, usually once a year for special occasions. The food was good but we came for the variety. The last time we ate here was before the shutdown. Last year I checked into reviews and was really cautious. But now I see a lot of other things people disliked that wasn't the food. My family insisted to go on the first week in May (2025). Wow! The overall selection was the same only this time there were sauces for the seafood and a new dessert dish. The food was seasoned well and you could tell that it was cooked with care. Sushi were pretty but taste was so-so mostly because of avocado wasn't ripe but all rolls had to have avocado for some reason. Ice-cream was watery and tasteless, the worst ice-cream I ever had. Don't go to this location. The food here is either soggy, cold, or dried out. They try to keep the food hot by having hot water underneath the food but it causes steam that rises to the glass above the food or to the ceiling, and that water eventually drips back down from the glass and the ceiling onto the food. The steam has also caused mold in a couple of corners of the ceiling. There isn't really any service, we had to go to the front to get the check, no one came to check on us while eating either. Should've listened to the other reviews of this place. The food was edible. It didn't cause any gastrointestinal problems. Some of it was good. The coconut shrimp was actually pretty tasty, but the rest was very forgettable. Most of the items on the buffet had been sitting out for a loooong time. The trays were very picked over. Some of it appeared dried out and a bit crusty. The food however, wasn't the least fortunate thing about the establishment. It was quite dirty and the decor and furniture was very old and worn. It's one thing to have an unpleasant visual atmosphere with dirty tables and seats but have amazing food or, the opposite, a beautiful and eye catching experience with mediocre food... but both the food and the environment was pretty awful. The food was alright. Nothing great or memorable. The service was horrible. No one came to refill our drinks or take our used plates until the very end when the server heard me complaining. The floors were wet and I almost slipped several times. There weren't any wet floor signs in the back room where we were seated. there was one sign in the corner not very visible. I told the cashier that they should probably put another wet floor sign out and she acted like it wasn't her problem and didn't give a damn about people's safety.
