New to area so trying new Chinese places for take out. First had Hot and Sour soup and it was very very spicy, but it had a good portion of tofu in it. I had one from another Chinese restaurant a week ago and it was more medium spicy (my preference) and had mushrooms and more ingredients- which was better. Also ordered bourbon chicken, pork lo mein and fried rice (white rice comes with dish). The sauce on chicken was not great tasting...and the chicken was dry and hard to chew. I would not order again. As a comparison, the best bourbon chicken I have had comes from Chicken Kitchen but none are in Hollywood. I did not like the lo mein. This item can vary from different places but it just was not satisfying. Also, I like my noodles long and these were chopped shorter. The white rice and fried rice were fine. If one dish is off, it's not a big deal but when three items you paid for were not great.... I think we had tried this restaurant a few weeks ago and what we ordered at that time was ok. There are many Chinese restaurants in this area, so this may not be our favorite. When there is this much competition- you really have to be on your game!! read more

Quick dinner after kids football practice we decided to get food from here with Uber eats. We ordered 2 orders of wings with beef fried rice / shrimp rolls / chicken lo mein. When we got the delivery time to dish out we're missing the "fried rice" the cent of the whole meal. Call them up and the manager Dan took care of me. No questions asked he kindly asked me if I can pick it up because there restaurant does not do delivery. Food is very tasty and full of flavor. Close to New York Chinese food. Bourbon chicken, dry. Hot and sour soup is neither hot nor sour. Ribs on the bone have no flavor and the meat is dry. The sweet and sour chicken is bland. I am so disappointed. The place is not much to look at. It needs some TLC. Is not a place I would eat in. It's a little crowded. There is a big amount of boxes in a side that really doesn't look good to the eye. This is more like a take out place. The food is ok. I had the fried rice and for a dollar more I was able to add an egg. The rice was good not too oily with a good amount of the other stuff that fried rice has mixed in. I had there special soup. It was good. No oily residue on the soup. That is always a plus. It was just the way I liked it. I had also the sweet and sour chicken. It was good too. The same as other places I had. The portion size was good too. The place is not to friendly. Egg Rolls look to be store bought.... not made and rolled on premises.. I could be wrong, but having been a roller for many years, I know what a manufactured egg roll looks like.
