My husband and I have been on the hunt for a good Chinese restaurant for years. We live in Albertville and usually go all the way to Wayzata to the Jade Fountain for our oriental food fix. The other night, we checked online to find a closer location and came across this establishment. After suffering through many inferior buffets, we decided to bite the bullet and give this place a try. Lo and behold, it was fantastic!! We ordered Pepper Steak, Mongolian Beef, egg rolls and cream cheese puffs. All were very tasty, freshly cooked and the portions were huge. The beef was very tender and no gristle or fat anywhere to be found. The spices were just right. My husband always likes his food extra spicy and they were eager to comply. The lunch combo sounds like a great deal and we will try it in the future. They apparently do most of their business as takeout as we were the only couple dining in the night we were there. As we sat there, many people came and went as they picked up their takeout orders. The owner, Kim, was super friendly and she even took the time to speak with us about the business. They apparently took it over 11 months ago and have been at it ever since providing the best value and drumming up a clientele. We promised to write a favorable review, so that is what I've done. Went to China Kitchen because, well it was my only option close to my motel... But seriously, this place is Great!! Got sesame chicken and wontons...order was ready within minutes. And that's not the best part. The food is good!! And that's not the best part. You get lots of food! Like I could feed a small army with this food. We are from Buffalo MN and are so used to going to Chin Yuen in Monticello (one of our favorites) and moving out here was tough and we just couldn't seem to find Chinese at the same taste level until now!!! We were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of food in this small Chinese restaurant. Situated in the hotel zone of Rogers, the restaurant is convenient for all travelers booked in the many hotels of the area. The menu is plentiful and the food was delicious. All of the dishes were freshly cooked, spiced just right and the portions ordered were particularly generous. We ordered Chinese dumplings as an appetizer which were delicious. This course was followed by the dish called Chicken Two Ways; one half of the dish spicy and the other half replete with vegetables less spicy but still tasty. This was an Ok place for some quick Chinese food. Service was ok. Prices ok. Food was average. Tea was lipton.......not ok.

Just tried to order after ordering almost weekly. When I called I was told they were very busy, was I sure I wanted to place an order. After telling them that I didn't care how long the order would take, everything I ordered I was told they couldn't do because it would take so long. We wanted to try somewhere new (we live in Elk River), so we went to Rogers and tried this place. It's very, very good! The server was very friendly and helped us with our order by asking what we were in the mood for and his suggestions turned out to be awesome. I had the szechuan chicken and my husband had the sesame chicken and both were quite tasty. They even kicked up the spice for us, which was great. They have styrofoam plates and plastic silverware. When I ate lunch there, they had the sweet and sour sauce, but nothing to put it on. They were slow to refill the few items they had. I wish they would have egg foo young, but they don't. The pop and water are canned and bottled, so there is no refills. Probably will not go back there.
