They aren't a dine-in restaurant per se, simply take away with a few tables inside. We ordered over $120 of food and it was both accurate and steaming hot. Tastes varied on the differently prepared tofu. The egg drop soup was a complete miss- pure gel-like and not appealing. The egg rolls were tasty and rice was fresh. The broccoli and sauce was the best out of everything. We'd likely try again if in area.

Husband had Mongolian Beef and said it was good. Portion left him hungry. The forks they give you to eat with are ridiculous. Like toddler-size, cheap plastic, hard to hold and bend. I'd be willing to pay a quarter to use a real fork or a better quality disposable! Pork eggrolls and cream cheese wontons were very good and all food was nice and hot. Not much for ambience, a couple of tables with boxes stacked all over, really cold, couldn't take winter coat off to eat. Service was quick.

I also had 2 big dishes of their strawberry ice cream.

Review may actually be a 2.5 because of the lo mein…read more Had their pineapple fried rice with chicken and pork lo mein. Nothing on that fried rice was fried -- onions were raw, chicken looked and tasted boiled, little color on the rice. Very poor execution on something that should be your staple. Lo mein was decent. A little bland, but got better with soy sauce. Unlikely to return.

We returned to China Kitchen with the hopes of trying something different and redeeming the…read morerestaurant. Unfortunately, we were left disappointed. We split a pork lo mein, spicy pineapple fried rice, and cream cheese wontons. The portions were great - the containers were jam packed. The flavors really missed the mark. The lo mein needed some sort of punch in the sauce. It tasted like oily noodles - we ended up adding soy sauce to help. The real bummer was the fried rice. The onions were raw, the chicken looked boiled, and there was no flavor aside from the pineapple. We chose to eat the lo mein then doctored up the fried rice at home later to make it more enjoyable. My favorite part of the meal was the order of cream cheese wontons. They were crispy and a little sweet. We wanted to love this spot close to home but may venture out further in the future.

You scan the QR code at your table, order online, pay online and someone delivers all items (to your table) in takeout containers. Even with this updated experience, without "wait staff", everyone was helpful and attentive. The signature sticks, with the yum-yum sauce, has to be my personal favorite. You have to be so careful not to fill up on their delicious wontons and purple egg rolls (appetizers!) The restaurant and restrooms are clean and welcoming - nothing fancy, just what you would expect for small town dining! It looks like they host local musicians from time to time. The owner was working alongside his team and so friendly! He often treats his customers to his signature sweet wontons (secret flavors!) Our only complaint, and this comes paired with a picky eater. The description of their dishes doesn't necessarily disclose all vegetables/ingredients used. So, some surprises were had! It was delicious and a very minor complaint! We can't wait to visit again!

My history with this establishment is a masterclass in disappointment, a decade-spanning saga of…read moredishonesty that I feel compelled to share. It began years ago on a Mother's Day, a celebration with my entire family--my wife, our four kids, and my mother. While the rest of us ordered from the menu, my mother opted for the buffet. The meal itself was a preview of the incompetence to come: reheated food with that distinct microwave sogginess and a pervasive smell of harsh chemical cleaner that clung to the takeout containers we requested for leftovers. The most memorable moment was when my youngest, barely a year old, nibbled on one of my mother's buffet donuts, and the owner's son, about seven at the time, ran screaming toward the kitchen--a foreshadowing of the chaos this place inspires. The true spectacle arrived with the bill. Not only had they charged us for our menu items, but they had the audacity to charge all six of us, including the children, for the adult buffet. When questioned, the staff who had perfectly understood our complex order suddenly couldn't speak a word of English. We told them exactly what we thought of their scam by never returning. A decade later, my son, nostalgic for a childhood he's misremembered, begged to celebrate a chess victory there. Reluctantly, I agreed. While he was away from the table, the lady owner accosted me at the booth, demanding to know why we'd been absent for so long. I looked her dead in the eye and said, "It's prime supper time on a Friday night, and you have two customers. We told you we didn't like being ripped off; we told you with our feet." Now, with that son grown and moved out, I made the fatal mistake of giving them one final chance. Some things never change. The food was as mediocre as ever, but the audacity had been refined into an art form. I was billed for sixteen wontons and received a paltry four. When I called to rectify the mistake, the same delivery service they proudly advertise suddenly became unavailable. They can deliver your food, but they can never, ever deliver on their promises. A perfect record of failure spanning ten years is almost impressive. Save your money and your dignity; this is a place that sees customers not as guests, but as marks.
