This is the worst so called Chinese food I have ever eaten. They are not fooling anyone with their "fried rice" which is nothing more than white rice with soy sauce and undercooked onions. Truly disgusting. The egg rolls are mediocre, frozen rolls you can buy at any supermarket. Ditto on the sweet and sour chicken which is nothing more than frozen chicken nuggets tossed in bottled sweet and sour sauce. The menu of this place and their substandard quality underscores why the Yelp ratings are so poor. Never again. read more

We just moved to the area, and finding authentic Asian food is hard to come but we tried China Dragon as takeout and the lo mein was great, especially mixed in with the fried rice. My boyfriend got the chicken wings, which were good but we think they would be even better for dine in! This was the perfect meal after working on house projects all day, especially when it's cold outside! read more

This was my first time here, and this was take out. We ordered house egg fo young, house special fried rice, sweet and sour shrimp and 1 egg rolls. The food was hot, when we picked it up. Once we got to our destination, it was still hot. I made my plate and started eating. I was so disappointed to see soooo many carrots, and peas, in the egg fo young. Ewww yuck! I would've picked them out, but because it was so many, I decided not to eat any egg fo young. The Chinese rice was delicious, but they needed to add a little more shrimp in it. The egg rolls weren't that good. The large shrimp was god too. We may try it again. :-) read more

We came in on a Saturday night an hour from closed, but they did not allow dine in service. It was fine, but we kind of wanted to sit and eat. At first glance, it kind of looked like a hole in the wall, but the food was better than expected. Spicy chicken (special): Appearance: the chicken pieces were small, but they packed a punch. It did look like an overwhelming amount of onions. Taste: the chicken tasted good, and it was well cooked but the amount of onions overwhelmed the overall dish. It tasted more like an onion dish with chicken on the side. The small bite-size fried chicken are very tasty. 3.5/5 Pineapple, fried rice,(special): Appearance: the pineapple fried rice, looked like a traditional fried rice with large pineapple chunks. Taste: the pineapple fried rice tasted good enough to on the slightly above average side, but it lacked a something that I've had in other pineapple fried rices. I am not sure if it is the oil or if the rice was infused with pineapple juice. 3.5/5 Egg rolls: Appearance: the eggrolls are on the smaller side, so you may want to get more than two, which is one order. Taste,: The eggrolls had a nice crispy outer shell, but I really didn't taste the pork inside of it. It kind of tasted like a vegetable eggroll. 3/5 read more

I ordered takeout for my family. We have been coming here for the past 6 years. I have never had any issues at this place. The food is always hot. The wait is almost always 10 - 20 min. I have not eaten at many Chinese places, but I think this place gets the job done and it satisfies my family and I. The prices are always reasonable. It is usually around $20 for two people (we usually get a combination platter) I have never eaten inside. The inside is a little eh, but if you're looking for takeout and a good meal this is a great place! read more

Fresh, hot, decent sized portions, GREAT wontons, love the sesame chicken, always a solid choice to take out and dine in!

Amazing food, food came out fast got a bunch of food for $30 great portion sizes, was skeptical because of the 3 starts but I highly recommend coming here customer service was great read more

China Dragon - Chinese Near Me - Albertville, Minnesota

Food was excellent! Everything was very fresh and delivered faster than expected! There was a large amount of food for a reasonable price

TERRIBLE service. When we arrived we had to wait a considerable amount of time because the lady was busy watching Chinese soap operas in her laptop. SERIOUSLY. If it would not have been because we were starving and needed to throw something down asap we would have left right away. Two years later, the owner asked me to take down a picture I snapped of his staff on her laptop because it was embarrassing. Yes it is, maybe there's a lesson to be learned here? Food was mediocre at best. Stay away from this place. read more

This has been my family's go-to for years and still my favorite Chinese food. It makes me sad to see the negative reviews - I've had only great experiences. We typically order the food take out, and it is ready within 10-20 minutes. It is always hot and fresh. Szechuan chicken, hunan chicken, and cream cheese wontons are family favorites. read more

There food wasn't very good the wontons were cold and had absolutely no cream cheese, also it said they had a mongolian special on there sign as a food option and there wasn't one. read more

It is a great real Chinese restaurant. food was hot and fast and tasted great would definitely come back again

I was not impressed at all... I ordered the lunch combo plate - Sesame chicken, fried rice, & wontons. $6.20 isn't the greatest price, but I thought I'd try it, and It was just awful. The fried rice was hard, yellow, & flavorless - literally. I swear the chicken they used in the sesame chicken was just frozen battered chicken tossed in a sauce. It was edible but up until today, I didn't think a place could really mess up Sesame Chicken. Guess I was wrong. And the wontons were soggy in the middle and just dripping with grease. Really disappointing :( read more

Possibly the worst food I've had ever. I don't consider myself a picky eater, but this food was certainly hard to swallow. The food simply had no flavor. The beef was gummy and flavorless, the rice was mushy, and the sauce was coagulating in all the wrong ways. Nothing was fresh and there were no flavors. Service was fast but that's about the only positive experience I had in this restaurant. Would not recommend. read more

Overall I am disappointed. First of all when I tried calling this place someone asked to put me o hold which is no problem but then she hung up on me. Okay mistakes happen so I tried calling back. The line was busy for 5 minutes! I finally did get through and placed my order but they didn't give me a total they just said, "ok 10 minute" and hung up. Then when I went to get it they guy ahead of me had the hardest time communicating that he only wanted an order of white rice. When she finally understood with some help from the folks in back they told him they were out. Out of white rice? Lol omg. Then me. I got my food and I asked for some hot oil. They tried to charge me .50 for some hot oil which is some hot sauce in a little cup. Are you serious? I've ordered chinese from several places and that was a first. Driving home I was thinking of writing this and was going to let it slide if the food knocked my socks off. Fail! The food was average at best. I don't understand what others are are thinking because it's not all that. Hung thai down the road is 10 times better! Especially the pad thai! read more

I used to be a regular here. but the gal that used to run the till is no longer there, and the new one has ZERO people skills. very cold and rude. Unfortunatly, the food is slipping as well. I am earing the General Tsao's lunch special (my usual) and again it does not taste fresh anymore, and i bit into a chicken bone.. both in the chicken, and even in the fried rice. I hate to say it but this is probably my last trip there. a shame .. it used to be my favorite place. please fix what is broken. read more

This is our families favorite family owned restaurant. Always hot, always fresh. We order extra to have for work lunches through the week;)). read more

This place is a joke. Two people order the same thing, one gets all the chicken the other all the veggies... maybe the same meal should be separated the same so the customers are getting the same amount of stuff that they ordered. Plus it was terrible anyways...... rice was hard and undercooked.. geesh you would think rice can be cooked pretty easily... read more

Just like their Elk River location, China Dragon is my go-to when I'm feeling like Chinese food. You can't go wrong with anything off of the menu. Pricing is reasonable. Food is always fresh. Highly recommended! read more

Although I hear the food is good, there customer service is the worst! I did not try their food due to the horrible rude person that attempted to take my order! 1. if you are going to be in a business here, you should learn to speak better English as the people that you are servicing don't speak your language! This business will fail due to the rude service they will provide, I can get good food at another restaurant with out being humiliated by a rude person. read more

Not sure why the bad ratings. Great lunch specials and tastes good! Food is always hot and quick!

BEST Chinese Restaurant in Minnesota! Coming from the Golden Valley area during our youth and then moving to a small town, this food is AMAZING! Jasmine and Hubby really ROCK this place and they also own the one in Elk River as well. read more

Sub-par quality , the Veggies in the egg rolls were gojng bad tasted like it was a week old , cream cheese puffs were gritty and cold very weird combo and they forgot the white rice when I specifically asked if they heard me say white rice . WOULD NOT RECOMMEND read more

Great food, excellent lo mein. Wife thinks fried rice has too many onions, but I like it.

For the customer service I give this place 1 star due to how rude one of the lady staff member is. There food is good and would give it a 4 star. If you can handle the rudeness of the staff member, then their food is worth trying. read more

I called to place an order for our family, and the woman was rude, short, and arrogant. After talking down to me saying that they do not offer Chinese vegetables because no one likes them, adding in a very snide voice, "Do you know what Chinese vegetables are?" I told her to then give me regular vegetables. She then shortly mumbles, "10 minutes" and hung up on me. I promptly called back, canceling the order and telling her, "You cannot be rude to your customers; I do not like how you treated me." Her reply: " I have a customer standing here, and I did not hang up on you." Then, she again hung up on me. We would not have called China Dragon had Bo Bo's in Rogers been closed for the week. Now I have learned my lesson: no matter how much you are craving Chinese food, the restaurant does not deserve our money if it doesn't know how to treat its customers. read more

Not awful but man I don't think I would come back. Friendly front woman but the food does not taste fresh and you can tell the oil is pretty old too. Decent fried rice since it wasn't greasy but got some char taste to it. I ate the general tsos lunch special. Ekk, it just didn't seem fresh. Lots of chewy bits in the chicken. Very blah wontons. Zero vegetables. :\ read more

This food was beyond depressing. It tasted like no care went into its preparation. Absolutely terrible! Will never go back.

Perhaps the best Chinese food I've ever had. Everything on the menu is excellent; be sure to add an order of egg rolls or steamed dumplings with your entree. Staff is very friendly also. If you are in Albertville and like Chinese food you HAVE to stop at China Dragon!! read more

Mediocre food. TERRIBLE SERVICE. The server practically threw our food in our face. Super rude.

Lady at the front desk was yelling at cook after I gave her my order and waving a spatula in the air. The vegetables in my Lo Mein were not fresh and looked really gross. The Lo Mein was not that great at all in fact. Noodles were smaller than other Chinese, Chicken just tasted like it was soaked teriyaki. Why was there no sprouts? Why was the lettuce white-yellow? ALL OF IT? My Carrots weren't orange, they were more white-brown. This place was the worst. I always tip even if I pick up. I didn't this time. I also never write reviews, but I did this time. read more

We ordered our food over the phone, lady was very rude and was not any help when we had questions. When arriving the cashier was very impolite and got upset when I couldn't remember the phone number we put it under. Opening my food there was plastic pieces in my chicken, the food overall was poorly made little effort put into it and tasted like garbage basically. I will not be putting my money into this business again. read more

I Was charge more than what my actual bill was. Make sure to check your credit card statement because they give you a receipt for one amount and then they charge something else on your credit card . I had to go back to ask for a refund . I'm not going back there . read more

We love the food here. Everything we have had has been wonderful. The only thing I could complain about is the price. For four adults to have lunch or dinner here, we end up spending $50. Don't get me wrong, but the cost keeps us from enjoying their food more often. Would also be nice if they delivered. read more

The service is terrible, the lady at the front is super rude. I will never give this place my money again. The food isn't that good either
