This is the worst so called Chinese food I have ever eaten. They are not fooling anyone with their "fried rice" which is nothing more than white rice with soy sauce and undercooked onions. Truly disgusting. The egg rolls are mediocre, frozen rolls you can buy at any supermarket. Ditto on the sweet and sour chicken which is nothing more than frozen chicken nuggets tossed in bottled sweet and sour sauce. We just moved to the area, and finding authentic Asian food is hard to come but we tried China Dragon as takeout and the lo mein was great, especially mixed in with the fried rice. My boyfriend got the chicken wings, which were good but we think they would be even better for dine in! This was my first time here, and this was take out. We ordered house egg fo young, house special fried rice, sweet and sour shrimp and 1 egg rolls. The food was hot, when we picked it up. Once we got to our destination, it was still hot. I made my plate and started eating. I was so disappointed to see soooo many carrots, and peas, in the egg fo young. Ewww yuck! I would've picked them out, but because it was so many, I decided not to eat any egg fo young. The Chinese rice was delicious, but they needed to add a little more shrimp in it. We came in on a Saturday night an hour from closed, but they did not allow dine in service. It was fine, but we kind of wanted to sit and eat. At first glance, it kind of looked like a hole in the wall, but the food was better than expected. Spicy chicken (special): Appearance: the chicken pieces were small, but they packed a punch. It did look like an overwhelming amount of onions. Taste: the chicken tasted good, and it was well cooked but the amount of onions overwhelmed the overall dish. It tasted more like an onion dish with chicken on the side. The small bite-size fried chicken are very tasty. 3.5/5 Pineapple, fried rice,(special): Appearance: the pineapple fried rice, looked like a traditional fried rice with large pineapple chunks. Taste: the pineapple fried rice tasted good enough to on the slightly above average side, but it lacked a something that I've had in other pineapple fried rices. I am not sure if it is the oil or if the rice was infused with pineapple juice. 3.5/5 Egg rolls: Appearance: the eggrolls are on the smaller side, so you may want to get more than two, which is one order. I ordered takeout for my family. We have been coming here for the past 6 years. I have never had any issues at this place. The food is always hot. The wait is almost always 10 - 20 min. I have not eaten at many Chinese places, but I think this place gets the job done and it satisfies my family and I. The prices are always reasonable. It is usually around $20 for two people (we usually get a combination platter) I have never eaten inside. This has been my family's go-to for years and still my favorite Chinese food. It makes me sad to see the negative reviews - I've had only great experiences. I was not impressed at all... I ordered the lunch combo plate - Sesame chicken, fried rice, & wontons. $6.20 isn't the greatest price, but I thought I'd try it, and It was just awful. The fried rice was hard, yellow, & flavorless - literally. I swear the chicken they used in the sesame chicken was just frozen battered chicken tossed in a sauce. It was edible but up until today, I didn't think a place could really mess up Sesame Chicken. Guess I was wrong. And the wontons were soggy in the middle and just dripping with grease. Overall I am disappointed. First of all when I tried calling this place someone asked to put me o hold which is no problem but then she hung up on me. Okay mistakes happen so I tried calling back. The line was busy for 5 minutes! I finally did get through and placed my order but they didn't give me a total they just said, "ok 10 minute" and hung up. Then when I went to get it they guy ahead of me had the hardest time communicating that he only wanted an order of white rice. When she finally understood with some help from the folks in back they told him they were out. Out of white rice? Lol omg. Then me. I got my food and I asked for some hot oil. They tried to charge me .50 for some hot oil which is some hot sauce in a little cup. Are you serious? I've ordered chinese from several places and that was a first. I used to be a regular here. but the gal that used to run the till is no longer there, and the new one has ZERO people skills. very cold and rude. Unfortunatly, the food is slipping as well. I am earing the General Tsao's lunch special (my usual) and again it does not taste fresh anymore, and i bit into a chicken bone.. both in the chicken, and even in the fried rice. I called to place an order for our family, and the woman was rude, short, and arrogant. After talking down to me saying that they do not offer Chinese vegetables because no one likes them, adding in a very snide voice, "Do you know what Chinese vegetables are?" I told her to then give me regular vegetables. She then shortly mumbles, "10 minutes" and hung up on me. I promptly called back, canceling the order and telling her, "You cannot be rude to your customers; I do not like how you treated me." Her reply: " I have a customer standing here, and I did not hang up on you." Then, she again hung up on me. We would not have called China Dragon had Bo Bo's in Rogers been closed for the week. Lady at the front desk was yelling at cook after I gave her my order and waving a spatula in the air. The vegetables in my Lo Mein were not fresh and looked really gross. The Lo Mein was not that great at all in fact. Noodles were smaller than other Chinese, Chicken just tasted like it was soaked teriyaki. Why was there no sprouts? Why was the lettuce white-yellow?
