Great Asian food for the local area. Service was fast. Ambiance is clean and neat serving and eating area.

This is the first Chinese restaurant I've seen use parboiled rice to make fried rice.This was an abomination and takes away from fried rice in a terrible way.Anyone that doesn't know what parboiled rice is...par(sub,below) rice partially cooked in the husk so it is not easily over cooked when used.If one doesn't know how to not over cook rice don't try and run a Chinese restaurant. The food also lacked flavor.The sweet and sour chicken was over cooked and the cream cheese wontons were over fried.I'm not sure why we are just served anything.I guess being in this area I have to stick with what they do well or just plain okay. This is very average food. We eat here all the time purely because we are busy and like Chinese food and they are pretty fast. But it would seem this is the same food ordered from the same place all average Chinese food restaurants get their ingredients. The noodles are always over cooked. ( I love lo mein, I always hope it's going to be right and it's over cooked) *I usually love the cook on the veggies! But the sauces are bland and have no spark of an extra something. That thing that would or could take the dish to a level to be great. It's always Okay. Good if you're in a hurry and can't cook. The people here are GREAT! So kind. I LOVE the people of this restaurant and they should be supported on that alone. Another reason we use them so often. I would recommend! read more

This is an average Chinese restaurant. The only reason I say average is because I can't say I have ever been to a Chinese restaurant and the food tasted different then the last. On the other end the prices are very good and they are very quick. When ever we want Chinese take out we will continue to order from here. read more

The next time I am in Cokato visiting I'd like to try supper at this small Chinese restaurant on Hwy. 12 heading east on the edge of town. We tried this place at lunch. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The place is nice and clean. My rating of three is based on two standard Chinese restaurant dishes: pot stickers and General Tso's chicken. They were A-OK. The lunch menu does not have any where near the options available at the evening meal. The portions are smaller (based on pictures of the evening entrees that I saw) and very reasonably priced. The fortune cookies were fresh. It looks like they do a pretty brisk take out business (which I consider a good sign.) I will edit my review after eating there one evening. read more

Waited about 45 min for my food as a woman and her 12 kids came in after me and ordered the whole fucking menu like usually they got there food hot and fresh well I got cold ass food got back a noticed they forgot one of my items and I called back and the young person on the phone said I could come back and buy another one yeah like fuck I'm driving up there for rice never going there again would rather eat of my dogs food bowl read more

Poor customer service. I entered and told them my order # for pickup and waited just over 20 minutes for my food as they kept saying to me a few more minutes. I finally pressed them further and said I have been here a while and called in my order long before that--asking where my order is. I found out my food was ready and waiting when I walked in...sitting on the counter right next to the gal who told me it's not ready yet (all boxed up and getting cold) with my order # on it. For a time, I was the only person waiting. It seems to me like people there are poorly trained. I waited 20 minutes unnecessarily. I told them I was not happy and asked how this happens when I am standing right here. The owner gave me some vague lethargic excuse. Lack of customer service and training are very apparent in my opinion. Not to mention I discovered an item missing when I finally got home. I did not have good luck at lucky kitchen! read more

The Lucky Kitchen is a great take out Chinese restaurant. The food is wonderful. We usually order it spicy which you need to if you like spice. The location and seating is not that great. read more

We really enjoy the Lucky Kitchen . Their General Tso's chicken is excellent and so is their Kung Pao chicken. They will adjust their spices for the amount of heat you want for Szechuan etc. Their combos are my favorite. Very fair prices . Food is fresh because they are really hopping most nights . Wontons are made fresh too. Plenty of off street parking although the lot is gravel . Located right on Hwy 12. They do run on a very limited staff with only a few tables so I prefer take out on busy nights. read more
