Delicious! I created my own bowl with ahi tuna and spicy salmon. Good portions and price were reasonable.

Cuban Quesadilla: a unique play on the traditional Cuban sandwich. Although we love their tacos, it is not the only food they serve. They rotate their menu, but there are crab cakes, sandwiches, and other tacos! Keep an eye out for their food truck or check out their website for their list of events. You won't be disappointed.

As evidenced by the name, Tiki Tim's focuses mainly on island inspired cuisine (save for the fried pickles). Their menu is fairly modest in size, comprised of Tiki (shrimp and crab) cakes, fish tacos, a Hawaiian influenced pulled pork sandwich and a smattering of side dishes. While the choices are limited, they've all been quite good. The fish tacos are the highlight for me, with generous pieces of crispy and not-too-greasy fish, but you really can't wrong with anything (bring a knife and fork for the pork sandwich). The converted big blue Chevy is easy to spot on the streets, the service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. Given that we're about as far from the coasts as possible and a long haul from Hawaii, it's nice to see someone aspiring to bring the tropical mindset to the streets of the Twin Cities.

Simple counter service where they will bring food out to your table, this is an easy spot to go with kids or family. I got the chicken Katsu and Short ribs combo plate. It was a little pricey at nearly 25 bucks, but I will say it was enormous amount of food and ended up not finishing it. Could absolutely share with someone else and be very happy. The chicken katsu was nice and crisp on the outside without being overcooked, and the honey mustard/katsu sauces paired perfectly with the salty breading. The short ribs were the star of the show, sweet and tangy, absolutely the type of meat you crave until you go back. I am very much looking forward to returning next time I need to go to United Noodle for groceries, and maybe even before that.

Everything was very flavorful and tasted fresh. The only thing I didn't like was that a lot of the tables needed to be wiped down, and there weren't even many people in the restaurant at the time. But once I mentioned it, she came right out and cleaned the tables off, so I appreciated that. Overall it was a great experience and we'll definitely be back.
