We came to R Social on Main primarily to check out the rooftop patio, and it was definitely worth the visit! It's a huge, beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere, lots of seating, a spacious bar, and friendly staff. The rooftop patio is a really nice option, especially since there aren't a ton of rooftop dining options in the northwest Twin Cities. The views aren't spectacular--mostly overlooking parts of Rogers and the surrounding area--but it's still a great space to enjoy a meal and a drink outdoors. I ordered the Blackberry Peach & Steak salad, which sounded delicious with grilled peaches, blackberries, ricotta, hot honey, and balsamic vinaigrette. The salad itself tasted great, but I was a little disappointed with the peaches. They were listed as grilled peaches, but they seemed to be served cold and didn't have that warm, caramelized, slightly smoky flavor I was expecting from grilled peaches. That was the part of the dish I was most excited about, so it was a little underwhelming. That said, overall we really enjoyed R Social. The restaurant has a fun, lively vibe, the space is beautiful, and the rooftop is a great addition. I'd definitely come back and try some of the other things on the menu! read more

We've had wonderful experiences at R Social On Main, the vibe, drinks, and general atmosphere on Main Street are all good. However, I did want to mention the poke bowl. While the ingredients were seemed fresh, the flavor profile and presentation felt a bit simplistic, reminiscent of something pre-made you might pick up at a specialty grocery store rather than an in-house scratch-kitchen creation. Everything else we've enjoyed here has been good, so we'll definitely be back. I'll just be trying other items on the menu next time! Tonight's experience was less then desirable, the flies were incredibly bad inside of the restaurant. A couple next to us ordered nachos all the while they waited they swatted flies and promptly asked for a go box to take their order to go. We've been meaning to visit this local spot since it opened nearly two years ago. We finally tried it over Labor Day and were wildly impressed! Happy Hour Sangria - refreshing while being rich and flavorful, transported me back to Madrid Chips and Salsa - finely blended salsa and thick chips, the salsa had a bit of an odd flavor in my opinion but it didn't deter us Watermelon and Feta Salad - this salad was MASSIVE. It had the perfect combination of flavors and textures. The watermelon was crunchy and sweet while the feta and honey vinaigrette added just the right acidity. The salmon rounded out the whole salad. Got the recommendation from my son's girlfriend to try out the R Social. We had a party of 5. We had four different meals and an appetizer. We had the Big Shrimpin' which came with 5 shrimp in a Asian wrap and Boom Boom sauce. They were delicious. They have a good list of draft beers and drinks at okay prices. I had the lobster grilled cheese with a side of brussel sprouts without the bacon (pescetarian), both very good. Two of the others had Chicken and Waffles, Thai Peanut Wrap and the Tennesse Mac and Cheese. All were very good. Some of the meals were upgraded to fries and they were also very good. Our waitperson was fantastic, super friendly and efficient. The ambiance was very welcoming and cozy. They have an outside area that was closed due to the weather but looks very inviting. Ordered out here for a board game day and had my friend get me the Beyond burger with lettuce and tomato. The patty was cooked like regular meat and was a little charred and very tasty. The bun was clearly brushed with butter so not suitable for vegans (hard to ask these things when it's not me ordering). Coworker/friend and I hit up R Social on the way out to an event in St. Michael. Thank goodness St. Michael is lacking restaurant options. Otherwise, we would not have agreed upon this place. I'm familiar with the OG Rogers Main Street (late 80s- early 2000s; Happy Chef, Stevens SuperValue, Thrifty Pharmacy). I'm so happy to see it being revitalized! This place is so popular that even with a parking lot in the rear, it was tricky finding a spot. We walked in the back door and made our way through the back bar area, up some stairs and to the front hostess stand. We didn't have reservations, and it was a 45-minute wait. Somehow, we were lucky enough that 2 spots had just opened at the front bar. The bartenders were great with questions we had regarding beers on tap and the menu. I am a cider girl and love Downeast. Saw it on tap and knew that was the one. My first sip I noticed it had a maple undertone. It's different, but still good. I ordered the Chorizo Beer Cheese Soup. It was a chilly January day and hit the spot. I also ordered the birria poutine because, ummm.... BIRRIA!! Both were delicious. Fun fact: another couple sat down next to us. In the middle of a conversation with my friend, I heard the man ask the bartender what we were eating. He and his wife ordered the exact same thing, and they approved of both items as well. Although I did notice that it now only comes with 2 chicken tenders vs the 3 it used to come with at the same price. My husband branched out and tried the Birria Crunch Wrap, and he was raving about it, saying it's going to be his new tried and true order. There are also pull tabs near the back bar for those that like to partake. We were there on a quieter night so our waitress was also working the bar. She was super great and attentive and offered a bunch of suggestions! However, I was left wanting more from the food and drinks. The Wall Street sandwich was a little light on pastrami even though it was described to be "piled high" and the birria tacos were too salty for me. In addition the margarita was very sweet. They also have a nice beer list so we got a few of those as well! THE PRETZEL, I've been searching for places that still do a tasty giant pretzel and boy she was THICCC. I would come back here any day for just the pretzel and a beer! The burgers were as good as they look and the potato salad was delicious (more of a vinegar and dill based). We visited on a Monday. (5/18/26) It seemed that maybe the place was half full. The service was not good. it took a while just to get our drink orders, a soda and a water. Once they were delivered it then took a while for our server to come back to take our order. it took 30+ minutes to get our food. The cheddar grits were barely warm. I've heard this place always has a wait, but we went on a Thursday around 5pm. The restaurant itself is actually gorgeous with tons of room. The indoor dining area is very spacious and I love the ceiling. Then have a couple bar areas, one is located downstairs along with a couple games and pull tabs. I was definitely disappointed, it wasn't great gin that was used, the tonic was kinda flat and it tasted more like a splash of cranberry in it than blood orange. Wouldn't order that again. But for $4 might be worth it for other people, but just wasn't for me. Our server was so attentive and kind. Always checking in without being overbearing. Refilled our waters often. Checked this place out with some friends on a Friday night. Quoted at a 90 min wait, but got a table in less than 30 min. They were packed, so the service was slow. Excellent line up of cocktails and some nice mocktail options, which my pregnant friend appreciated. We ordered the $30 burger and I would go back for it in a heartbeat, it was absolutely delicious!!
