Si Senor has become our go to place. We are usually there. They know us by name. The music is traditional, and the place is welcoming; not to mention the staff. My opinion...you will be satisfied with just about anything you order. I recommend the shrimp ceviche with mango. Try the burrito with the red, green, and cheese sauce. The dulce de leche cake is an awesome dessert. If you prefer birria, or al pastor, then you are in the right place. We have tried just about the entire menu, and haven't really had a bad experience. This was our 2nd time here and I'm glad it's been added to the area for variety but the food is just average. The salsa with the chips is almost spaghetti tasting. We sat at the bar and bartender also worked door so not as attentive as normal. The Prosecco Rita was the champion and a hit! We'll give it another try and hope for more flavor next time. read more

We saw the construction start and the sign go up for this place we were super excited that a new Mexican place opened up. Today, we finally got to go inside for the first time to try them out. Everything inside is brand new. I love how the decor is very traditional and how each table has a printed design on the table tops as well as their logo engraved on the walls of their booth. The Spanish music in the background really helped set the tone for their ambiance. Our waiter was very attentive and kind. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. My husband ordered their Pollo con crema and I ordered their lunch steak fajitas. The food was good, curved to appeal to more of the American population. Salsa on the sweet side versus with a kick. Although, I did try my husband's Pollo con crema dish and it had some spiciness to it. I just wish that my steak fajitas had more flavor. Overall, a good experience. I know that they have another location in Otsego. I haven't been there yet. With anything new there needs to be grace in the transition time and an ironing out of kinks, and getting the quality where they truly want it. I am rooting for your success "Si Señor!" read more

We waited about 15 minutes during dinner time to get a table. Not bad. We were seated and waited another 15 minutes before a waiter asked if we had been served. Our waiter was good with brining us drinks chips and telling us that our food was coming. It took over an hour for our food to come out. There were 3 of us. 2 dinners came out, then 20 minutes for the next and our French fries came out as we were leaving. We declined them and asked they be taken off our bill. The ground beef was swimming in grease. We had tacos and taco salad and I had to stop eating mine because of the grease which would upset my stomach. The refried beans were extremely dry like they had a crust on them which were weird. The chips were different, really flaky which is odd for tortilla chips. They have been open for 3 weeks and should have this figured out by now. Either they need more kitchen staff or a bigger kitchen and a way to make sure a tables tickets come out at the same time. It was ridiculous we were served our meals at different times. We won't be back. This is no different than any other Mexican restaurant here - pretty terrible. My cousins are from Mexico and would have been embarrassed by this. read more

First, the food was delicious and there was plenty. Neither my wife nor I could finish. The ambience is nice, and the dining area is clean. At one point a lady near us accidentally spilled chips and someone was cleaning up the spill immediately. In fact, the waiters and table servers, and busboys, and hosts are a constant flurry of activity. They hustle. Which is odd... because the service was quite slow (we waited an hour for our dinner). Went back a few weeks later and things are starting to slip, food took an hour for my wife and I sitting at the bar for dinner. Bartender doesn't watch your cocktail glass for fresh bumps, tough to get their attention for more margaritas and chips & salsa. We will give it one more try down the road. Excited to try the new restaurant in town but had a horrible experience. Waiter took half the tables drink orders , waited a half hour to put our orders in, and it took another hour before our food got to the table (and it was cold when it finally arrived). One of the orders was missing so we had to wait for that also. When the bill came , they took off one of the meals and a couple drinks. They have been opened for a few months now. Seems they haven't figured it out yet. Dip trio was good. Service was slow. Had to ask multiple times for more chips and drinks. Atmosphere was low key and quiet. Price was somewhat high compared to the other establishments in the towns to the east and west. Overall OK experience. I prefer Monticello's options. read more

My husband had me try his Taco trio, which had so much flavor with all the toppings you can add-- the salsa Verde really had a kick, and the shell was nice and soft. I loved the Pollo Tapatio..chicken, shrimp, peppers with creamy cheese and rice and beans.. so good! A different day I tried the Enchiladas--which were very cheesy and I saved half. We finally went after waiting a few months for the insane amount of cars always in the parking lot to slow down, and showed up around 730 for dinner. I was super excited as I had been ogling the menu since they announced they were coming. There were four other tables that had people in the dining area, two of which already had food. It took about 10 minutes for the waiter to show up, we ordered the giant Champagne Rita. About 10 minutes later, we had two waters appear at our table, and 10 minutes after that our drink appeared (delivered by the bar). Our waiter did not appear again to take our food order until we were about halfway done with our huge fishbowl of a margarita. We placed the food order, an appetizer and two entrees, and at this point (out of morbid curiosity) I started watching the clock as it was now almost an hour since we had arrived. We got the "appetizer" (a teeny tiny cup of queso that looked like they had microwaved some white velvetta and let it sit for awhile) at 8:45pm. At 9:30pm, as we were now one of only two tables left and the only ones without food, I managed to flag down our waiter (who had only checked on us three times in the 2 hours we had been sitting down) and asked if our food would be ready any time soon. He said the kitchen had not gotten to it yet. At that point, flabbergasted, we told him to cancel the order and bring the bill. 0 stars for service, 0 stars for food, 5 stars for that delicious margarita. Average out to 2 I guess. We waited 15 minutes for a seat (not bad) BUT Drinks took 15 minutes for two Margaritas, one Michelada, and one mixed drink. Food took OVER 45 MINUTES! When the food came out everything was wrong besides one plate. 4 drinks and 4 entrees was 120 dollars. Do not come to this restaurant if you want good service and good food, neither of them were anywhere near "good". We got checked in on once the entire time we were there and the food was EXTREMELY over salted. I want to preface this by saying that we got $180 worth of items. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately it's just another flavorless Mexican restaurant around here. On top of the lack of flavor of the dishes, the chips were so stale that they were chewy. When calling the order in, the person taking the order was clearly unfamiliar with the items on the menu. When we picked the order up, they forgot one of our items. When I called to follow up, they said they could only do a gift card or they'd "have to call the credit card company to get it credited back".... kind of a pain when you don't want to come back or wait multiple days to get a refund. The one we had was caked with solid salt and discolored under the lid from liquid - likely wiping down with wet cloth. Fajita meat not cut up, lots of fat on the steak, fajita skillet dripping with grease, although the meat had good taste. Host/hostess not very customer focused. Waiter place drinks far from intended diner. Napkin that wrapped our silverware had a green "goober" or something else gross. Food Server's oven mitts dirty.
