    Steak Fajitas

We saw the construction start and the sign go up for this place we were super excited that a new Mexican place opened up. Today, we finally got to go inside for the first time to try them out. Everything inside is brand new. I love how the decor is very traditional and how each table has a printed design on the table tops as well as their logo engraved on the walls of their booth. The Spanish music in the background really helped set the tone for their ambiance. Our waiter was very attentive and kind. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. My husband ordered their Pollo con crema and I ordered their lunch steak fajitas. The food was good, curved to appeal to more of the American population. Salsa on the sweet side versus with a kick. Although, I did try my husband's Pollo con crema dish and it had some spiciness to it. I just wish that my steak fajitas had more flavor. Overall, a good experience. I know that they have another location in Otsego. I haven't been there yet. With anything new there needs to be grace in the transition time and an ironing out of kinks, and getting the quality where they truly want it. I am rooting for your success "Si Señor!"

First, the food was delicious and there was plenty. Neither my wife nor I could finish. The ambience is nice, and the dining area is clean. At one point a lady near us accidentally spilled chips and someone was cleaning up the spill immediately. In fact, the waiters and table servers, and busboys, and hosts are a constant flurry of activity. They hustle. Which is odd... because the service was quite slow (we waited an hour for our dinner). Chalking it up to this being brand new. Will be back after they have the chance to get into their groove.

We came here for lunch and the food was great! The service was fast, the margaritas were fantastic. Our waiter suggested the birria tacos and they were fantastic. My cousin got the carne asada and it was amazing! The servings were huge and we left with leftovers. We will be back.

I got the Enchiladas (3 different kinds)..very good and cheesy--but I had to save half! My husband got the taco trio! We were very happy

Love all the food and staff! Queso and Guac are amazing. I love the Patron Margarita, as well.

Service is not great. Server never checked on us after we got our food. Food was flavorless. We won't be back for a while.

The staff, too, is actually Mexican. I had a very nice conversation with the waitress about our roots and all. Anyway, let's talk food and drinks here. We began with drinks, all of us choosing beer and/or margaritas. Let me tell you that if you get beer on draft like I did that the glass is huge. ¡Están sí son chelas! Translation: These yes are beers! Drinks aside, they bring you complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa actually has a nice flavor, maybe even a hint of a kick to it. Despite this, we started with chips and guacamole and what a hearty portion. Guacamole was fresh and filling. For our main dishes, a cheese enchilada was had, as well as carne asada. The last two of us (including myself in this boat given prior comment) ordered tacos. Carne asada tacos specifically. Everything was legitimately delish. Very happy we wound up at El Huichol, which I later learned is an indigenous group of people from Mexico. Go figure... my Chicano self needs to get more educated on stuff as clearly I don't know much, haha.

Honestly never would have stumbled across this place if it wasn't for the fact that the buffalo DMV…read morehad been moved here and Google was incorrect, not to mention the driving evaluator told me they have some amazing margaritas - and they weren't wrong! Along with having one of their slushy machine margaritas while waiting for my son to take his driving test, I had their chips and salsa and was able to sample their spicy and their avocado Verde salsa - both were amazing! After my son passed his driver's test we celebrated with more chips + salsa and a chicken and asada taco each. The waitress (who lived in Apple Valley and we chatted about being from Rosemount) told me they made their corn tortillas in house, and they were definitely the best I've ever tried: soft like a flower tortilla but still the rich flavor of corn. I'm not a cilantro fan but it was just perfectly diced and their red onions on top along with the salsa verde were absolutely heavenly. Certainly an unexpected stop to a lovely establishment with great service, and if travels ever take me back to Buffalo I'll definitely stop back by!
