We have eaten here for years. Tonight our food delivered was awful! I called the store - hung up on the First time. Called back asked for a manager. She said she was one- told her I was disappointed in the food - was not looking for free anything just was confused why it was not the normal food- was told to never return again. Whenever I'm in towns outside the metro I hunt for a new non-chain place to eat. I ran in here before a hockey game in Buffalo and wasn't disappointed. Great service and my food came fast. Super reasonably priced too. Authentic Mexican food and ambiance. I had the chicken enchiladas a la carte (I enjoy this option so I don't waste the beans and rice). First off - free chips and salsa were delish (fresh tasty salsa and warm chips). My enchilada was good - huge perk if you like spicy is that when you ask for a side of jalapeños they come diced (small touch, but much appreciated over a few sliced rounds). We stopped here for lunch last weekend while in Buffalo and really enjoyed it. We ordered El Puerco Coqueton, Enchiladas Cachetonas, and Taco Salad Fajita. El Puerco Coqueton is a grilled pork dish with a green salsa served in a half pineapple and the Enchiladas Cachetonas are cheese enchiladas with a similarly prepared shredded pork. Their food will make you sick. I heard this before eating there but figured what are the chances I'll get sick, well pretty darn good it turns out. Half way home and the race was on. We made it home before I ruined the interior of my nephews Escalade. I called them and the Spanish speaking fellow acted as though he couldn't understand what my complaint was. He eventually told me to call back when management was there. I offered my number but he said manager won't bother to call me back and that I needed to call them , which I did. We went there for lunch a couple of weeks ago. The "host/server" nodded to us to find a seat. We had to grab our own menus. Someone came around later to take our order. Once we got our Margaritas which were about the most watered down margaritas we had ever had, the meals arrived about 15 minutes later. No interaction with staff. Meals arrived and there was a long hair in mine. Nice....plus we had to find our own silverware. No one came to check on us. They comped my meal, but, I will never be back. When I have to find my own seat, menu and silverware, plus getting an unwelcome add to my order really turned us off ever coming back. read more

Went last Sunday for lunch, very unique menu and the most incredible service I think we have ever experienced. Oh, and the food? I had the half pineapple filled with yummy chicken, shrimp, grilled pineapple and peppers and spices so memorable I am leaving this review on Thursday. The shrimp was tender and fresh, the chicken seasoned perfectly and shredded, as it should be. He enjoyed the beef enchiladas and would order them again. I usually have to drag my husband to a Mexican restaurant. Perhaps not anymore. Also, I recommend the classic margarita, medium sized. Yummy and the perfect compliment to our meal. This little restaurant is hidden in the little town of Buffalo, and I think EVERYONE should know about it! I always hated going to Mexican restaurants in MN because they were far from authentic! You can always tell right away if the restaurant is good based on their salsa.. and this salsa was BOMB! Very authentic food with great tastes, service and drinks! They have all the classics like chimichangas, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, fajitas and much much more, and they all have a little unique twist on them! I ordered a basic chimichanga with pork, and my oh my it was delicious! So simple but so good! Good solid Mexican food. The happy hour is seven days a week! And Mexican beers are like $2.75 a bottle. The queso with cheese is nice with lots of chorizo. The manager was so nice do to covid 19 we were greeted outside he took our orders fast and we received food fast I had three taco alacarte and refried bean ( my beans were forgot ) the rice was seasoned well . I tried my husband refried beans they were tasty the salsa was awful very tomato flavor no spice all you could taste was tomato . The food here is delicious....their chips are warm and crispy...salsa is perfect...I had the Los Pipitillios with mole sauce instead of red sauce and the pork was tender and perfectly spiced! My son had the soft taco trio, the tacos were plentiful with deliciously spiced tender meat. The beans are delicious...perfect for dipping your chips into. Their top shelf margarita was yummy as well. I've spent a great deal of time in Mexico and born in California where authentic Mexican food is the norm...this place compares and then some! Not your average Mexican Food! Been here several times and haven't been disappointed. Good tacos al pastor are hard to find. Not the case here! Service has always been great with prompt seating and attentive staff. Their tortilla chips are thick and crispy with good corn flavor. The salsa is thin and not chunky with small bits of cilantro and onion. Highly recommend mixing in some of the Tapatio hot sauce. Most recently I had ground beef chimichangas. Flour tortillas with spicy, savory beef lightly fried. They weren't deep fried like I have had elsewhere and it's amazing! Nothing greasy here! Refried beans are creamy and spicy and their rice is good too. The other entree was similar to a burrito bowl and had amazing shrimp, chicken, rice and cheese. So tender and creamy!
