Taste the same as all other Chinese places, but a lot more expensive and they don't take credit cards.

I had my usual tofu with veggies. The portion was big, sauce was nice and garlicky with a good variety of veggies and ,surprisingly, fresh tofu instead of the usual frozen/fried you see in most places. The tables and ordering area were nice and clean. Food came out quickly.

I don't normally feel a need to write reviews for these kinds of places, but the lady at the cashier (one of the owners?) was so nice and friendly that I want to support her. Maybe knowing that I might have expectations for Chinese food, she was careful to let know what might taste more characteristically Chinese or not, like the spicy tofu being more sweet than mapo tofu spicy because it uses the orange chicken sauce. Dumplings were good but definitely Americanized, with the wrapping really thick. Good for traveling and reheating though, as the dough is unlikely to disintegrate. The sauce was a surprising bonus--it is actually very Chinese, with ginger and scallions added to the soy sauce.

Phenomenal food!…read more We're in Syracuse for a conference, and didn't want to spend a fortune for mediocre food at the conference hotel, so we set out to find a good local spot via Yelp. Su Su Dim Sum came up at the top of the list, so off we went. I ordered a small (pint) of hot and sour soup and lamb with scallions. My wife ordered tangerine beef, and then we ordered red bean paste steamed buns to go for breakfast tomorrow. The soup was thick, full of chunks of tofu, plenty of vegetables, a little less peppery and a little less pungent than we like, but still better than typical Chinese restaurant fare. A bowlful of fried noodles came on the side. A great start! My wife, a veterinarian, suspected that the lamb was actually beef, but that question aside, the lamb dish was delicious, with plenty of meat, chunks of bell pepper, and abundant scallions, in a delicious sauce. The star of the night was the tangerine beef, lightly breaded and perfectly fried, in a savory and slightly sour sauce. A few broccoli florets, a handful of tangerine segments, and a wonderful thick sauce completed the dish perfectly. We packed up the leftovers, collected the steamed buns, and headed back to the hotel. We grabbed some menus to give to fellow conference attendees when they ask where we went out to dinner.

We love dim sum so we looked up the local places that served it & found Su Su. The space is simple & I believe it may have once been a diner at one point in time. The staff tried their best as there were a fair amount of to-go orders & walk-ins. (As I said it was Valentine's Day) We decided to order a few different things. Each one was excellent. The flavors & temperature of each item were fantastic. I really enjoyed the pineapple fried rice. We'll certainly be going back to try a few more things!

The food was edible and we dined in the restaurant so our order was delivered to us pipin hot. Would love to say that the quality matched the temp but it was only meh for us. The most off-putting part of the experience was the young woman tasked with working the front counter. She was as unfriendly as one can be while cloaking the attitude in professional coolness. Her voice was abrasively loud and sharp and she took no prisoners - who needs that to whet their appetite? Plenty of other koi in the sea.

The staff is nice and the food is done quickly (10 min for us). A solid choice for dinner in Bainbridge. The pricing is cheap but the food is also pretty mid. It does the job. This time we got the General Tsos chicken, the Sesame Chicken, and the Cheese Wontons. The wontons are pretty good, but the breading without cheese in it often becomes over-done and chewy. We are also pretty sure the two main dishes are the same, but one doesn't have Sesame. None of the food tastes great reheated the next day, so I suggest ordering just what you'll eat for your meal.
