Few days ago: 1/2 fried rice 1/2 chow mein, pork ribs & chicken wings
Mango 2.

One of the best places for authentic Chinese food! --- their food tasted like my grandma's & mother's cooking! Especially the chicken wings in soy sauce with chili flakes & the soy sauced pork ribs! I'm a picky eater and it's not easy to impress me.. But, this place is IMPRESSIVE!! Their beef and broccoli, orange chicken (especially when it just freshly came out from the kitchen) was SOOOO GOOOOD!! They don't cook in big batch of food, but in small batches! Which is great.. the food stays fresh and not sitting for long then probably get wasted if by closing time they weren't sold out. So.. sometimes, you might need to wait for the fresh portion to be cooked. The Lao Ban (boss) and the server/cashier; Ms. Wing (I think that's her name) were always so welcoming and friendly . They offered to cook me a fresh batch of the items I wanted. But... I like my food well done and overcooked so... I know,.. I'm a bit different LOL But I like their food!! I've been there many times in these few weeks only. Highly recommended to others

Is so good

First thing I will die for this Chinese food place I been going here since I was 6 and this place never disappoints my taste buds there are amazing service and makes me feel welcomed I honestly never had better Chinese food in my life and when I ever feel sad I know this place will be there for me if anyone sees this wanting to try a new place trust me this place will not disappoint

Best hood Chinese food in the 91406, the menus are faded and a Chinese kid is doing homework in the back! The food is legit tasty and they cram as much as they can in the styrofoam containers! Service is friendly and ambience is hoodtastic!

Best ! Best ! Best ever! I love Asian food and I'm also ac tech , and every day I have many miles to different areas from Ontario to Santa Monica , I've eaten at hundreds of cafes for lunch . This is the best Chinese place ) everything is fresh, delicious and the price is great. Won ton soup is the best in the county). Looks like a family run Local business , the service and friendliness of the staff is excellent !

Chow mein, teriyaki chicken, potato chicken

A classic fast food Chinese food that gives you heaps of food in a small box for a great price. My go-to is usually chow mein, teriyaki chicken, and chicken wings. Today I got potato chicken instead of chicken wings because I didn't feel like eating with my fingers. Today plus, the lady in front of me got like five orders, so I was like, dang, this must be good, which it was. I don't know why everyone keeps saying this place is ghetto. It's in a supermarket shopping center... Plus, you don't get places like this in boujiee areas. Pro: You don't have to wait long. Food is constantly being made, so it's fresh and hot. Con: Chow mein is a little bland. Tip: They have stamp cards. Buy 8, get a 2 item combo for free.

This little spot gets 4/5 stars for me for many reason: 1. Prices are super reasonable and pretty fixed 2. The food never disappoints. I prefer this spot over Panda Express or any of that pix up sticks crap. 3. It's less than a mile from my home 4. The employees always make me feel welcomed 5. SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS! 6. They accept credit cards 7. They always have my favorite Snapple flavor handy, Snapple apple!

Teriyaki chicken (should be well done, not raw) look at edges of chicken.

This place makes a good teriyaki chicken but sometimes is so RAW that WILL SEND you to the emergency room! Just beware, I have told the owner but they don't give a shhhht!!

This review is only regarding the posted hours versus what I experienced upon arrival…read more I had a long day at work and was really looking forward to treating myself to what's rated as the best Chinese food in the area. I even drove a bit out of my way to come here, only to find a "closed" sign on the door. I truly hope everything is okay with the owners and staff, but it was disappointing that there wasn't any notice or backup plan for unexpected closures. From what I could see through the window, the restaurant looked very clean and well-kept. I'll definitely want to try again another time but will certainly call first!!!!

It is not Frankensteins intention to be negative here today. But wholly Yelp hype Batman! Yes,…read moreFrankenstein can buy into a good hype every so often which the Bride of Frankenstein enjoys pointing out. Especially when Frankenstein is wrong. Frankenstein enjoys braised beef noodle soup. A lot. Frankenstein's heart was yanked out of his huge body and crushed when Mandarin Deli went out of business during Covid. A pain he still feels even today. They had the best Braised Beef Noodle Soup ever! Frankenstein went hook, line, and sinker when he read the Yelp hype about this place. Bottom line, nice people, not as awesome as was described. Braised Beef Noodle Soup- Sorry Noodles Kitchen but it's too chili hot. About a 8.5 to 9 on Frankensteins too hot scale. Beef was okay, not great. Noodles were good. Bride of Frankenstein had one taste and pushed it away. "Mucho Caliente" Orange Chicken, fine. Let's not go overboard everyone. Pan Fried Dumplings, good. Check it out for yourself. 10/11/2025 Update- It saddens Frankenstein to see so many fake reviews over and over again. Really Noodles Kitchen? Please.

Upon entry there is a takeout area where you can order hot meat dishes and to go menu or dine in. We got complimentary hot tea when seated. The interior is a bit dated compared with other restaurants of this type but the food was delicious. We got duck and preserved egg porridge, scrambled egg with shrimp, and a two bbq combo plate of char siu and roast pork. The porridge came out fast and delicious! We ate with the chili and white paper available at the table. Next came the scrambled egg and shrimp. We actually ordered the version with rice, not the entree so the servers got us some rice but missing the gravy. Lastly came the bbq combo plate. We thought it would arrive first since the meats were all ready to go in the takeout area. It came with some hoisin sauce. The char siu was tasty. The roast pork however was not as crispy and kinda mealy so the sauce helped.

Sam Woo is the only authentic Cantonese spot in the valley my family has found so far…read more Even though they're known for their bbq meats, I would stay away from them as the ones we tried this time and in the past were pretty meh. Stick with ordering dishes off their menu instead. It's next to a Ranch, so there's plenty of parking available. We came by for lunch on Saturday around noon, and it was mostly filled up. It's not a big restaurant, and tables are placed pretty close to each other. That's how you know the place is going to be authentic lol They have a takeout area where you can get various bbq meats and some hot deli foods, but they also have a large menu you can order from. The four of us ordered the following dishes to try: #2 two item BBQ with roast pork and roast duck ($19.95 + $2 for roast pork) #78 chicken and veggie chow mein ($15.95) #85 beef chow fun ($16.95) #129 sauteed fish fillet ($18.95) #138 fresh squid in oyster sauce ($17.95) My favorite dish by far was the beef chow fun, which came as a huge platter and had really good wok hei flavor. The other noodle dish, the chow mein, was also good with huge portions. The fish and squid were both okay, but portions were small for the price, and to be honest, they were pretty similar down to the veggies used. We probably could've just ordered one. The most underwhelming was the bbq. The duck tasted okay but the cut they gave us was mostly bone and didn't have much meat. The roast pork was way too juicy and the skin, which is usually my favorite part due to the crisp, was tough and hard to chew.

Unfortunately, this is one of the worst tasting Chinese restaurants I have ever been to. I can't even understand how it was so crowded. Maybe it's the low prices. The hot and sour soup was OK, but tasted a little weird compared to what I'm used to it other places. The eggroll was fine, typical greasy eggroll. The Kung pow chicken was just bizarre. It was covered in a sweet sauce and was all dark meat so it was very chewy and fatty and skin and to me was just gross. This is one of the first times where I just stopped eating halfway through and left because I didn't feel like finishing my meal because it was so disgusting. At least to me. I don't think my Kung pow chicken should be so sweet. I didn't order orange chicken or sweet-and-sour chicken, but maybe those would have been better? I don't know. All I know is I didn't even finish my meal because the food was not edible to me. Service was fine, the guy was very busy so I never got refills and the food came fast. I'm not coming back here ever again. It was just not even worth the $15 I spent for lunch and I left with a seriously bad taste in my mouth. Not recommended one bit.
