Westfield Fashion Square Sherman Oaks, CA The newest addition to the food court. It looks inviting, and the menu pictures are great too. You order at the register then they give you a tag, look for a place to sit and wait for the buzzer go off. My daughter and I decided to try this out for an early dinner. There was no line which is cool. They don't give cups for water. I ordered the Fried Rice Chicken Bowl. It looks so good on the picture menu but when it came - it wasn't near it. There was much less chicken in it. It filled me up though. And the taste is different from the usual fried rice that I tried. There fried rice and the meal is kind of elevated. My daughter ordered the Xia Long Bao and Sautéed String Beans. She liked them and wouldn't mind ordering them again. Food prices are the going rate at the food court. Food court wasn't busy so we were able to sit and enjoy our food.

Spicy Braised Beef Noodle Soup (to go order)

Inside the Westfield Fashion Square mall food court is the newly opened Mimi Garden Express! We ordered the following: A1: Kurobuta Pork Soup Xiao Long Bao C5: Spicy Braised Beef Noodle Soup C6: Honey BBQ Pork Noodles D3: Sautéed string beans with garlic Everything was made fresh and delicious. Dumplings are also handmade! Our kids loved the dumplings (xiao long baos). We loved the spicy braised beef noodle soup and the sautéed string beans with garlic. Even though the beef noodle soup was marked spicy, only the string beans had a slight kick. The beef in the soup was hard to chew too and felt like it was overcooked. To order, the cashier will take your order, you pay and they hand you a buzzer. Once it vibrates and rings, you approach the cashier again and they will hand your order to you. Because we ordered to go, the food was nicely packaged in a reusable bag. We will be back!

New spot in the food court. Was drawn to the sign. Food was so/so. The bao was okay - just all the soup came out as you can tell. The string beans were not good. They seemed not fresh and the seasoning was off. All that plus a bottle of water as about $17

Not impressed with the chicken dumplings

They just opened a couple months ago. Was really hoping the chicken dumplings would be good. Unfortunately I have to say that if they don't make them better I have a feeling they won't last in this mall. Very plain and almost had like a coffee taste. Not sure why? My 12 year old son wouldn't eat them. I ordered the b3 bbq beef with white rice. It was just ok.

Super yum! Especially for mall food. I had gotten the dumplings, the wontons, and a few soups in the past. Definitely suggest the wontons!!

I got the sesame noodles and 6 pc signature dumplings. Here's a tip - when you order to go they don't give you the sauces. You must get the sauces. I used the little cups and got all the sauces. The garlic sauce and hot sauce and you must use it. I swear it makes a huge difference. Also like any dumplings you must consume it right away. The restaurant was clean and open so even if it's casual it's a good place to eat with family/ friends. Since this is a a known Taiwanese franchise, all the other customers were Asian so that tells you it's legit! I'll definitely order again for lunch. Online order is the best, you can do it in their site and pick the time for pick up and it's ready. They have combo meals but my order wasn't a combo. I picked up and ate it there.

The options seem similar to Chubby Dumpling and Tigawok. I ordered the #4 Combo, with the Signature Dumplings and the Signature Noodles. Both dishes were good. The Signature Noodles were nicely done and had some good flavor, I just wish that there was a protein option to add to it. The Signature Dumplings were fine. I've also tried the Spicy Wontons, which were small but tasty. The big sell here is the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup, for $17.95. This is the only dish that's served in a big ceramic bowl, and not a to-go container. It also comes with a proper Ramen soup spoon. This is a meal on it's own. Filled with broth, noodles, chunks of tender, but fatty beef, daikon radishes and bok choy. The dish is good for the price, but the broth was a bit underwhelming for my taste. Fortunately, they have plenty of condiments to add more spice and heat. Over all, Bafang Dumpling was better than expected.

I drive past often mostly before 11 which is when they open so I can't stop in, but this time I was able to stop by for a late lunch early dinner which I got to go. Parking is in the back and you can enter through the back door. Staff is so sweet and kind when they take the orders. I got the Kai Soi Noodle Soup because I loved it so much before, and I got a side of rangoon, a side of Roti, and a side of chicken Sa te. The Kai Soi Noodle Soup stayed hot for the drive back home and it is so delicious. I love how it's packed in a bowl with the soup on bottom and the noodles and veggies seperated at the top. The noodles taste incredibly fresh and just amazing. I loved eating the soft flaky roti on the side with the soup. I saved the rangoon and chicken sa te to eat for another meal and they were both delicious, however I felt the chicken was so thin so it was a little dry. Probably next time I should eat that immediately. Dipping it into the peanut sauce of course elevated it and it tasted very flavorful. Overall Dek Sen's is my favorite Thai food place in socal! I can't wait to try more from their menu soon!

It started off with the fact that they have a big parking lot with a ton of free parking. Once we stepped inside it was really cute. We loved the booth seating, and the variety of options. We did go an hour before their closing time, which is why it was probably quite empty, but it was nice not being in crowded place for dinner. We ordered a couple of things to share. We got the pork wontons in chili oil, the shrimp and chives boiled dumplings, the beef fried noodles, and the sweet and sour pork ribs. The food arrived pretty quickly. Great family style portion sizes, and very flavorful! The prices were also reasonable, which was a plus! Also, loved their house made chili oil. It was the perfect level of spice for me, and delicious. I poured that oil over all the food, which made the food taste even better! Overall, we had a great experience, and cannot wait to come back and try some more dishes!

The crispy rice tuna was very fresh, crispy, spicy, and flavorful. We enjoyed it and it was perhaps the best item we had all together. We ordered their veg and blaze ramen. The veg had lettuce, broccolini, avocado, corn, mushrooms, and tofu. It was incredibly filling, but unfortunately, it was very salty and difficult to finish.
