This little hidden gem is actually on point with their chinese food. Mind you, Panda Express is just down the way from same plaza, but, this chinese spot is a great competitor. First off, the place is kept clean, not crowded, there are seats to sit at, but all tables have been placed away. This place is more for take-out than dine-in. It's true what others have stated; the serving portions are very generous and they definitely overfill that container to-go. Too much that it may pop off open if you are not careful at closing it well. Best part, the prices are reasonable for what they serve you. My order included orange chicken, rice and chow mein. The orange chicken was very good, flavorful and not too greasy. The chow mein noodles are a little on the thicker side and orange color, noodles were cooked right and tasted really good. The fried rice was also very good, it included egg mixed in there as well. The food was tolerated well by my stomach and did not make it upset at all. They must use good oils when cooking. Fast service and line moves along pretty quick, this is a go-to when you are craving chinese food at a cheaper prices vs. the other competitor. give them a try if you are in the area next time. read more

There is also a Panda Express at this plaza, make sure you come here instead! Food with lots of flavor, plentiful portions and very affordable. There are many options to select from, there is also a menu with separate items from the buffet style selection you see when you walk-in. For those items, you can place the order over the phone or wait a few minutes when you are there. I like that they have soup options as well as party packs. It is a very convenient spot! I was at this busy shopping center and I couldn't help but notice the steady stream of people getting food at this Chinese-American takeout spot. I checked Yelp and was curious why this Chinese-American restaurant had 4 stars on Yelp while neighboring Panda Express has only two stars. You walk in and the set up is like Panda Express. You have a steam table where you can choose a bowl or two-item combos. I went with the two-item combo with orange chicken and beef with broccoli as I wanted to compare the orange chicken to Panda Express and get some broccoli for lunch. You can choose your two entrees with either fried rice, chow mein, or both. The orange chicken here is lousy. Panda Express makes a superior orange chicken especially when made fresh out of their kitchen. The beef and broccoli was good, but they gave me more brocolli and a few pieces of beef. My favorite was their chow mein which is probably more superior than Panda Express. I would know for sure with a side-by-side comparison. I enjoyed the al dente feel and bite of their noodles. If I were to come back, I would only get the chow mein, a vegetable dish, and a protein which would not be their orange chicken. Their orange chicken seemed more soggy, smaller bread her pieces of that makes sense, and less crisp than Panda Express. Reason for the four stars at Flaming Wok. Based on my experience it's because your food is piled high inside the styrofoam box. People seem to like their generous portion sizes. The service isn't chatty or super friendly. You tell them what you want, pay, and be on your way. If you like Americanized Chinese food and generous portion sizes, this place is worth a try. This is my very favorite Chinese food place! Extremely good food at an incredibly affordable price. They are SO nice, please dont let negative reviews skew your impression of these people. I've been going here for a long time and they've become very friendly with me, but have to deal with some people who will try to order and not pay but take the food anyways. Once you order and can't pay, they cant put anything back so it's a huge waste of food and money. Yet, they've never complained. The food is always good quality and the portions are HUGE!! I recommend their veggie rolls (let them know at the beginning of your order incase they have to make more!). They always make whatever you want if its low, but nothing is ever low usually. My favorite plate is half fried rice half chow mein, and a double serving of kung pao chicken. My fiance and mom usually both get the orange chicken which they love. I love this place and hope they stay around for a long time :) The inside is super cute too. No seating but it's always been worth standing in line! This review is long overdue. My husband and I moved into the area over 16 years ago and this place either opened a few years after that or we noticed it a few yrs after. In any case. It's been our go to spot for delicious, comforting Chinese food. It is always packed and for good reason. The food is fresh, delicious, good sized portions and decently priced. We recently ordered trays for a party and it was a hit. So many people asked us where we ordered from. They have a few tables to sit down but in all the yrs we've been going there they've never been available to use but that's never been an issue for us. Everyone orders it to go or places their order ahead of time. Our go tos are the beef broccoli, teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, chicken and shrimp fried rice but all the other items are very tasty too. Barely able to close the lid so they don't skimp out on the portions. I do wish they would ease back on the rice although it was seasoned. That was it would be more room for the other sides. The chowmein noodles were different than what I'm used to. Orange in color and more on the soft/soggy side. Not the best. The other sides were ok as well. The orange chicken was good.
