Food is not good, service is horrible. You walk in and you feel like an annoyance. Ambiance? What's that? There's nothing there.

Ok so hear me out. When you first roll up to the spot you are going to second think going in. It's a little rough around the edges. The inside is also nothing to rave about very outdated boxes stacked all over the place. Their heater doesn't seem to work cause it was as cold inside as outside. Through all that the food was ON POINT! i've eaten at to many Chinese spots to count and the food here was great. I really enjoyed the wonton soup. Super flavorful and the wontons were super meaty. The crab Rangoon's hot the spot they had that perfect sweetness to the crab mix Fire! It was so good I went back and ordered more soup and crab Rangoon's to tear up at the hotel. They also deliver so if you don't want to go in you can always have it at home. Service was quick food came out quick. read more

The food was normal.. it's the delivery driver. That's the joy. How about you Don't call people and tell them you're outside when you're 10 minutes away. because the game of phone tag we played last night was not it. you telling me you're outside and me having to walk up to a random car thinking he is the delivery driver and then you appearing 10 minutes later calling me telling me you're outside and I need to hurry up while I'm outside Watching you arrive is hilarious. And the only reason I gave you that generous tip was because I didn't have change because after the stunt you pulled, I wouldn't have give you anything. read more

Can you give a review of more than 5 stars? True, China Garden isn't much to see, from the outside or the inside, but the food is PHENOMENAL, and those running this business truly care for their customers! I learned of this restaurant by asking a fellow Yelp Elite member for advice. My companions & I had hoped for a dine-in experience, perhaps near Niagara Falls, but after consideration, and the Elite member's advice, we maintained takeaway status and were not disappointed. We traveled just over 20 miles (about 30 minutes) to get the food; however, it was still piping hot and delicious upon arrival. The menu items ordered were: hot & sour soup, orange chicken, shrimp & scallops with vegetables, a large order of beef & broccoli without rice, and a beef & broccoli combination platter with pork fried rice and an egg roll. I was told by my companions that the hot & sour soup was the best they had ever had. The BEST. The beef was tender, not chewy. The seafood was cooked perfectly. The vegetables were tender yet crisp. There wasn't a puddle of oil - or coating of grease - on ANYTHING. The menu is also crystal-clear: MSG is *not* used on premises. You know that feeling you have, at the end of a "typical" Chinese take away meal... the one where you're stuffed to the point of uncomfortable, you can't drink dnough after the meal because you feel like you consumed an entire box of salt, and then you run for the bathroom because of the same? It didn't happen. It just didn't happen!! One of the customers waiting for their meal as I arrived shared this tidbit, "[China Garden] is the best place around, because they make off-menu items, like honey chicken, for [me], and it's always so fresh." I really debated with myself on how much of a raving review I wanted to leave... because this is almost a secret I didn't want to share. ;-) But if my fellow Elite member was kind enough to do so, I can share as well. Absolutely worst BBQ spare ribs ever. Tougher than shoe leather. Inedible. Everything else was as ordinary as run-of-the-mill Chinese food gets. A perfect fit for the backed-up toilet that is Niagara Falls NY. read more

For an out of towner, this is probably one of the better options than dining at the Niagara Falls itself. Even though Niagara has a cute little Italy area, we were sick of eating pizza/pasta hence opted for this instead. They were super busy, as it was memorial day long wknd. However, the service was quick. The one girl did everything - from taking takeout orders at the front desk, to answering phones, to playing hostess, to serving customers. Even though there were only 2 cooks, the food came out promptly. We had the kung pao chicken, szechuan (spl?) chicken, spicy tofu, stir fried veggies, veggie lo mein, spring rolls and hot&sour soup. Our only issue was everything could use more spice, so once the hot sauce arrived, we were all good. and for a feast that huge, our bill was a total of $42 - that's with 10 spring rolls. We were craving for something warm after getting soaking wet at the Niagara Falls. China Garden saved us. The food was good and very reasonable. For a group of 9, with age ranging from 7 to 70 it had everything to offer to please everyone in the group. I live in Niagara Falls,i signed up just to leave this review,we just ordered $30 worth of food delivered,plus gave tip to the delivery man of course,well i also ordered a can of orange pop,it wasnt in the bag,we called them very nicely and the chinese guy said he put it in the bag and rudely hung up on us,3 times! i said does it make sense for me to spend $30 and lie to you about a .80cent can of pop? he said "F-U!" and hung up on me again,i think when Chinese come here to open restaruants they should be taught "the customer is always right"! they just lost some big paying customers at my house! :( read more

I got my food delivered they sent me the wrong food first off when I called they argued that they didn't also refuse to satisfy me I guess they forgot I was the paying customer never never again I guess the also. So my first time trying this place out. I love Chinese food but my usual spot is on 17th street should of went there, so first of all there was nobody in there that should of been are 1st clue. The lady at the front was surprised to see actual customers, we ordered our food and drinks well here came our food we waited for our drinks so finally I asked the waitress she gave us a look and said " you order drinks" my date and I looked at each other and said yeah. Her response was there in the cooler go get what you ordered. So we got our drinks we were there for a half hour then another couple showed up so a total of 4 customers. Well when we were ready to leave we had to wait for them to stop yelling at one another in the kitchen. So I just walked up to get a carry out container she comes out and gives me a look and I said all I wanted was a container to take my food home. She eyed me again then handed me the container. I don't like this place because of the people and there food tasted like anyother Chinese place. These people will not be getting our money ever again. read more

I ordered dinner at 7:30PM. After 1 hour called and asked where the food was, and was told....on the way. After another 12 minutes I called again saying I was hungry and would go to McDonalds. The man on the phone said FU go there I cancel your order. As he hung up the order finally arrived....1 hour 14 minutes. Chicken after re-warming was only OK rice was like sheet rock paste.
