Ordered takeout through Door Dash. The cashew chicken was very good and had a lot more chicken and flavor than their cross town competitors. It had a different spice, maybe Chinese Five Spice? On 2/13/25 I was send day old (or longer) food! At 12:20 I order door dash, by 12:25 dasher is at place picking up my food - impossible right??? Less than TEN MINUTES LATER dasher is here with said food ... COLD congealed sauce OLD General Tsao! The only thing hot was the white rice - Did not get the S20 got the "chef special" ABSOLUTLY gross, unacceptable and now I understand why everyone says Lockports chiese food is the ABSOLUTE WORST!! Wontons in the soup are old. They turn into dough balls when chewed. The fortune cookies are so old they can be molded as well. Got chicken and broccoli combo and that came out normal. I had ordered two wonton soups because and was upset at the expired products. read more

They charged me for food i didn't receive. I placed an order for pickup on a Monday, then I got there a the business was closed. The next day they called me to pickup my food????. They refused to remake the food or refund my money. Poor customer service. I was a regular customer. Yelp was also useless in resolving this. read more

We spent $25 today on what I would probably describe as the worst American Chinese food we have eaten. The crab fried rice was certainly not fried and was like bland, bright yellow, buttery?! Spanish rice with faux crab added. The chicken lo mein smelled like, for lack of better description, a gas station Slim Jim. Please, if you want something that actually tastes like Chinese food, drive down to Sheridan and go to Gin Gin. I am genuinely not trying to be mean... Always quick with orders. Polite and friendly. A small walk in restaurant, well lit. The food is incredible. The egg rolls are to die for.

Stellar customer service and price , order was made faster than they said it would be and serving sizes were generous , freshly made, and hot. Everything was packaged up well and good to go ! Staff were friendly , helpful, and got our order correct. The unfortunate part of this review is that "these are not the flavors you are looking for" . We ordered sweet /sour soup - not at all tart /sour , crab ragoon: insides tasted like they heavily sugared the cream cheese ?, egg rolls - nothing to right home about - bland ( but they were not greasy ! Which I honestly appreciate ) , General Tso chicken - sauce was very watery and did not have much flavor, Four seasons - sauce was right consistency but flavor was not as one would hope. I will say the white rice was perfect. The pork , chicken, veggies, jumbo shrimp were not over or undercooked! Good place to grab a quick bite for lunch or dinner. The portion size is very generous. The dinner combos come with your choice if a main dish, a soup, and a side. You definitely get your moneys worth and the order is always on time. My only issue is how sweet all the sauces are, especially the general tso and sesame chicken. The lo mein was spot on, I really enjoyed it. The egg roll was what you would expect, but it wasn't greasy at all which was awesome! However the fried rice tasted super buttery?? which I was not expecting and I can't say that I liked it very much. read more

It's been a long time since Lockport had a good Chinese restaurant. There is another that was good for a while but they have gone downhill. I have found in my years of eating Chinese food and research about Sweet and Sour sauce that I do not like the Sweet and Sour sauce made with pineapple, I like the one made with apricot. I know it's odd but I hate pineapple and only learned this when another Chinese restaurant in Lockport switched from the apricot to pineapple. I stopped eating there and we were on a quest to find a new Chinese place. We started going to restaurants in Williamsville and Clarence because we liked theirs better. We were very excited to see this place opened up a couple years ago now. We tried it immediately and were blown away with the amount of food you get for the money. It's not cheap but it's reasonably priced. And it's always good. Every single restaurant seems to have hit and miss days or off days. We have yet to have that with this place. I'm not very brave when it comes to eating out, I tend to choose the same foods over and over. Here we always get sesame chicken, lately it's been sesame tofu as we are trying to eat less meat and consume less animal byproducts, it's always good and very saucy, which we tend to mix the extra sauce into the fried rice. The vegetables in the fried rice are still slightly crunchy which is good, you know they're fresh and it's nice having texture and not just mush. I also like their cashew and shrimp. When we're extra hungry or just craving it we throw in an order of crab Rangoon which is super delicious too! We used to get soup with our order as well as it came with the meal but it was honestly just too much food for us so we stopped ordering the meals that came with the soup. They did close for a few months during the beginning of the Covid pandemic which was devastating as this is a comfort food for us and in uncertain times we were craving it bad. Happy they are open again and have been ordering from there regularly. The wait time is always quick, they always say 15 minutes and the only time we've had to wait longer than that was on a super busy Friday night when they first opened which is totally understandable. The food is always searing hot and fresh. It sometimes sucks smelling it and your mouth is literally watering to eat it but it's just too hot still, even in the middle of the coldest months you'd think it would cool slightly on the ride home and it doesn't. You do get fortune cookies which are good and fun for the kids! I did notice recently they have gone from using plastic containers for their rice to the old "Chinese food containers" of the past, the cool foldable cardboard containers with the little metal bar handle. My kids were fascinated with them since they've never seen them in real life, just in movies, and even we got some happy nostalgia since most Chinese food places around here don't use them anymore. I'm not sure why they went back to them but it was surprising and fun to see. Somehow whatever we ordered came with rice in every single size those containers so we had a large, medium, and small which was absolutely adorable! They do still use the plastic containers for the meals. I hate plastic but we do wash and reuse them for various storage needs and my husband to take leftovers to work so he doesn't lose or damage my good containers. The employees are always cheerful and polite too which seems to be far and few these days. read more

Staff is always polite and friendly, and the "self serve" soy/duck/hot sauce bar is awesome because I can get just enough of what I want without having extra packs bouncing around my silverware drawer. read more

China king has always been my go to place. So as usual we ordered dinner from there today. I was very disappointed as my Sesame chicken was very bland. My general Tso was so spicy and not the good spicy that it always taste like that it burnt my mouth. (Like a hot sauce) My eggroll which is supposed to be cabbage or which I thought was nothing but brown dark brown cabbage, like a dark brown look. I could see it through the shell and I just thought it was over cooked but when I bit into it it was horrible. read more

I've been waiting so long for good Chinese food to come to Lockport. The other places seem to have gone down in the last few years. I finally got around to trying China King and I have to say I'm impressed. They are friendly when you go in to pick up your food AND the food was delicious!! I will be back! read more

Great food. They forgot our egg rolls and when I called they had someone deliver them within 10 minutes. We will go back!
