Came here on a Sunday night hoping my stomach could settle with some good pho soup. I ordered the beef brisket noodle soup while my cousin got some Cantonese fried noodles. We were both disappointed. My soup meat had a bunch of fat! As soon as they brought it I could see all the fat floating in it. My cousin said his friend noodles were gooey not sure why so he ate the meat and left the noodles. This was one of the most horrifying dining experiences I've ever had. I specifically asked if my dish could be made without seafood because I am allergic. The server said yes. When the food arrived, I even asked again to confirm there was no seafood, and they assured me it was safe. So tell me why did I find multiple pieces of seafood in my food? That is beyond careless. I spent the entire night violently sick and throwing up because of their negligence. If I were anaphylactic, this could've been fatal. The ambiance may be beautiful, but that doesn't excuse the fact that the kitchen and staff were reckless enough to serve an allergen after being clearly told not to. The lack of communication and disregard for customer safety is unacceptable. Do better. Train your staff. Educate your kitchen. People's lives depend on it. read more

Hmm. When asked for the best Japanese spot around, we were pointed past the high rollers club in the casino hotel. Sounded exciting... right past millionaires row, etc. it's a bit of a maze to find. Upon entry, it's a modest Asian spot. It's half Chinese, half Japanese. Service was genuine and put their best foot forward, but lacked any formal training. They bumped into me a lot by mistake, but didn't seem to notice themselves, yet very friendly and polite. Sometimes over fussing with things too much, you can tell they meant well but perhaps didn't have too much serving experience. On the drink selection, another on the table was presented with very limited wine (bottle) choices and seemed to struggle with the severe lack of selection. I was disappointed with the $5 oysters. Too briney and salty. Low quality, esp when charging nearly $5 per. The house made oyster sauce was nothing special. No red cocktail sauce, but luckily a plate of lemons. The plate lacked ice. Normally, I'm known to knock oysters back in minutes.. this one I had to plead for help. While bigger in size, lower quality in taste. The veggie and lobster sushi were good. I liked the scallop and hamachi sashimi. The salmon sashimi was bland. The Chinese food here was all actually pretty good. The table enjoyed the shrimp a lot, I found it average but not mind blowing. I enjoyed more the noodle stir fry. Also a hit was the Japanese cucumber avocado salad. The miso soup was as expected. Ended with a trio dessert plate which was a table hit. So, to sum up. Nice enough aesthetic. Lacking any true high roller vibe, service or trimmings. Staff that tried hard but were a bit under equipped. Food that was good but a little hit or miss. My stomach hurt toward the end of the night. I couldn't tell if it was the oysters or a bit of milk I should have avoided in the dessert. If I had to return, I'd stick more to the Chinese wok section. While some of the sushi was good, it was not across the board. For the last time: exceptionally disappointed with the oyster quality, especially as they advertise it as an oyster and sushi bar. Make no mistake: this is a legit 广东菜餐厅 (a type of southern Chinese cuisine restaurant). The chefs and the staff appear to be 广东人 (from Guangdong Province), and the food is authentic. Not sure how this excellent noodle place landed in a casino. But we were amazed to find it, and I'm so glad we did. (By the way, they seem to have random things like sushi rolls on the menu, but it would be pretty odd to eat that here in my opinion. Not the specialty.) We ate: * 牛腩面 - braised beef brisket noodle soup * 云吞面 - shrimp and pork wonton noodle soup We could see the chefs working in real-time, and they were lighting fast. We got our beer and noodles very quickly. And they were quite good. Again, this is real stuff. Last, but not least: PRICE IS REASONABLE. Imagine that in Niagara Falls. We paid $60 (Canadian dollars) for noodles x 2, beer, bottled water, and juice -- and that $60 included a gigantic fat tip. I am not sure how and why this place exists. Such a sad place for Asian inspired food. The menu was small (in my opinion). A few sushi rolls, a couple noodle soup dishes and a few stir fries. Just an odd place. I didn't enjoy my meal. The service was also not great because the waiters seemed to be confused about what they should be doing. We sat for quite a while before being served. Me and my friend were staying the night in Niagara so we had our fair share of burgers and bars. It was 12am and this seemed to be the only place open that was not pizza and burgers. It was located in Fallsview Casino and based on the reviews, I was already expecting some tourist trap prices. So we make our way there and it seemed like a maze. When we got there we got seated pretty quickly. After 12am though the sushi bar is closed, so it's mainly the soups that are available. We both got the beef brisket which was $14. I thought this was a pretty good price, but compared to the city you could definitely get much better value. The food came and it was really hot, but you can tell everything was freshly made. I'd say the price was worth it since the food was really good in my opinion. The broth had some really nice flavours and the brisket was very very tender. I'm always in the Niagara area on the weekend and this will be on my list for late night eats. read more

This place is way deep inside the casino so it's hard to find. The path walking in looks quite luxurious like a hotel, but the inside is almost like a sports bar. Service was extremely slow and the noodles really poor quality - something worse than store-bought microwave food except quadruple the price. Unfortunately this place was really a let down. Aside from the service, everything was just..meh. Let's start off with the price. Everything was overpriced and for what I'm paying, it is definitely not worth it. I went in with a group of 3 and we ordered shrimp wonton noodle soup (tasted like the frozen ones), fish ball noodle soup, beef brisket noodle, gai lan, and jumbo shrimp. I like the concept of the noodle bowl where you get to choose your protein, noodle, and soup. If you don't want the noodles, they'll give you bigger portions of the protein, but it'll be the same price. Each bowl was approximately $11-$12 and although the size was big and filling, the taste wasn't all that special. The gai lan was decent tasty (would order again) but it cost $16?!?!?! As for the jumbo shrimp, I had a much higher expectation especially because it costed $36... The place is also hidden in the back of the casino, so it can be a little difficult to find. Do not, I repeat, do not try to find this place on your own. You must ask alot of people for directions.... Even though this is located inside one of the biggest casinos in Niagara Falls, someone made a decision to tuck this place way in the corner, of a place you will not be able to find on your own. To get there, you have to go inside the casino, through the walkway with signs to a different restaurant (17 Nori, no less), through a quiet high roller/poker area (which you would not have expected even after someone points in the general direction), and then get a bit disoriented because the area has 3 restaurants combined, a sushi bar, a bar, and Noodle Bar. On to the food... surprisingly good! The price is a bit high for your asian fare, but, you pay for the location (nice view) and inside one of the best, if not the best, casinos in town. The shrimp wonton noodle soup with hand made noodle is to die for. I was craving that long after we left Niagara Falls. The beef brisket & tendon noodle soup was one of the tastiest I've had. So for less than $9 CAD, you get a bowl of hot and yummy noodle soup overlooking the falls, I say it's pretty darn worth it. There are other dishes there, but very small menu. Mainly, you get to pick either one of the pre-made combination of noodle soup or pick your own. No take out, and service is... well... don't go there for the service... read more

We came here for dinner and spent $57. We Had several California rolls, Cantonese fried noodle, and drinks. The California rolls are good and tasted better than I expected. Also the Cantonese fried noodles were fresh, came with onions, seafood, and peppers. I recommend the fried noodles dish. The restaurant is located towards the rear of the casino, closest to Niagara Falls. I do recommend eating at the noodle bar if you're in the area of the Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. A group of us came here for lunch since we were spending a weekend in Niagara Falls. We were recommended the oxtail noodle soup which cost $16.99! I'm here thinking, ok, oxtail is quite expensive which justifies the price but I'm also thinking, this better be one of the world's best tasting noodle soup at that hefty price. As soon as the waiter brought us our bowl of noodle soup, I'm looking at the bowl and was a bit disappointed. There were big chunks of fat on the oxtail and tiny pieces fat floating in the soup. I prefer my broth clear and free from floating fat pieces which is something most noodle place provide. Aside from that and the lack of lean oxtail meat I actually ate after getting ride of the fat, it was quit tasty but not with $16.99 tasty. Vivaa Lasss.. I mean Viva.... Niagara Falls?!?! Niagara Falls is popular spot for many occasions. May it be to check out the Falls, gamble, go one to one of many haunted houses, throw a bday party or simply to step away for a weekend, it's not a horrible choice. And with a number of restaurants around, you may wonder... where can I get something nice and simple. Well, there's a Noodle Bar inside the Sushi & Oyster Bar at the Fallsview Casino. The decor is quite modern and designed well. It overlooks the falls so you have a great view while eating. If this place were to be in downtown Toronto along Bay Street somewhere, I would expect this place to be a popular area. Now first off, I don't recommend gambling or anything of that sort. But, if you're like me and manage to get "yeet hey" once in a while (horrible translation, hmm canker sores??), or maybe you crave something lighter, then noodles for a meal may be a good choice. The Noodle Bar at Fallsview is found inside the Casino, so if you're under 21 then entrance won't be possible. It's open very late, so if you happen to feel like noodles in the wee hours in the morning, then you're in luck. On a trip back from the states, we made a stop at the Noodle Bar. We quickly ordered as we still had a fairly long drive home. We ordered Ox-tail Stewed w/ Lemon Grass Wonton Noodle Soup, a straight Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup, a Singapore Noodle and some Bok Choy vegs as a side. The pricing here is a little more than the typical place back in Toronto, but easily one of the cheaper places when compared to the other choices in the area. As a heads up, the service here is... like most Chinese restaurants. Attentive enough so you won't be mad, but not good enough for you to sing praises about it. The food took a little while for it to come and they pretty much bring whatever gets cooked first. It was around 20 mins before we first got our vegs and another 5 before we got our noodle soups. The Singapore noodles would take another 10 mins to come after everything else has arrived. Now the noodles weren't anything special, they tasted pretty average and to the group here, the soup tasted a little "ching". Another horrible translation coming - simple and clean? The bok choy was surprisingly fresh and the worst dish was the Singapore noodles. They tasted bland and rather than having the dish infused with spiciness from the curry, they were simply bits and pieces of chilli added in. Overall, I would say the Noodle Bar is... alright. I mean for the price it's one of the better choices around Fallsview. The prices at Niagara Falls are jacked up and if you're "yeet hey" your choices become limited. The portions aren't bad, so a noodle soup for most people should be enough. For me, it's good enough to make a return visit when I need something a little simple and clean. =P read more

Late late night in the Fallsview Casino we ended up going to the Noodle Bar. 2 AM, and still lineup...this gave me the impression that the food must be good. We tried the seafood noodle, beef and mixed vegetables, as well as, fried shrimp. Quality was ok but too greasy. I realized the lineup at that time didn't mean anything. Fallsview- I see more of you then I would like. It is not as amazing as the casino's in Vegas or Macau. Yet its the best we have!! Tucked away close to the platinum lounge where the high rollers are screaming out "Monkeeey" while waiting to beat the dealer on the crowded baccaret tables. Is a 3 in one restaurant and a bar looking at the falls. I would not eat at this place unless I have accumulated points in my PAC card; it is priced to accommodate that. After a long bike ride along the Niagara Parkway, we decided to head to Fallsview to try our luck and grab a bite to eat. Long lineups at several of the restaurants so we find ourselves at the noodle bar tucked at the back of the private salon. Ordered the shrimp dumpling fresh noodle soup, gai lan (Chinese broccoli), and Cantonese fried noodles. The Chinese broccoli was cooked perfectly and so it should be for $17 a plate. The dumpling soup was also good and the noodles in it were cooked perfectly. The chow mein was okay. A lot of noodles but skimpy on the toppings. Seafood was cooked to rubbery texture. Sauce was good. Service started out quick and then we were forgotten for awhile and then finally took our order for dinner. And then waited for quite awhile for the food to arrive. It did arrive all at once which was nice. Off to roulette to win some money to pay for this meal. read more

Worst Asian fusion I've had in my life! First of all, their ramen is disgusting! Their ramen literally taste like wonton soup broth. Good job noodle bar what a way to destroy a good soup. Not to mention their meat has that china town smell not very satisfying in my opinion. Second, their pad Thai is the driest pad Thai in my life! I used to work at a Thai restaurant for 4 years and I'm pretty sure know how pad Thais should really taste. Their pad Thai should be renamed as orange chicken spaghetti because their sauce ain't even the pad Thai tamarind sauce. It's literally those cheap Chinese restaurant orange chicken sauce. 2 Stars for the Miso Ramen and beef with noodles, however, we were a party of three and each meal came out separately with a significant amount of time in between. When the last entree came out one was finished and the other nearly finished. The chicken pad Thai was so spicy it was not edible. I tried. The waiter asked me if it was too spicy and I said yes but it's fine because the other members of my party were nearly finished. I couldn't eat much more than a few bites. Found this place hidden in the back of the casino, and what a find it was! Décor is kind of weird - like a mall food court, but with a stunning view of the falls along the glass wall. Service is erratic - some things were very fast, others painfully slow. Not sure what's going on there. On to the food. So there's a sushi bar at one end and an Chinese noodle bar at the other end, and you can order from both simultaneously, which is nice. We started with the tuna tataki. It was quite nicely done, enough quantity and good quality. Very tasty! Then we had the beef brisket and tendon soup - excellent flavor and nicely cooked brisket and tendon. The beef with broccoli and black bean sauce was really good - the meat was tender, the black bean sauce was real and wonderfully garlicky, and the balance of flavours was spot on. On the side we had the baby bok choy - this was a disappointment - the bok choy was not good quality and way too bitter. My only complaint with the place is the portion size - for the price, it does not compare to my regular Chinese noodle houses. But the food was very enjoyable, and the view is awesome. Plus, compared to the prices of some of the other dining establishments in the area, this is not out of line. Noodle Bar is inside the Fallsview Casino in Niagara. Food was OK - 3 star - no complaints there, but some major "WTF" on the pricing. Holy hell. $20 per dish of regular Cantonese fare. Our chicken in black bean sauce stir fry was $21 and a fried noodle dish was $14. They also do sushi which again was just OK. They had no tuna left. What kind of sushi bar doesn't have any tuna left? :( Sigh. The rolls here were giant though (at $10 a pop they damn well better be!) and the salmon and scallop sashimis were fresh. The place was filled with asians but I don't think they were coming here for the food quality, more for the convenience/proximity to the slot machines! $120 meal that would have easily cost only $35-$40 in Toronto. read more

We wanted an original noodle bar and Asian cuisine and definitely found it here.. The service was excellent and the entrees authentic. It is dark and almost night club feeling with plenty of seating. Asking for directions may not even help you find this place (it's in the most random place inside the casino). In any case - we eventually found Noodle Bar - but looking back, I wish we had eaten somewhere else. It wasn't terrible - but definitely not worth going back to. It's an authentic Mandarin and Cantonese noodle place - so maybe I am just not an authentic Chinese food guy. Everything in the restaurant, from the place itself to the food, had a very fishy smell. I ordered the Singapore Noodles with shrimp & pork - which turned out to be the best meal at the table. It was just OK. Nothing great about the flavor, smell, texture, etc. Just OK. One friend ordered the Stir Fried Rice Noodles with Beef - and that was the second best dish. It too was just OK. It had a funky smell - but the taste was decent. My wife and one other friend ordered "Noodle in Soup" - Pork in Spices (not sure which noodle) and Beef Brisket. They ate it because they were hungry - but neither of them left too happy. I feel bad giving this place 2 stars because it could just be that I am not into Chinese noodle places. The smells just really got to me. Arrived around 7pm on Sunday evening and it took a bit for anyone to seat us. Restaurant was about 1/3 full (10 tables) with about 4 to 5 serving staff moving around. Seated and again waited for our server who arrived and took our drink and food orders as we had ample time to view the menu. Drinks arrived quick, water and virgin daiquiri. Then our congee beef arrived quick after order, then the spicy shrimp arrived reasonably timed. The third dish, seafood fried rice was going to be delayed ten minutes because the kitchen ran out of rice. Then about 10 minutes later two order came to the pass and they were delivered to two other tables, one of which sat down and ordered way after us. The server came by and said again, the kitchen ran out of rice it should only be 5 minutes. Eventually the order came. The prices and the taste didn't correlate. $35 for fried rice, which was salty and had not overalls decent flavour. $25+ for spiced shrimp which was only okay. Even the questionable thing of putting served rice back into the rice cooker on the counter would limit me to going back. Three rice bowls went to a table. Then I saw a server bring one back and open the rice cooker and toss it back in. read more
