Inside there was a sign asking for patience because they were short-staffed. Our food was so good & the service friendly. Very happy. The pho is HUGE and so tasty. The stewed beef was tender - not dried out at all. I appreciated the packets of hoisin sauce and sriracha sauce too. Good sized veggie plate with bean sprouts, just a little basil. I was searching for Chinese food in Niagara Falls and this was the only option that seemed pretty decent and was relatively close to Niagara Falls State Park. The hours on Yelp are wrong, refer to their hours on Google (seemed to be only open for dinner on weekdays, perhaps their weekend hours are longer). I got here as soon as they opened at 5 for dinner and ordered a sesame chicken over white rice for dine in. FYI there's a 15% gratuity charge for dine in vs take out. They make each order fresh so there was a bit of wait for the food and they also had signs around that they were short staffed. There was only one staff member taking all the dine in and take out orders and waitressing the dine in area. I can't attest to their bubble teas but I think they just make it when ordered rather than batch make a lot of drinks. They also had soda, water and alcohol for sale. The sesame chicken came out piping hot and I could tell it was fried fresh. The sauce flavor had a very strong vinegar taste. It also came with 3 pieces of boiled broccoli and the rice tasted okay. I'm too used to eating jasmine white rice at home every day. On our first day at Niagara Falls, we wanted something quick to eat and found this place on yelp. Menu options appeared appetizing so we decided to give it a try. Parking can be little tricky and there is no free parking available around this area. Either metered parking on the streets which was $10 per hour or parking garage option ranging $10-$20 depending on day and time you park. Once we were there we saw the notice of 15% service charge if chose to dine in. We decided to carry out as there were several bench options around the building. Our order was taken by Shelly. She was really nice and helpful from the time we stepped in until our order was ready. We ordered Shrimp Noodle bowl, Spicy Noodle with shrimp, Steak Udon Bowl and my husband wanted to try Teriyaki Steak Noodle bowl. She mentioned that 4 bowls might be too much food for us, so she recommended to order Teriyaki Steak on the side and share noodles from the other three bowls. We went with her recommendation and placed our order. She offered water to all of us ( available options- ice cold, room temperature and hot water). We were handed a buzzer and waited in the outside lobby. Food was ready in about 15-20mins. She gave us extra to go plates and forks/ chopsticks to use. She also handed complimentary chocolates to both kids. Now the food..not sure if picture do the justice but bowls looked so good and freshly made. Food was hot not like just warm.. My daughter loves shrimp and enjoyed her shrimp noodle bowl. Son coudn't stop praising the steak and udon noodles Both kids were enjoying their food so much that they were even telling the by passers to go and try this place. The food was delicious! I wanted Italian, but the granddaughters wanted Chinese so we went here and I was not disappointed. I had chicken with noodles, the girls had orange chicken with fried rice and my husband had the tofu with fried rice. The portions are very generous. The girls even tried the tofu and said it was good. You order at the counter when you come in and the young lady was so helpful in explaining the menu, probably the nicest most helpful restaurant worker I have ever met. The server is super nice and communicates clearly about expectations for wait times. On a Thursday night, it's 10-15 mins for a table, and another 15 minutes for the food. She will switch to your language and did very well in making us feel welcomed. The food tasted really good, especially the cha siu (pork) fried rice, and the steak fried noodles. This was right beside the hotel we were staying at, and I think we went there three times in the span of a week. Had a nice meal with my family on July 4th. The restaurant was packed and we were seated immediately after ordering at the counter. Friendly service, nice atmosphere and large portions. We ate the Orange Chicken with fried rice, teriyaki beef with noodles, veggies with noodles, edamame, and eggrolls. We had walked down old falls street and saw Royal Dragon restaurant. We stopped outside their doorsteps and asked my mom if she wanted to eat that or hamburgers from Flip Burger. This dish was more than fine. I'd go up to pretty darn good. Overall an acceptable experience. Walked in on a cold Sunday after a walk in the park. You order and pay. The cashier/server explained portion sizes and options. My fiancé and I were visiting Niagara Falls and wanted to try out some restaurants nearby our restaurant. It was late because we went on the Niagara Falls tour so we opted for pickup. We saw the Royal Dragon was in close proximity and decided to give it a shot. When calling, they were already closing but they let us place an order anyway! They stayed open past their closing date just to accommodate the line of guests out the door. The restaurant is super cute and we were greeted with a warm welcome! We opted to get the pineapple chicken with fried rice, the teriyaki steak with lo mein, the chocolate cake and milk tea. This place is so good I went back the next day. They had already closed the kitchen. It was shortly before 10pm, the counter girl recognized me from the day before, went to the back, then came out and told me I could order whatever I wanted. That is service. For lunch today, my husband and I untypically found ourselves on Old Falls Street in Niagara Falls. We both had a hankering for Chinese, and needed to stick to the general area. Royal Dragon was conveniently located a short walk away, so we decided to give it a try. Currently Royal Dragon is takeout only. The menu on the wall has somewhere around 30 or so options, not a typical abundant Chinese takeout menu. But the go-to favorites are all there, like fried rices, General Tso, sesame chicken, chow meins, lo meins, vegetarian options, and a few more unique picks. The desk clerk who took our order today was very friendly and attentive. After ordering, it was about fifteen minutes until our food was ready. You get a buzzer, and can wait outside if you like to be buzzed when your order is on the counter. This was nice, to be able to space out from other customers in line still during social-distancing times, and wait in the fresh air. Outside there are a few tables, benches, and a few more public tables nearby along the street. My husband ordered pineapple chicken. I went with chicken and fried rice. We were both pleased with our selections. My husband's pineapple chicken dish was a good portion, deliciously sweet and sticky; he had no problem enjoying the whole thing. My chicken and fried rice was a LARGE portion--LOTS of hot, flavorful chicken on top and a bit of broccoli, in a BIG, deep container full of fried rice. The rice had a helpful sticky consistency to it to be able to eat easily with chopsticks. The flavor was a satisfying salty and savory balance. Royal Dragon is in the heart of Niagara Falls tourist district, so you are paying a bit of a premium here. Both of our dishes were over $15 a piece. With a couple of cans of soda, our tab came to $36 and change. Steep for Chinese takeout, but the portions were generous, especially the fried rice, and the quality and tastiness of the food were very good. When we're back in Niagara Falls, I would gladly enjoy Royal Dragon's fried rice again sometime, YUM! :-D read more

I called and placed an order for the 4 of us: 2 orders of Shrimp Lo Mein, 1 Shrimp Fried Rice, 1 Beef Lo Mein and 2 orders of Fried Gyoza Dumplings (6 per order). The woman who took our phone order was very courteous, patient and repeated my order to make sure it was correct. I walked to Royal Dragon and was pleasantly surprised. The same young woman greeted me with a smile (rare), the restaurant was extremely clean (rare), and she kept me informed on the status of my food. I waited a bit, and tried one of their Jasmine Green Milk Boba Tea. I am happy to say, it was FANTASTIC! The food arrived hot, fresh and in large containers. I was shocked as I tried to carry everything back to our room. Everyone enjoyed the dumplings and the food. The portions were large and everything tasted great. Long story short: If you visit Niagara Falls, or just going somewhere in this region, I highly encourage you to visit Royal Dragon. It is worth the trip, money and time. Popped in for a quick dinner on a busy Friday night. The ladies working in the front are fast, friendly and hardworking. We had a party of 7 and had to wait about 30 minutes for the table. The restaurant is so busy that they didn't have time to reset the tables fast enough. But, being the pros that they are, they took our order while we waited for the table so that the food arrived quickly after we sat down. The entire time, they were very gracious and kind with everyone, apologetic for long wait times and thanking everyone for their patience. Between order taking, carryout, bubble tea and dine in, they were swamped! Food was decent, small selection of American Chinese food but everything was hot and tasted like it should.
