Recently found out about this place- just yesterday! Authentic Japanese ramen, and fried rice! I tried the shrimp fried rice, and it was SOOOOOOO GOOD!! Royal dragon does take out or sit in, and they make traditional bubble tea, fresh!! I am going to try a ramen bowl next time I go! read more

We tried this place because it was late and they are supposed to be open til 11. Take out only. It was a lot of food and what you'd expect from Chinese food, I guess, but the Gen Tso chicken was not cooked thru. As in still pink when we bit into it. At 1030 DH tried to walk it back to the restaurant and they were already closed. Frustrating when you spend money on food you can't eat, and the fam is hungry. Royal Dragon is located near the US falls in Niagara Falls. Nice menu of Japanese rice and noodle dishes. Server was cheerful and very helpful. It's mainly take out but they have pleasant seating if you ask. I enjoyed the beef on rice and the room was pleasant and comfortable. Price is ok considering the proximity to the Falls. Exceptional, fresh tasting Chinese meal. Healthy portions served by an extremely friendly staff. Great spot to grab a drink before or after heading to the falls. I like their decorations and their pastries. Went there in the evening right before they close, which wasn't busy. Ordered a passion fruit green tea and a milk tea, both with tapioca. The drinks were a little too sweet, next time I'll ask them to reduce on the sugar level. Overall, good Asian restaurant will have to come back and check out their food. read more

I was craving udon the other day and the Royal Dragon came up as a recommendation on Yelp. Although their prices are waayyy high due to their location being close to a tourist attraction, their food is delicious!! The young woman at the register was so sweet and put a smile on my face. I'm from out of town and panicked- and ended up here. I AM VERY GLAD I FOUND THIS PLACE! I went in quickly to grab a menu to check out what they had- but they did not have any. It is encouraged to look at the menu online- or look at their menu with pictures inside. The place is small- but very clean. Everything is take-out because of COVID, but that's ok. The young woman working at the counter was very friendly and courteous. Very eager to please and showed me the sizing and packaging for the take out meals. I ordered the fried gyoza, chicken fried rice and bubble tea. The gyoza seems to be home made- and it was fresh, cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The best I've ever had in fact. The bubble tea was good- my first time having it- so I can't say honestly what it's supposed to taste like- but it was packaged up wonderfully to go. I even got to pick out the color of my straw! The fried rice with chicken was outstanding. They have fresh broccoli to garnish it with. The chicken was moist and in large pieces. The rice tasted like it was freshly made to order. The flavors are good. Nothing exceptional- but it was really good. I took it to go and ate my meal at the falls. The packaging was convenient and kept my food warm! I'm sad it will be a long time before I can come back here- but seriously I was impressed. I wish I got a noodle dish! Great food, FRESH, well packaged and good portions. Found this place because it was one of the very few open at around 8:30 pm and we just wanted a quick bite after visiting Niagara Falls. Staff was really friendly. I order the mapo tofu and the woman told me it was also served with a bit of minced beef. It was also really spicy. It took about 20 minutes to prepare all 3 of our orders. I would recommend calling in your order first if you know you are going to eat here. Super tasty Chinese cuisine. We got it to go and just ate outside. They had a 2 small tables outside. read more

My son and I were staying in a hotel around the corner and were fortunate to find this place after a long day at the Falls. We had rice bowls and egg rolls. Food was tasty and portions were generous. Besides the very nice woman taking orders, I have nothing good to say about this place and I am not a picky eater. We had fried rice and shrimp. The shrimp was rubbery, the fried rice had little seasoning and was dry. We couldn't even add flavor with soy sauce since we each received 1 packet. All this for $15 each. read more

I was taking a walk to the Falls during my lunch break and spontaneously decided to look into the Royal Dragon as I passed by. First Impressions: The place is spotlessly clean, and attractively laid out. Due to Covid restrictions they are only offering takeout but there are tables outside if you want to stay and eat close by. My reason for the high rating is due to the awesome customer service. The lady was super nice and helpful and her cheerfulness was guaranteed to brighten your day! : ) I wanted something small for lunch so ordered the gyoza. They cooked it and it took about 5 minutes - it was delicious and a good amount for the price! I will certainly return - also, fyi, local workers get a discount if they ask. read more

Newly opened Chinese restaurant near the Falls. Food is great and staff friendly. They also serve bubble tea! Their pineapple chicken was really good. The fried rice had "wok he", strong heat burn from the wok, which makes it extra tasty. Must give it a try if you are in the area!! read more

There was a line for those who order takeout. We knew that they were popular.this one had no dine in so everything was to go. We had two dishes ordered chicken fried rice and chicken and broccoli and a bubble tea with milk. Excellent. Portions are big and worth the price. I split the chicken fried rice with my mom and it still was a lot. Typically when I order chicken fried rice I get little cube pieces but theses pieces weren't cut up. So that was good. You go to counter, young lady is very helpful with questions asked. Some people didn't order after, but she wasn't bothered by it. Maybe the menu there is limited to what's on the board, I don't know cause I'm not from here. After ordering they give you this little pager and when it rings 8 mins later for us you go to counter and pick up meals. We didn't get utensils or napkins but we didn't ask either.thankfully I had brought a couple of forks and knives with us for the trip just in case we needed them. We would go back again. Once you get passed the section where there's a little sauce, the meal is very bland. No seasoning at all.
