Such a cute restaurant! Me and husband stopped in for a Saturday brunch at Seva kitchen and Bar. We were treated by the staff when we entered and were given the option to sit inside or outside. We chose to sit outside as it was a beautiful day. The outside patio is very spacious, they have high top tables and lounger type couches with lower tables available. They also have umbrellas that they are able to move around to help with the sun shining directly on you. We placed our orders. The menu is not extensive which is ok because the items we did order were great. I had the French toast with a side of bacon, and my husband ordered the waffle with a side of home fries. My French toast was very good and very filling. The bacon was perfectly cooked. Will definitely return again. read more

This restaurant was highly recommended for food so I took their advice and went. They're not too far from the Seneca Casino and the Falls so the location is superb. We went after six so finding parking was not an issue. The location is cute and very Instagram-able. We were greeted and seated immediately upon entry and decided on the patio which has ample space to spread out and enjoy. Our waiter was nice and friendly. Once he took our order and brought our food, he all but vanished. No check to see if our food/beverages were okay or if we needed anything...I asked the other waitress for a straw and she brought it with no napkin but just her bare hand! It was a paper straw so I just raw dogged it. Oh well, I was using the cutlery‍. The food...the menu said smash burger...I got a standard burger with barely a handful of fries. IF I AM PAYING TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS FOR A CHEESEBURGER I WANT FRESH BEEF AND A TON OF FRIES! I absolutely ate all of the food because I refused to waste my money on mediocrity. My beer flight was decent. We wanted to settle the bill but of course my waiter was no where to be found so we had to go inside to the bar to find him. I had a lovely experience at Seva with my husband. The location in town is great, we stopped off for an early dinner on a Tuesday evening in late May. The restaurant was not super busy and the ambience was clean, hip and relaxing. They have a great wine selection and a handful of vegan options. I had the roasted vegetables w hummus wrap and my husband enjoyed a burger of some kind. I'd definitely go back because it's part of the nice hotel, it felt upscale for decent prices. read more

I would leave zero stars if I could. This place has cute decor but the live band outside was so loud inside we couldn't even talk to each other. The sign saying Wait to be Seated is a joke, you'll stand there for 20 min while staff walks past and then they day just sit wherever you want. Then you wait another 20min to order your drinks. Wait another 25min to get your drinks which are fancy and tasty but noticeably short pours. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip appetizer that was overcooked, the chips were all broken like from the bottom of the bag. My friend got a burger she ordered medium well. It came out overcooked and missing condiments. She asked for ketchup for her fries, we waited 20 min and then she decided to go to the bar area and ask for ketchup again. The staff was rude and told her the restaurant was out of ketchup. She asked for extra mayo and got attitude from the waitress. Then she asked for the manager who was young and rude. When she described her meal and how bad it was, the manager just walked off like too bad. I ordered a flatbread that was more like a foccacia bread. It wasn't horrible but nothing noteworthy. They never asked if we wanted more drinks, water, etc. The waitress simply came over and dropped the electronic pay machine and walked away. I paid the tab and we left. Great location near multiple hotels and close to the park. Servers were great but understaffed for a huge party on top of trying to manage regular walk-in guests for a Friday. They did their best but were struggling to keep up (this is not a server issue, that's a management issue. Three front of the house staff on a completely full evening with no bussers will only burn out the great staff you have). This place was such an epic fail I don't even know where to start. We arrived at the restaurant at 10:15pm and our first indication of the disaster that was about to set upon us should've been when we waited over 5 minutes to be sat while they had 1 table and a group of 4 at the bar because it took 2 servers to split 1 check for 6! Once sat at the terrace we placed our order promptly; it consisted of 2 sodas, 2 cocktails, 2 hot dogs, 1 house salad, 1 artichoke/spinach dip, 1 order of tacos, 1 tiramisu, and 1 chocolate cake. It took about 20 minutes to get the kids' sodas and 45 to get 1 of the 2 cocktails. When I went to check what was taking so long, the bartender told me, as she was pouring some beers, that she was the only one who could make cocktails. Our server was too young to deal with alcohol and the other server was too busy playing on his phone at the bar after waiting on his 2 tables to help our poor server out. Food wise, it seems the main reason we were waiting is because the "chef" was walking out of the kitchen every 5 minutes to hit his vape pen and go snuggle, who I assume was his girlfriend, at the bar. After 1h15 minutes, we were still waiting on our food and 1 of the cocktails, and had been given no water or soda refills. At that point I requested they cancel my order, but they said food was coming right out so we waited a few more minutes. We finally left at 11:45pm, at which point we were still missing 1 cocktail, the house salad, the spinach dip, and the tiramisu as well as any type of soda or water refill. Apparently it was our poor server's third shift; to say they did her dirty is an understatement. I was a restaurant manager for over a decade and in the industry for over 3 while my husband grew from dishwasher to sous-chef; we were utterly disgusted by the display we saw from everyone in that restaurant but our server. She had an other table aside from us going through the same thing and she said she had received complaints all day. I know she went to bed in tears that night and I just wanted to hug her as I told her that none of this was her fault, and that she deserved so much better. More that the failed meal, I am so disappointed and angry by my experience in this place because it's "establishments" and staff like these that give a bad name to our entire profession. It seems our server was told this place is a "shit show" when she was hired and that's probably the only thing they got right. read more

Seva is the in-house bar/restaurant inside The Cadence hotel in Niagara Falls, NY. As we spent two nights there we were curious to try the kitchen, especially in light of their promotion for hotel guests of a free 4 choice flight of beer. So, we stopped in before 10 PM on our second night to check it out. We sat at the bar where we ordered the suds and late night snack from the hardworking bartender. My son had their Gouda Burger w Fries, and I went with the French Onion Soup. The various Pilsner's, Ales and Ciders we sampled were all middle of the road, with nothing really memorable. All good, but not great. Still, entertaining, and well worth the price. The Burger was devoured quickly by the young man and he seemed happy with it. My Onion Soup was suffering from too much time in the pot, and had morphed into more an onion stew than a free flowing potage. It was thick and the liquid overly rendered to an almost too salty colloid. It was hot enough, but not soup enough. We were the kitchen's last order of the night, so I semi forgave them for not letting me know in advance that this bowl was headed for the grease trap and of questionable edibility before putting it before me. Beautiful destination spot in Niagara Falls . I enjoyed my visit to SĒVĀ - the bar area is beautiful , the drinks were creative and the appetizers were good as well as creative . The outdoor area is wonderful , plenty of seating , beautiful fireplaces for warmth and ambiance . There is an upper deck outdoor area that I did not explore but I will on my next visit . My only criticism is that some of the drinks were presented in glasses that were too big . This really takes away from the overall presentation . The other criticism is that garnish was left out of a few of our drinks . We could see there was inconsistent effort here as some drinks came out beautifully presented . It was a busy night , but give every opportunity to showcase the beauty of the specialty drinks as patrons are much likely to share a nice photo based on presentation . I met friends here a week ago. I tried two drinks. One was their Gunpowder Sour. It was awesome! It had Dewar's White Label Scotch, chai, lemon juice, and a dehydrated lemon wheel. It was really fantastic! I also tried a Bees in the Trap. I was not a big fan. It had rum, banana liqueur, honey, pineapple and lime juices and a dehydrated pineapple. If you want to visit or bring friends to see the Falls, I'd highly suggest stopping by this place, especially if you are of drinking age, and want to relax after walking all over Niagara Falls. This has got to be one of the trendiest places in Niagara Falls(USA), if not the best. From what I hear, the property has been in the owner's family for over 35 years, and was previously a motel. The owner has rebuilt this place to bring a trendy spot to the area, and I must admit that I was very impressed. I am far from a person who will buy a cocktail at a restaurant or hotel, mostly as it is overpriced sugary water. Both drinks pictured were good, and heavy on the alcohol. The lavender drink was called Chakra Collins and had lavender along with a few other liquers. I think the yellow one was called "the bees trap" or something along those lines, and had pineapple, banana liquer, etc. The drinks were roughly $16 each. They also have a few food items. I don't eat cheese, so my options were extremely limited, but I'm certain this wouldn't be an issue for most people. We loved hanging out on the patio, of which they have two. They also have a real nice firepit, which was my favorite place to be. I'm hoping this place becomes popular, as it deserves it. read more

It's pretty compared to most places in town. In addition, it was one of the few places open at 9pm (they stay open until 10pm). The bartender did the best she could being alone running the bar and some of the tables. However, she brought our our food and as you can see on the picture, our salmon with asparagus both were overcooked and dry (looked like it had been sitting in the heating lamp). The wings tasted like they were frozen and thrown in the oven. We ate it because we were starving by the time it came out. We also waited a long time to get checked out. We were here for a wedding and it is NOT a good place for a lot of people. The bar and dining area were cramped. Though they had sutible outdoor seating, the manager had the outside closed up due to rain. The servers were able to pump out food and drinks pretty quickly which was appreciated. However, out of 4 of their 5 appitizers only one was good their chicken Parm sandwich, the BBQ shirp and grits were only saved by the grits. The cheesecake I received was not as pictured--no fruits, whipped cream, caramel, or any toppings--just plain. The bartender took our order, after informing us that they only had one server that evening.(It was a Tuesday, I'll cut him some slack.) I got a beer when we ordered, and went and sat on the patio. When the bartender brought our food out, I said I'd like another beer, but no hurry since I still had about half of the first one. Never got the second beer. We went inside to pay when we were done eating, told him I didn't want that second beer after all. The bill was correct, that is it reflected what was served. Every single dish was cooked to perfection. We had and I badly recommended: The flight of Cesar salad, the dip sample, the burger and the filet mignon with chimichurri. We came here twice during a week stay in a nearby hotel. The staff was friendly, efficient and gave good recommendations. This is the perfect place to order a few things and share. The craft cocktails are phenomenal and so pretty! Great ambience with the indoor and outdoor seating, and considering quality of food and cocktails a wonderful value. Definitely order a dessert to share too! We enjoyed the tiramisu and flourless chocolate cake. For small plates we tried the vegetable spring rolls, trio of dips, and potstickers; we shared pistachio roasted salmon with asparagus too. I live in Niagara Falls yet didn't know Seva existed until my brother and sister in law visited for the 4th and suggested it. I would go back in a heartbeat. The outside area is really pretty ; I like the outdoor fire places. The inside is modern and clean. Food was great. I ordered a steak sandwich and it was a perfect portion. My husband had a burger he said was good too. The only issue was the staffing- all the employees were very nice, but they were grossly under staffed. There was one person doing drinks, and taking orders for the whole patio and inside area. There were two other people that were helping him run food, but ultimately it seemed like he was working on his own. I'm not sure if this is something that can be fixed as someone had mentioned there is some difficulty hiring in the area.
