The food is always great. The service is always friendly. They are very accommodative to good sensitivities and allergies. My mom and cousin are both gluten and soy free and have several options on the menu that can be made to suit their needs. Serving sizes are ample... I always leave full with leftovers! Took the short trip from Grand Island over to Niagara Falls on Pine to visit this gem. I went once with some friends and have been back 3 times since this month. Every thing I've got from the number 3 &4 to the lemon grass shrimp and my favorite the Vietnamese curry is amazing and priced right too. Owners I believe are on site every day and make sure everything comes out perfect. Maybe 20-30 seats inside but great for sit down or take out. Always so good I forgot to take a picture before I eat it all. I try to get a pic next time i go which I'm sure will be soon. read more

My parents are picky when it comes to Vietnamese food, but during our last visit here, they were absolutely impressed. The food was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced--especially for us coming from California, where everything is more expensive. My parents loved it so much, they've already recommended it to friends planning a trip to Niagara Falls. My mom's favorite dish was the Hủ Tiếu--she highly recommends it. A little hole in the wall that is absolutely worth stopping by!! Service was great and the food is a 10 out of 10!! The hủ tiếu tươi đặc biệt was absolutely delicious!! The broth is what makes this dish and it was on point! The sliced pork, squid, crab were tasty with the Chinese onion. And the fried pork cracklings tops off the flavors! Yum!!! Bánh khọt was the perfect combination of crunchy and savory! The nước mắm was so good that I picked up that bowl and drank some. Now that is a sign of deliciousness! I was working in my hotel room on a Monday. It was lunch time. I needed to fetch lunch. I would normally grab some takeout. However, I felt like ordering in. I looked at my DoorDash app and found Pho Golden. If you order was a minimum of $15, delivery was free. Yes, please! I ordered the following items: - #62 - Bun tom thit nuong cha gio (vermicelli with grilled shrimp and pork, and a spring roll) - Thai iced tea I like having the Dasher (the DoorDash delivery person) knock on the door and leave my food at the door. It's contactless and makes things easy for both folks. It didn't take long for my food to arrive. It took maybe half an hour. I heard the knock on the door and waited a bit before fetching my lunch. The vermicelli was yummy. The shrimp were large and yummy. The grilled pork had what tasted like a homemade barbeque sauce on it. It was a bit sweet, but tangy. The pork was equally as yummy as the shrimp. This place calls the cha gio an egg roll. To me, it's a spring roll that had pork and vermicelli in it. It was crunchy and delicious. There was also fish sauce that I poured on top of everything. It was excellent! This meal came with shredded lettuce, cucumbers, pickled carrots and daikon radish, and bean sprouts. Everything had basil, scallion oil, and peanuts on top. I loved mixing everything up with the vermicelli. It was comfort food at its best. I ordered a Thai milk tea. It was also yummy. I got equal parts tea and milk in this drink. It would have been even better if it were 60-40 in favour of the tea. It needed more tea presence, but I liked that it was cold, refreshing, and smooth. This eatery offered decent good eats. I was extremely happy ordering lunch from Pho Golden. I'd love to visit the restaurant when I'm in the area and go for dining in when I'm not working remotely. I decided to check out what pho places were nearby after visiting Niagara Falls and stumbled across this place. Outside may not look like much in the area, but this place certainly looks like a local favourite with how busy it was. Pho: Amazing bowl of hot pho. They only serve one size here - it was around the size of a medium size at most places. The broth was flavourful and delicious. The location had free street parking in a not so busy area. There was a reasonable amount of seating, so there is no wait to get seated. The menu was pretty straightforward to order out of. This place is legit! The pho here exceeded our expectations and we know good pho. We each had a different bowl, fried egg roll, and shrimp spring rolls. I am lucky to have an expert at the table. The food doesn't disappoint and there is a wide variety of items on the menu but not so much as to confuse you. It was slow when we got there. The food looks as good just like the pictures and of course they tasted good as well. The service is prompt and the food came out pretty quick. As for the price I think it was in the average range. We were visiting the Falls and found this restaurant for dinner. Place was easy to find. Parking lot in the back with some massive pot holes to look out for. Large enough dining area for our party of 9 with young kids. Service was great. The server was accommodating when I customized the kids order and asked for scissors and small bowls to split the pho for our little ones. We ordered the fried dumplings, beef meatball pho, seafood pho, and pork chop plate. The food was okay, nothing I tried really excited my palate. Ordered a 23 which was a com ga cha gio (broken rice, chicken, egg roll, veggies, and fish sauce) as well as a 63 which was a bun dac biet (vermicelli with various types of meat and fish sauce). I was not disappointed! My chicken was tender and juicy with a great hint of lemon grass. Prices were decent for relatively big portions. It was a time when the huge arowana was the only fish in the dining room's fish tank. I remember that I was very impressed to see a rare fish, an auspicious symbol, whose energy is supposed to attract happiness, prosperity and money. It's been two years since my last visit, but being always on the hunt for a good seafood pho, I wanted to give Pho Golden another try. Seeing so many beautiful pictures taken by happy customers made me feel anxious to try different dishes on the menu. Unfortunately, my love for pho took over and I asked for a Pho Do Bien #48. My partner's choice is invariably a Pho Dac Biet, here #47. We've got a little wild and also wanted to discover what was so special about Mom's spring rolls Bo Bia #3. I was expecting the fresh rolls to be thick and full of stuff, but actually they were a thin sample size little treat. I thought it couldn't be my mom. She would definitely make it stuffed with more crunchy vegetables, slightly more egg and sausage. The peanut sauce was great! My pho didn't meet my expectations. It was the same or even worse than before. I want to be very clear, the broth is the only part that made me enjoy my meal, beautifully spiced not overpowered with star anise or salt. I really liked the broth. The thing is, the seafood was a 'frozen seafood medley' quality. Mix of a bunch of small shrimps, a few rings of squid, little bay scallops and imitation crab meat didn't spark any joy in me. Even the fish balls, maybe there was just one fish ball, was sliced and I couldn't experience the pleasure of biting into a starchy, gummy thing. Very skimpy on quality and quantity, is all I can say. Yes, there was a lot of rice noodles, plus sprouts and basil were very fresh, including fresh jalapeno. The beef soup was alright, not bad or exceptionally good. We ate everything. Although I felt a little annoyed to be informed twice about the availability of fork, the whole experience wasn't bad. Not sure how to rate this place on the Yelp scale, but I wish them the best. I still want to try more of their food and they are on the way to Niagara Falls State Park. read more
