Simply the best Delivery Chinese Food in Tysons Corner. I can think of others that may be better for eat in, but for a small delivery operation this is the best. The staff here is super friendly and the delivery drivers go out of their way to meet you within the half hour exactly where you need them to. If you live in a condo community you know what I mean here. China Express is a bit hard to find, so I would recommend you have them deliver because it is FREE if you are withing a 3 mile radius. I actually made it there one day. You have to go behind a strip mall off of Tyco Road. When I finally got there the cashier said that he was glad to see us with a smile and I said it was hard to find the place. He replied eloquently "Good food is hard to find!". Anyhow I thought that was simply great. We had the lemon chicken and the best seafood fried rice I have tried since I was in Hong Kong. The portions were large and the prices were fair. The only reason for 4 stars as opposed to 5 is because the place is hard to find if you want to pick up from the location and eat in is not even an option. There is no room in the place for chairs or tables. TIP: Save the menu from these guys for awesome coupons like free fried rice with a $15 order. My review is on delivery only I live in Pimmit Hills (right next to Tysons). This is one of a handful of places that delivers to my neighborhood. What I have found is that they are very quick on delivery and the food is very good. They package everything extremely well. On the food: It is not greasy and it isn't cheap MSG laced chinese food. Tucked away in an industry park off of Tyco Road is this little hole in the wall Chinese joint. This is take out or delivery place only. My in-laws live in Great Falls and this is the only a few places to get Chinese food near their house. Of all the choices around, we usually order from here. Tonight dinner consisted of Kung Pao Chicken of course, Chicken and Snow Peas, Moo Shoo Pork, Hot and Sour Soup, and Egg Rolls. The reason I like order from them is because they are close and very fast. When I called they quoted me 10 minutes, I arrived there in about 10-12 minutes and they were just putting the finishing bagging it up. Well the hot and sour soup was pretty bland and not too much flavor. It has some of the usual goodies in there, pork, tofu, bamboo, wood ear mushrooms, but not very much. The soup itself was actually pretty thin and very light in color. The kung pao chicken is your typical americanized style. Itwas very sweet, but filed with geen peppers, carrots, and onions, but not too bad. They use a lot of plum sauce, it kind of taste like their chicken and cashews. The chicken and snow peas, was pretty basic, cooked in a white wine sauce. That was actually pretty decent if you don't like over spiced food. The moo shoo pork was o.k. also. My in-laws wanted this dish and who am I to stop them? =) I guess it tasted o.k, but how can you go wrong if you add plum sauce on top of it =) I will give them credit, they did use the real pancakes then use tortillas. The egg rolls were typical Chinese style, full of cabbage. Overall this place really isn't too bad. If Chinese food is wanted when at my in-laws house this is were we order from. It's not the greatest, but o.k. I have had their Pad Thai before, I think they need to stick to the Chinese dishes. Besides, if you are ordering Chinese food why are you ordering Thai food? In my opining their Pad Thai is very, very bland. I don't even know if they have any sauce on it. But oh well. Stick with the Chinese food and you'll be fine. read more

This is THE BEST Chinese delivery place I've ever had! Maybe best Chinese restaurant period. The food is cheap cheap cheap, plentiful, delicious, hot, and super fast. We couldn't believe the amount of food for what we paid; it was just unreal. For $22 (including tax and a $4 tip) we got: a take out box crammed tight with delicious curried rice noodles with BBQ pork and shrimp, an entire styrofoam box full of fried rice, 4 well-sized fried chicken wings, 2 eggrolls, and 2 sodas. Also plates, forks, condiments, napkins, and of course fortune cookies ;) It was enough for 3 people easy. It wasn't only plentiful it was *delicious* and arrived so fast it was still too hot to eat. The service was also great. On the phone and in person they were so nice. NO delivery fee, and a minimum order of only $15 (mostly standard, but some places get a little carried away with minimum delivery $). Lunch is a minimum of $12, and with their cheap lunch prices you could get 2 and a half main courses for that! I've had Chinese or Thai delivery about 5 times since living in the area, and this is far and away the best best best! I'll only be suggesting this restaurant from now on for sure. (Plus they have coupons!) PS: For price, it's really at the low end of the 2 $ range. I wouldn't say it's under 10, as for dinner the entrees range from 8.75-9.25 on the low end, and 11-14 on the high end. It's a good spot for a quick pick up. The people there are very friendly; you will usually get greeted by "Wendy" who answers the phone 90% of the time. I went to meet them recently after 2 years of being their loyal customer. It's a great place to get quick take-out Chinese food. I ordered from them once every 2 weeks; have never had any items missing or errors in my order. Their drivers are very fast in the delivery process (except when it's snowing.) Do not expect a sit down gourmet place; it is a great quick alternative when you are too tired to cook or want a quick tasty Chinese meal. I would not call this authentic Chinese cuisine. Been to China and the taste is completely different, but still good. If you are in the Tyson's area do not hesitate in ordering from them. There are a myriad of bike-in-the-wall Chinese takeout/delivery places around the area, and despite the lamentably generic name, this place does it right. One of the measures I use gauge Chinese restaurants is the soup. The wonton soup has tender, meaty wontons and good flavor. The hot and sour soup is nice and tangy, and not too slimy, as many other places are. They are always agreeable to minor requests like "easy on the sauce", the vegetables in the dishes seem to be fresh, and not over-cooked. The only con to this place is the entirely generic menu. But if you're looking for the basics, you can't go wrong with this place. And delivery is generally very fast, too! read more

Don't order through any third party app and you are good..... my order was delivered to the desk of my building without any receipts (a receipt would prompt a call to the apartment.... since the driver didn't communicate the apartment number or my name ) When I called for a refund or partial credit they told me I was S.O.L. Ordered delivery from this establishment while I was at work. Delivery was free over $12, and it was prompt - The food came within 25 minutes. In the context of Americanized Chinese takeout, this place really is excellent. The lunch portions are huge. For $7 you get an egg roll, rice, and an entree. I had the Kung Pao Chicken, as I'd read that this place specializes in it. The chicken was delicious, and cooked perfectly. Not sure what the hype is about. This is average as it gets, I am talking Panda Express average. Rice is bland, chicken bland, all you taste is sauce. Spring roll bland. Yes it is VERY hidden (be careful you don't accidentally end up opening the door of the nearby Asian Massage Therapy parlor) but not worth the hunt. In a horrific trend, most Chinese restaurants have lately served a gelatinous disaster under the guise of hot & sour soup. Why would soup be gelatinous? Why would anyone eat soup that is gelatinous?! This place gets their soup right. I've never ordered a hot & sour soup that was truly hot, but this one is tasty, sometimes sour, and notably NOT gelatinous. Oh to have soup that looks and feels and tastes like soup... Oh, and the food's decent, too. I guess. It's Americanized Chinese food done well. Great prices and very average food. I've tried 2 of the 7$ lunch specials the hunan chicken and the chicken with broccoli. Both were greasy, filling and had about 1/3 lb of chicken. Lunch specials come with egg rolls and rice. I like their hot and sour soup, its a good size, very flavorful and only 2$. I like China Express. It's a small mom and pop Chinese take-out restaurant and delivery. The food is quick, and delicious. I had the chicken lo-mien today it was great. I have always had take out therefore not sure how delivery is, but there are always drivers busy taking orders out. I have also had their specials like triple delight, and the seafood version. Not a fan of the imitation crab meat, but the chicken, beef, shrimp was good. Scallop was sliced thinly and was good, but not much in portion. Can't take it, I just had to say something. I have read the reviews and now visited the place probably three of four times. I keep waiting to get the emotional response the others do who have eaten there but it has never come in any of my trips. I have ordered all manner of thing off the menu. Across the board, the food was on the greasier side and everything had lackluster flavor. I was eating dishes of variety (lo mein, fried rice, etc.) and every bit of the concoction tasted the same with different types of texture. It is just blase, average Chinese food no matter what you order. I'm happy for others if they have enjoyed their experiences, but I just can't cosign the quality. It's quick, affordable, and honestly the best tasting in my opinion. I tend to judge Chinese restaurants based on their dumplings, and these do not disappoint!! Everything else is delicious too. I went to this place and realized very quickly that the some of the information mentioned on Yelp were wrong about this business. The place is open on Wednesdays. They went back to Wednesdays about six months ago. I ordered four combos consisting of chow mein, steamed rice, jalapeño chicken, orange chicken, and egg rolls. It was actually very good. The orange chicken was my favorite because it had a little bit of a crisp and it wasn't soggy like other places. I would go back and for a one item combo it about 4.79. They are pretty friendly people and never mess up the order. Most of the time they are SUPER fast, I have had food here in 10 minutes. Def not the best Chinese food I have had but for a quick lunch, it's a solid option. I stick with what I know and get the Kung Pao chicken lunch special (cant beat 7 bucks in McLean) sometimes I get an egg drop soup if I'm feeling fancy.
