Love seeing this as part of covid19.

Kudos to China Express for putting a sanitizer station at their front entrance and one more inside by the counter. We stopped by for a quick takeout and the food was good.

Crab Rangoon after one empty bite. I ordered ahead specially to get them fresh. Got old cold and empty ones instead. Bad the last two times.

This place is really hit or miss. When the food is made fresh it's definitely a 4 to 5 star hit. However, when it's not fresh, it's not good at all. They have no problem sending hard overcooked food out the door. Since they have a buffett the food is kept out for a while. Sometimes when looking it's hard to tell how long it's been sitting there until you bite into it. This can be devastating when you're hungry and chose the place based on a good day.

This has been one of my favorite Chinese spots for years! When I lived in South Lansing, I'd drive across town solely for their honey chicken. The orange and general tso chicken are great, as well. You can even preorder online for pickup; super convenient and easy! The workers are very personable and will remember your order after a few times. Only downside is that they're closed on Sunday's. Highly recommend though!

The food is ok. I'm more scared by the "office/day care" that is set up in the restaurant.

Rice is good and not undercooked. Orange chicken is fresh and not all batter. (Like panda express)

I do see a lot of takeout orders going out, but usually you can easily get a seat and the food is prepared quickly. Have tried maybe 10-12 different dishes and all of them are good in their own way. Some favorites include the Spicy fish filet soup (a large bowl you can share), shredded pork with dry bean curd, stir fry string bean (a classic), and then the string bean with ground pork - (green beans are diced into small pieces). You really can't go wrong, so it's a matter of finding your favorites. The servers are extremely helpful and almost always know the menu very well. You can get American-style dishes such as Beef Broccoli and General Tso, but I would recommend branching out - haven't been disappointed with any menu item yet! Really great execution, professional service, all around fantastic place to eat, especially with a group so you can order several dishes to share.

My nephew…read moretold me about this place and told me to get the dry pot, so checked the place out while visiting EL. I looked at the menu and for the dry pot, you need to select a min. of seven items from the menu. If doing dry pot, let the staff know, as there's a separate menu for it. I went with med. spice, added: squid x 2, rice noodles x 2, shrimp x 2, beef brisket x 2, pork belly x 2, baby bokchoy x 1, chinese cabbage x 1, egg plant x 1, dry tofu x 2, & enoki mushroom x 1 Yes, added a lot and it's because the menu was not helpful. Lot of the items are singular, couldn't tell if "Squid" meant 1 or 1 serving. If it was 1 serving, how many squids came in a serving? As I wasn't sure, some of them I ended up ordering two. IE: Shrimp, I got 2 orders, there were 9 or 10 shrimps... had I know 1 order was equal to 5 shrimps, I would have ordered just 1. I wish they would update their menu to reflect the topping items so the customers know how many comes in a order. My bill came out to $70, yeah, it can get expensive! It took some time to get the food... but because I ordered lot of items, the food that came out was good for 5 people :) It was good, loved the medium spice and definitely hit the spot. Oh and yes, had leftover and took it home. I thought I was going a good job of eating, but barely made dent in the plate. I brought the leftovers home and had two more meals out of it. If you are in EL area, definitely visit the place and if you go, go with friends to try other offerings. If you are solo diner and ordering dry pot, only order one item of each from the list and 7 items from the list will be plenty for one person. Three stars for now.

Lucky's is right down the street from our new place and is perfect! We ordered delivery and it was delivered quickly and was hot upon arrival; too hot to eat even right away! The food was fresh and crispy. The chicken was actual pieces of cut of chicken breast deep fried to perfection with the right amount of sauce and spice! The egg rolls were crispy, simple and perfect. And, the hot and sour soup was also spiced to perfection with great consistency, filled with mushrooms and thin bamboo shoots. So good! The delivery driver was kind and quick. We will definitely order again!

I got the 10 oz prime rib, and it was cooked to perfect medium rare. The horseradish sauce was very tasty. The potatoes were decadent with more butter than potato. My wife ordered the salmon New Orleans. She is gluten free, and our server knew the menu well, informing her about what was gluten free and what wasn't. She loved her meal. My oldest got their signature burger, and she also loved it. With the crazy low prices, huuuuuge portions (3 to go boxes), and delicious food, we will definitely be back next time we're passing through.
