But the only downside for me was the amount of oil they used and the steamed rice was sort of cold and dry. Like it had been sitting for a while and it was not piping hot. I guess that's my personal preference being an Asian. Plus the entrees were little bit oily to our liking. But that may work for you. The place could be a little more clean, I meant the floor especially, the service was slow. The server took some time to take our order.

They were furious that my elderly dad was "taking too long" to place his order for four people (he was not, at all) and acting like it's somehow our fault that they only have a single phone line. Give me a break (take-out only establishment, by the way). They then proceeded to promptly cancel my dad's order and shoo me out, all the while cussing at me in Mandarin, at which point I walked out of there (for the last time). You would do well to AVOID this place at all costs, trust. Not to mention, I've had their food more than a few times before, and it is not even NEARLY good enough to justify them being this nasty towards their patrons. Their offerings are the very definition of "sodium-infused slop" and "mediocre at best" and they act like we are lucky to be allowed to purchase them. What a joke! Do yourself a HUGE favor (like I did) and pay a little extra for a place with WAY better people and service, and MILES better quality food, places such as Shangri-La (amazing!), for example. After placing our order, the website said our food would be ready in about 15 minutes, but really, we ended up waiting for 30+ minutes for our food. So that's something we'll take into account the next time we order on a busy night. Otherwise, from the moment we walked in after 8pm, every table in this place was full, and all the employees were working hard to make sure people were taken care of. So it's only fair to give them some grace while we waited for our food. Otherwise, the servers made sure to let us know they were working on our order. Since we'd ordered take out, we ate at home, and the food made it seem worth the wait. This is not "cheaper = more food" Chinese food. This tasted like an authentically cooked meal with complex favors that rationalized the higher than expected prices. The next time we come, we might just look for a table inside the restaurant for a different experience, but we'll definitely be back to try more of their offerings!
