Unfortunately, no pictures with review. I picked up a carryout order on way put to friend's house. Ordered combos [2 General Tso's chicken, 2 sweet & sour chicken (sauce on side), cashew chicken, sesame chicken], fried shrimp, crab rangoon, and fried dumplings. While the eggrolls (cabbage/pork) were not my cup of tea (I'm a bean sprout/baby shrimp kinda girl), the food and appetizers were hot, fresh and delicious. Portion size were sufficient and our crew of 7 has plenty to eat with leftovers. Fast, friendly, and attentive service. There is a dining room with seating, but not sure if it the location of storefront (gets direct sunlight) or heat from kitchen but interior was rather warm around 5pm. Great portions, very fresh, and reasonably priced. I called 10-15min before closing according to Apple Maps. They took my order without a problem which was very nice. Everything tasted great. The egg rolls are a bit different here but I almost prefer these to anywhere else now. The inside was very nice and had a warm welcoming feel. They give great service with a smile and have some chopsticks and other gifts for sale which I haven't seen since I was a kid. I ordered the Orange Chicken Dinner Combo to go. The orange chicken was about 70% breading & 30% rubber chicken. It really was uneatable. After 4 pieces, I threw it away. The fried rice was decent & the egg roll was alright, but the chicken was awful. I don't know about the other combos, but I wouldn't get anything that has breading on it again. read more

China Delight is exactly that. A delight. I drive over 30 minutes to order from here, because the Chinese options (which are plentiful) near me are horrid. I used to live near here and was shocked to learn how the poor quality of some Chinese food was in other areas of Metro Detroit. You can't go wrong with their fried wontons. Food was not good. I got Almond Boneless Chicken and it was basically chicken tenders and rice. Gravy was not good either.

Was a little skeptical after reading some online reviews.... First appearance is really bad. Their covid plexiglass barrier is in the middle of the restaurant where people used to dine in. It wasn't quite long enough so they added some plastic trash bag wall and then some large cardboard boxes. Then once I gave my cash, they gave me change from another cardboard box and soup cups filled with coin sitting on some chairs! This is probably my biggest complaint. It's a messy setup that looks dirty upon entering and makes you really nervous about what you just ordered. The staff wasn't too friendly, but not rude. Just the bare minimum. The food- I ordered a variety so I could try different things. They were all good, not the best I've had, but good. Felt like some of the items could have used a bit more flavor. All packaged and presented nicely and good portions. Everything was really hot too! Giving 4 stars cause I'm not trying to give a horrible review and make them terrible. Well, it's been approximately a year since we've ordered from this place ....and NOTHING HAS CHANGED. After placing the order, we were told it would be ready in 25 minutes. Went to the restaurant and had to wait an additional 30 minutes inside. There were four cooks. Still waiting. Seven other customers waiting with me. I was there 20 minutes before I saw any orders going out the door. RIDICULOUS! This is the last time I'll give them my money. ADDED: When I got home, they didn't give me the sweet and sour sauce I needed for one of the meals!!! Not worth going back to get. We have eaten here several times, all take out. Staff is friendly enough. My wife always gets Almond Boneless with white rice. She likes it because the gravy is on the side. I ended up getting the Chicken Pad Thai. Not impressed. First there is a funky smell, could be the egg but not sure. The noodles are pink! Why would they be pink? I have found more egg than chicken and no peanuts. We will be back but I won't try their Thai food again. read more

Sadly this is the only Chinese food restaurant within a 5 mile radius from me. My last go to spot is over 10 miles away now. So it was time to find another spot. The place is in an ideal spot for the little town that it's in. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. The food is not worth making the trip again even if it is the only Chinese restaurant in town. The fried rice was salty and the chicken was chewy....The egg rolls were gross. They had mainly bean sprouts in them so they tasted dirty. I opened it up and the egg roll on the inside was still doughy. I'm surprised it was this bad because of the location. read more

I'm not sure why this place is rated so low. One time I came in and they seemed backed up but the food was good and hot. You get a monster portions for what you pay. Eaten here 3 times already and the food was fresh and there seemed to be a lot of people eating here. Staff isn't overly friendly but they are just focused. For a little further drive you get more food, faster service and for a cheaper price. They also don't have plum sauce? What kind of Chinese restaurant don't have plum sauce for egg rolls and gives out packaged duck sauce?? I love this place! The staff are friendly and the service is fast. This is some of the best Chinese food that I've ever had.

1. Young man on the phone was terribly rude when I placed the order. But I was desperate, and proceed with placing my order. 2. I was 10 minutes early picking up my order ... but, it was waiting for me on the counter? 3. On the drive home, there was no tantalizing smell wafting from my bag, I thought that was odd ... 4. ... until I tasted it, then realized why it had none of the typical yummy Chinese food smell. I live in the Lenox area and this is the closest place to get chinese food to my house at a decent price. I don't understand why the reviews are bad since I've been frequently ordering takeout here for years and everything I've gotten is pretty good especially if you order during their lunch special. It says it offers eat in but nobody really eats in here it's mostly just takeout although you can if you want to. It's decent food at a good price and a favorite of the locals. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Now normally I think going out of your way to trash a place is douchy and morally wrong. But after today I can't not warn people. First off we were grossly overcharged, by $17 and change. Then when asked if we could get our money back the lady told us no. She started yelling at us to get out and if we had a problem, "call the police". While we were arguing with the counter worker about getting my money back the cook dropped his spatula on the ground, picks it up and puts it right back in their wok (Chinese pan for cooking). I will never go back there. They have a pending health department investigation now. I guess people that love this place never had really good Chinese food ever in their life ,this was horrible,the fried rice was hard and had no flavor, the egg rolls were way too salty and only stuffed with bean sprouts and didn't have the plum sauce for it , the general Taos chicken was hard and were like eating rocks, you could tell they used frozen boneless wings . We had three different dishes and all of them were inedible and were thrown away!!! read more
