The food is delicious, the service is great, and the prices are fair for the portions. One thing that really caught my attention was how carefully they packed and organized my takeout order. It may sound funny, but if they put that much care into packing food, it gives me confidence in how they handle things in the kitchen. The bathrooms were clean too, which is always a plus. Great food, good service, and attention to detail. Definitely worth a visit.

It was close to 30 mins later when we were told our table was ready. Service was kind of slow, but it wasn't because the servers were slacking. On the contrary, they were running around the entire time. We started with a PuPu platter, which was a lot of food and all very good. We then split orders of the teriyaki chicken and Mongolian beef. Plates are large, and there's a lot of food. Again, both dishes were quite good. We had leftovers to take back to the AirBnB. We'd definitely come back next time we're in Surprise.

I can only speak to their dine-in service, as I have yet to order take out or delivery. I really like their dinner specials. With that, you can choose from a variety of entrees and they come with a cup of soup (your choice of hot and sour or egg drop), an egg roll, a side of fried rice, and a crab puff. We both really like the crab puffs and usually order an appetizer portion of them as well. My favorite entree lately is the shrimp lo mein, but the sweet and sour chicken is really good as well. The restaurant itself is typically pretty quiet and comfortable. The servers are very prompt and attentive. This is a great spot!

The gentleman who greeted us when we walked in was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience really nice. The prices are reasonable, and our food came out nice and hot. We really enjoyed the egg drop soup, although I didn't get a picture of that. My boyfriend had the Mongolian Beef lunch, and I ordered the Shrimp & Vegetables. You can choose between a cream sauce or a soy-based sauce, and I went with the soy-based sauce. It was good, and I also liked that they served brown rice. Overall, we had a nice lunch and enjoyed trying Wong Junior's. The service was friendly, the food was hot, and the prices were reasonable. Definitely a nice option when you're in the mood for Chinese food.

Upon entering we were being seated but after 3 tries of tables that weren't wiped off we finally got seated. There were so many flies surrounding our table. The waitress appeared new and I was patient with her, then she proceeds to tell us she's on her period so she can't perform well. That is information I did not need to know or think about as I'm about to eat lunch. When our food finally arrived, I was sadly disappointed. The egg rolls and wonton tasted like it was fried in very old over used oil. My hot and sour soup and usual go to chicken lomein had little to no flavor. After talking to my daughter she said she shared the same experience recently. I don't know what changed, but I don't plan on going back. Hopefully they can find their passion for cooking again, and get experienced staff that are willing to clean and not discuss personal hygiene, otherwise they will continue to disappoint long standing patrons.

Somehow the guy taking the order thought I was ordering the House Special Chicken dish and proceeded to make it. I had texted my wife what I had ordered and she called me to tell me about the mix up on the rice. I know that I said fried rice to him but he repeated everything and in hindsight I think he did say House special chicken but I just thought that's what they call the meat loaded fried rice. Anyway, I told her to ask them if they can split the difference on the chicken but she told me the manager already told her that he would make the rice for no charge and to keep the house special chicken and let them know how it was. Shows the management knows how to treat a customer. Now for the food. As much as I already like the management, I'm definitely not going to rate the food highly if it isn't good. What are the odds that a manager like that is going to allow poorly cooked food out of his kitchen? Every dish was excellent .Out of the 4 entrees we got the House special chicken (which he asked my wife to try and I didn't order) was the best of all. The other 3 and the rice were all excellent as well. They use the right amount of oil and seasonings. Everything fresh and no pools of oil. I probably order Chinese food 2-3 times per year on average. I might up that to once a month or so now that I've found Shanghai. I didn't meet the manager or possibly owner but I wanted to give a shout out to the exemplary service and food.
