Most of the food was hot, maybe one or two dishes seemed lukewarm. They advertise "crab legs" but really it's a seafood boil mix, with very little crab. You have to get in right when they are serving up a new tray and you may get a claw or two, otherwise they are super tiny, skinny legs that aren't worth the work to crack and eat. Peanut butter chicken is good. The staff are nice and very eager to bus your empty plates. It looks clean, however the restroom could use some more attention. We were charged gratuity the first time. We had 4 adults and 2 smaller children, who really didn't eat much. I didn't want to cause a fuss, so we paid it, but it seems silly to me.

I choose to get the stir fry here at Great Wall. I was excited. When I got back to my table, took…read moremy first bite and quickly realized the beef was rotten. I am in no way a picky eater, but when I take a bite of food I know isn't right, I stop eating and inform the staff. That was my plan, except no staff was around. Upon leaving I told the front desk lady who happily takes the money. Her response to me was "we don't have beef". When I informed her it was on the air fry station, she doubled down, "we dont have beef". When I took her there and showed her, she said, "Oh sorry", turned and left me in front of the rotten beef and returned to her station up front. She did not inform anyone else, I watched her go back up front, grab her phone and proceed to play her game which I so rudely interrupted her from. Beyond that if u look above the stir fry station, it has not been cleaned in YEARS. I will NOT ever be back. That is sad as I have been coming here for years.

They're constantly scraping large amounts of food off that become burnt to the grill. I've never seen another location have this issue to this degree. It also makes the line go a lot slower. We came on a Sunday for lunch and it took one of our members 20 minutes to get through the grill line after filling up their bowls. Hope they can figure out the issue and speed it up a bit.

Driving through Salem? Looking for Korean BBQ?…read moreThis place is it! The tables are spaced out, and the vent hoods are low to the grills which keeps customers from getting smoke in our eyes. The chicken is cut thinner so it cooks faster than other Korean BBQs that I've been to. The menu has photos so when you order, you clearly know what you're getting. Plenty of street parking available and the storefront had lovely plants at the entrance. Walking in felt a little crowded and awkward because of the small entryway. But it did look like they have a few booths, tables, window seating, and even a bigger private room in the back. The lunch specials were $9.99 which was an amazing value for sure! I got the Happy Bimbim Bap with chicken and my hubby got the Spicy Pork Bento Box (the bigger one for $15) The friendly staff set up our table and gave us all hot and freshly made green onion pancakes which was a nice touch! (Although it was a little too oily) Our food came out super fast - within 10 minutes of ordering?! The kids and I enjoyed all the veggies and egg for my bimbim bap but the chicken were cut until small pieces were just ok. My husband did enjoy his Spicy Pork with a good amount of spice (they asked him if he wanted spicy) and came with potstickers, California rolls, rice, and a side salad. My daughter actually really loved the green bean banchan and the daikon and kimchi were super delicious too! The owner came to our table to say hi to the kids and each table got watermelon as dessert (the Asian way!) She was so nice and offered extra watermelon for the kids if they wanted it. It also looked like they do a lot of local community work with the homeless and were super involved in providing food to those that need it. Such a lovely local restaurant.
