This place is DELICIOUS!! I've wanted to try Chimac since it opened, but I wasn't sure what it was and I'm not a fan of the parking lot... today they offered $3 off on Postmates so I thought, what the heck. Let's give them a shot. Boy am I glad I did! I ordered their KBBQ Bowl + 6 Wings + Drink so I could try a little variety. I ordered the chicken bbq and it was so tender and had a delicious flavor. It tasted almost exactly like the bourbon chicken you crave from the mall that came on a bed of white rice, cooked cabbage and I think kimchee (spicy cabbage?). Whatever it was went perfect with the dish. I wish I would have upgraded the rice for their noodles. I bet those were yummy! The portion was HUGE and well worth the money. As for the wings, I'll never eat at Buffalo Wild Wings or WingStop again. The wings were super thick with tons of juicy meat. The wings were priced perfectly and came drenched in sauce. I ordered the hot lemon pepper and honey garlic pepper. The hot lemon pepper was spot on, however the honey garlic pepper was the star of the show. I've never had honey wings before but man, those were crispy and had delicious sweet flavor. If you're thinking of ordering here, I doubt you'll be disappointed. I would have uploaded pics, but the food was too good to stop eating read more

Hands down 5 stars for delicious food. Food We got the chicken bowl with noodles, kkb steak bowl with fried rice combo with houstonlanta wings. This was a to go order and the food was sizzling hot! Nice and fresh! Everything was delicious but the kbbq chicken bowl was the winner. Portion Maybe it was because I was hungry or the food was that good but I had no kbbq bowl left overs. I was satisfied. The combo meal definitely was 2 days worth of food and my hubby was happy with his choice but also wanted the kbbq bowl. Now a lot of restaurants do not make good chicken but Chimac was excellent. Note The outside of the restaurant unfortunately does look sketchy but the interior is very cute and clean. I would actually sit there and eat. read more

I ordered the spicy kbbq wings, fries, and a phillycheese steak sandwich for delivery yesterday. I was very satisfied and look forward to my leftovers today. What I appreciated the most was the friendliness of the person who I spoke with over the phone and the two masks that they included in my delivery. I appreciate businesses who do little things to show their own appreciation. read more

Surprisingly good Korean fire chicken and rice bowls. I liked the dry rubbed chicken more because less messy to eat. Quick and good.

This rating is based on the wings and french fries. The wings are amazing! By far the best wings I have had, I've tried wings from all these restaurants such as buffalo wild wings, wing stop, pluckers, hooters...I've tried wings from a couple places is my point, and these have all of them beat. I tried this place over a year ago when I lived in Jersey village and I have since moved further away from there, but I still make the drive because of how consistent the flavor on the wings and fries are. For my kids I buy the honey garlic because they're still toddlers and can't handle the heat(still really good btw). I personally like the spicy Korean BBQ,Cajun, honey cajun, Houstonatlanta(if you like BBQ), and lemon pepper. I've yet to try about 2 flavors but so far they're all great. The French fries are amazing as well, can't really describe them but the flavor is amazing. I've ate good food at nice restaurants before such as season 52, Texas de Brazil, Xochi, and the capital grille. I've ate sucky food like MRE's.(meal ready to eat , this stuff will not expire for decades) these wings are pretty epic, will definitely continue coming here even if I move further away. I would highly recommend everyone to give this place a shot when considering wings and fries, they won't disappoint. read more

I've passed by this place several times and finally decided to try it out (after reading the reviews). I called in my order & the young lady that answered was very professional and helpful. The delivery service was fast & the gentleman was friendly. The food smelled wonderful and tasted even better. The food arrived hot, fresh and was very flavorful. I'm a 1st time customer, my family & I loved our meals & we'll definitely order again. read more

Initially I was gonna give 1* bc they f'd up my order so damn bad. I got two bowls w wings and they totally forgot my wings. Like left them out completely then sent a text telling me that I could get a coupon and they would take care of me on my next order I had asked if they could just bring my wings but I was told that they were understaffed. That would've been acceptable had I not spent $50 on food. I was livid. I wanted my whole order TF? About 25-30min later the chef personally delivered my wings. Everything was bomb asfffffff the wings were smackin, the rice and veggies included in the bowls were good as hell. The grilled chicken is amazing. Idk what they're seasoning the chicken w but my god they're going the damn thing! After eating my food I was sad that I didn't opt in to get the coupon next time I fw Chimac I'm gonna pick up my food and check my order before I dip out but I'll be back for sure! Round of applause for the flavor and quality of food Thumbs down for the customer service read more

I love this place. The combo Korean bowls and wings hit the spot every time. Highly recommend to both locals and tourists alike.

This place is one of the best Asian-fusion places I've been to! I tried the wing and bowl combo + the kimchi fries. The kimchi fries were so tasty and I loved the dressing it comes with! The only complaint I really have is that the bowls come with a huge amount of carbs and not much protein. If you check the photos, the meat is shredded and it looks like more than it is because basically under 1 layer of meat it's a whole bunch of rice/noodles. Its still super delicious, but for the price I wish there was more protein. read more

Don't let the outside of the building fool you. This place is FIRE! I had the half and half spicy chicken/steak bowl with noodles. My boyfriend had a combo (6 wings and a half and half bowl with chicken/shrimp). The food was so good we were sad to have to fly back home to Cali before we could have another meal here. There were quite a few great wing flavor options. We absolutely loved the sweet lemongrass chili flavor. They only have one location for now. I'm hopeful they expand soon. The food is hot, fresh, and full of flavor. A definite must try for anyone in the Houton area. read more

Came back several times to see if the quality is as inconsistent as it seems. And yes it is. I've come to the conclusion that whoever their cook is on the weekends, is great. Weekends are when wings are cooked properly and fried until crispy. Their cook on weekdays does not fry the wings properly. It is always soggy and flavorless. Hence, my 3 star review. read more

Worst chicken wings ever. Rice not good either. This is at the 1960 location. Won't ever be going bad...

I did not really care much for this, especially for the price, no one rang the doorbell so it also was cold. The wings were not crispy they were mushy on the outside. It was $86.00 for two bowl and 12 wings. It was nothing like the picture, and did t have any of the toppings it was supposed to. The pork was okay. read more

After reading so many positive reviews about this spot, I had to check it out. I drove 35 minutes to get there, went through the drive thru and was pleasantly greeted. The young lady was wearing her face mask, gloves and ready to take my order. I had lots of questions and she answered all of my questions in a professional yet caring manner. I had to pull over and wait between 5-10 minutes for my order. By the time I made it home, my food was still piping hot and oh so good. I had enough to eat for two days!!! I'm very shiesty with giving out the 5 star reviews, but this place gets it. Never judge a book by it's cover is all I can say. Great food! I always order the Korean chicken spicy with either rice or noodles. Now fair warning, it is quite hot. Too hot for my family's sake. But for me personally, I love it.
