I was looking for Korean food close by and was wary of a place called "Chimac" and even more wary of a place that looked like a chicken fast food place. I figured I'd give their bulgogi fried rice a try. First of all the cashier Blanca did an awesome job!!! Friendly and helpful. Second: the bulgogi bowl was surprisingly delightful, even coming with a little side of kimchi and what I assume was some steamed cabbage. The bulgogi was very good and the kimchi had a great taste to eat. The guy who brought the food to me was awesome and friendly (wish I knew his name). They come in either grilled chicken or beef, spicy or regular. Plentiful helpings for the price. They also offer cheesesteak sandwiches, burgers, and fried chicken wings. The wings come in a variety of sauces for any set of taste buds. Highly recommend the Houstalanta BBQ and Spicy KBBQ. Great quality wings for any occasion. What stands out about this place to me is the combo deals. They have a Korean BBQ rice bowl combo that comes with the bowl, 6 wings, and a drink for around $12. More than enough food for one person, and with a side could be split between two. The family combos are perfect for 4 or more people. They have a 30 wing deal for $20; a 30 wing, 1 bowl, 2 sides, and 4 drinks for about $26. More than enough for a family of 4 at a great price. There are also larger combos for more people that are great for feeding a lot of people without the hassle of cooking. This is my second visit. Great customer service. First visit they gave me chicken bbq bowl instead of steak, but quickly rectified it and told me to keep the chicken. I got the Cajun and HoustAtlanta BBQ and really enjoyed them. So much so, I returned and used the coupon they gave me to get two more orders of the same. Ok, Chimac. So I read your response to my last review, and decided to give you a second chance, because I know that you're capable of being a five star restaurant. I was perusing through DoorDash, and found out that you sell burgers made from Angus beef. I am a burger snob, to say the least. I figure that if a restaurant sells burgers and they don't get the burger right, then there's not much else that they can do right. So I figured that it was the perfect order for you to prove yourself. So I ordered a Angus cheeseburger with your onion rings and a Coke. About 30 minutes later, the Dasher showed up. Naturally being hungry, I said, "Let's get right to it." First up is the onion rings. I did like the heavy crunch on them. My main complaint on these is that they may need a little extra salt when they come out of the fryer. I did notice on one of the onion rings, two of the rings were stuck together before frying. I'm not going to fault you for it, because you could've done that intentionally to keep the onion rings from falling apart. I'll give the onion rings a 3.5 out of 5 rating without the salt, and a 4 with it. Just an idea: Serve the onion rings with some kind of spicy dipping sauce. That could potentially take them over the top. Now to the burger. I can confirm that your burger patties are indeed made with Angus beef. The meat tasted like a burger that you would cook on the backyard grill in the summer. Cheese was well melted. The bun was nicely toasted. It had a enjoyable crisp, slightly reminiscent of an In-N-Out Burger bun, which I enjoy. The vegetables were very fresh, especially the lettuce and red onions. Just the right amount of mayo, mustard, and ketchup was present. The burger is messy, but in a very good way, because a messy burger is a better burger. It gets a 4.5 out of 5 rating. And don't bother ordering the fried rice with chicken, they'll give you boiled chicken with no flavor on top instead of frying the chicken with the rice. The ribeye bowl is great though, if you're going to get something go with that. Can't say as much for ordering the chicken. Do beware they don't give a lot of meat, just a lot of rice.
