We had a much needed cleaning of our chimney and dryer vent. Chim chim cheree was very responsive. We set up an appointment a couple weeks out. They gave me a two hour window of time for arrival. Rory called the day of to let me know when he would arrive. He was very pleasant and professional. The process was quick and very clean. The only sign they were there was the fresh smell in the air. The faint soot scent that had been lingering was gone! He let our neighbors know they might want to close their windows in case Something blows in their direction. If I could select 0 stars I would . I was referred by a lady on Nextdoor for this company . I called and made an appointment to get my fire lighter repaired in my fireplace because it was cracked . They said send us pictures. I sent the lady a picture. She called back after looking at the pictures and said someone was coming Friday ( today) . A man came in on time and started cleaning the fireplace , didn't say anything so I thought ok he's cleaning it to install the new fire starter . He gets done and says I can refer you to another company to replace the fire starter!!! Charges me $209 for the cleaning ! I am appalled . You knew you didn't fix the fire starter and still came here to clean my fireplace which I never asked for and never explained that's all you were doing ! Not a way to do business! I was recommended Rory by my realtor and called to get an estimate on cleaning/inspection and liner replacement. Unfortunately liner replacement is the one thing he doesn't do, but I must say he went over and above to help me out. He stopped by the house while he was in the area to check it out and had me send him pics from the home inspection to give me his advice on what I should do.
