However I had a very pleasant experience with them during the quote process, and that deserves a nice review! They were very professional in their communications with me and quick to respond to me and schedule a visit to get me a quote. I felt like they valued me as a potential customer and gave me a fair quote. I spoke with John via Yelp and over the phone, and he was very nice. José came to give me a quote and seemed knowledgeable and had some recommendations that made sense to me. This was a breath of fresh air compared to some of the other companies I spoke with.

I am very grateful for the Corcoran team -- and hope that you will learn to depend on them as much…read moreas I have over the past 12+ years. As part of a remodel project, I needed makeup air to compensate for walls and ductwork that would be removed. First, they conducted an on-site assessment of the residence and provided a detailed proposal for their services. Months later they were able to quickly assign a crew to do the work before the remodeling began. Multiple, seasoned team members got the job done well under the time estimated. Professional, kind and thorough, the Corcoran team ensured the automated controller and electrical setup with the damper was in working order and even took time to explain how it was implemented, including placement for easy maintenance in the future. No detail was left undone. They were happy to explain the inner workings to me so that I felt comfortable with how it all worked end-to-end. Their team lead also capitalized on an unexpected opportunity to coordinate their efforts with our remodeler, who was also on-site the same day. He made sure he understood how the makeup air system and damper control could work with the new kitchen range hood that would be installed the following month. The sheet metal fabrication fit and finish on the new ductwork shows how much attention to detail the ownership instills in their team. They care about their craft and doing things right the first time. I continue to be a customer of Corcoran because of experiences like this one. I'm never disappointed and am always left with the feeling like the work was done correctly and communicated respectfully. Kudos to Corcoran for making customers for life!

I have nothing but great things to say about Things 2 Fix. After a massive renovation project, we…read morewere left with two bathtubs that were leaking into the units below us. We had three different contractors come out to repair the leaks. All of them left us with outrageous bills, threats of litigation, and bathtubs that still leaked. After receiving payment, none of them would honor their "warranties" and come back to fix their deficient work. When I initially found Jon on Yelp, I was skeptical. I decided to give him a chance because I had no other options. They were extremely responsive and were able to come out in a few days. They fixed both leaks and honored their warranties for minor things I noticed after they left. Their prices are very reasonable. Furthermore, they are actually licensed, which is rare for most services that you find on Yelp. Most contractors will present a license, but have unlicensed workers do the actual work to cut costs. They are also extremely trustworthy and I would have them work in my home with no one present. If you have any issues, I highly recommend you contact them. They will not disappoint. As to the negative reviews left by Ryenne and Amy, all I can say is that Things 2 Fix was one of the most responsive contractors I have come across. They will be my first call if I ever need assistance again.

I said ok I looked at that review my insurance adjuster had issued and part of the check belonged to me. They had an addendum for the opening and closing of the concrete which I believe was $2300. John turner said I should hand him the check plus my deductible and if there was anything left when they were done I'd get my portion of the check back via check or cash (strike 1) All the floor got cleaned the paneling and drywall cut, I'm assuming the framing cleaned as well. Concrete poured, dumpster filled. Dehumidifier going. I received check from insurance company and told john turner I had to send it which I overnighted it to my mortgage company and he said and we gonna keep charging and keep going. Friday was the last day their crew was here, Saturday they poured concrete (paid $700 for outside concrete guy, (said concrete would be completely dry I. 24-36 hours) charged me $1000 for making a phone call) nobody came Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Monday then a lone woman came prolly to clean up dust from concrete work. Nobody told me nothing that nobody was coming out for over a week. Strike 2 and 3. This Job started end of October my house is flipped upside down inside out. Their crew I understand in and out they propped screen door open but for like 3 days while taking out trash left the prop on and unfortunately bent my rear screen door. I'm hoping they sell the door closer at Home Depot because it's completely bent. I told them if they are waiting for the check to complete the job then don't come back. I don't pay my auto mechanic before they do repairs. I don't pay carpet cleaners before they clean carpets. Why would I pay for a $19,000 job + after deductible when the demo isn't even completed. Hell they didn't even tear the carpet off the stairs. I'm sure I paid for the dumpster. I received check on Saturday deposited it cleared on Wednesday. John turner picked up check for the demo work they did (over $7000) picked up check and told my wife the dumpster was being picked up tomorrow. Is that his call? Or is it because he was fired for job abandonment without telling homeowners hey we're not coming back for over a week (not the week of thanksgiving probably 2nd week in November) Don't get me wrong they did a phenomenal job with the demo work. Just to much negatives to continue with this company. I got guys coming out to hang drywall at $16 a sheet. Flooring im gonna do as well as painting. Gonna have to order a new dumpster and pay for another 1 because NatCat thinks my adjuster is their liaison and my adjuster is gonna contact me. You'd think you open your home to this company and homeowners have your company here when homeowners aren't home but do not have the decency to say hey Mr---- or Mrs ----- we ain't gonna be here next week. I got nothing but crickets. Then once paid they call to pickup dumpster and yet leave garbage bags of clothes trashed still in basement.

They leave and charge me $500. I get the invoice a week later and I see that they also charged me $150 for "repairs." They never went and did ANY repairs to my chimney. They also don't have the proper tools to inspect chimneys. They stuck their hands with their phones into my chimney and took a blurry video and gave me that as proof that they had cleaned. Other chimney guys have endoscopes that actually go deep inside the chimney. Fast forward to a week ago, my hvac guy comes back after the cleaning and lets me know that I am still not getting enough draft from my chimney. So essentially the RM duct cleaning guys did nothing and collected $500 from me. I called their support desk and they don't have my address on file. I speak to someone else and they assure me that they'll contact me within the next hour to have this resolved. It's been a week and no response. My hvac guy recommended "Vertical Chimney Care." They came and properly cleaned the chimney, they gave me a great inspection with the proper tools. And only charged me $150 compared to $500! STAY AWAY FROM RM GO WITH Vertical Chimney Care!
