Enter Dan Dobrenick and the rest of the team at Durable Roofing and everything was smooth sailing. Dan led my wife and I through the whole claims process for BOTH of our claims and made certain that ALL damage was covered and replaced properly. He walked us through the building codes, the shingles, the venting, the gutters... I truly couldn't be more happy with both the assistance and the quality of the work. The insurance dance took some time (current building codes had to be adhered to, etc.) but in the end, with little more than a few phone calls and a few visits from appraisers, Dan was able to get the entirety of the damage covered, replaced and looking better than ever.

We hired McMahon Services to replace a door frame and to repair a hole in the concrete foundation…read moreof our house, for $1200.00. The door frame was no big deal (about 90 minutes' work), but they couldn't figure out to repair our wall using concrete, SO THEY JAMMED A PIECE OF 2x4 INTO THE WALL AND CAULKED THE EDGES. (see attached photo.) I emailed them to complain (no supervisor ever showed up to inspect the 'finished' job) and to request some kind of discount on their ridiculous price, and this is the response I received from their office manager: "I have discussed this with my management team, and after thorough internal review, we have determined that this price accurately reflects the scope of the services provided and resources that we bring to each project." Of course, the contract they make you sign is iron-clad and if we don't cough up the $1200.00 pretty soon they're going to sic all kinds of lawyers after us (at our expense, no less). So..... now you've all been warned. Once you've booked their services... you're on the hook for what THEY CONSIDER to be quality work, as you can see with your own eyes. (Note: We live in the NW suburbs of Chicago - not sure why this review says I live in San Francisco).

That led me to Brandon, who helped me through the entire process. Brandon worked seamlessly with my insurance company and was incredibly kind and patient. He inspected the roof with a flashlight and chalk, like he was the homicide detective of roofing. He was very thorough and found every bit of damage. After walking me through the process, the insurance company came out, confirmed the damage, and things moved quickly from there. All I had to do was sign a few papers and pick a roof color. It was so easy. The roofing team was very respectful of my wife's garden and flowers, which are close to the house, and they did a great job protecting windows and other parts of the house during their work and cleaned everything up very well afterward. I learned I have more complicated, older-style gutters, which needed a specialist of sorts to get them back to pre-damage condition (or better), and they handled it all perfectly. They also replaced my window wraps after finding hail damage there too. Now the exterior of my house looks like it got a full makeover. I'd highly recommend Pro-Resto and Brandon to help you through the whole process. Even if you don't think you have much damage, let them take a look. They're so thorough, and there might be more damage than you think! Thanks guys for a job well done.

I'm glad that we called In & Out Restoration because Angelo and John gave us a clear, accurate estimate and got the work completed quickly and professionally. I say that we initially had trouble finding a company to do the work, not because no one wanted our business but because other companies wanted us to sign contracts that would empower them to negotiate directly with our insurance provider and, from my perspective, call for repairs that weren't needed. For instance, one roofer whom we called claimed that a beam in our garage had been cracked and needed to be replaced when it clearly hadn't been damaged. The same company wanted us to file a claim for replacing the entire roof of our house, which hadn't been damaged by the falling tree. My take on it was that that company simply wanted to increase the overall cost and scope of the project. In contrast, In & Out Restoration came up with an estimate that was very similar to what our insurance provider had given us. It was a fair, honest price for the work that we needed done, and they completed it well. Beyond that, they were pleasant, friendly people to work with. For that, I will gladly hire this company again the next time we need work done.
