While JJ wasn't the lowest, they were the most comprehensive. For example, all of the other quotes quoted the shingles and work, but JJ Construction quoted shingles, tiles, gutters, and all hardware (new fans/vents/gutters). They are highly skilled. They did not rush the project (who wants a roofer who rushes?) and cleaned up every day. Communication was excellent. They installed Class 4 shingles, which lowered my home owners insurance by 20%. What stood out to us was Enviable was already doing work in the neighborhood. They had a very large crew working on a roof with supervisor, Keith, on site. Keith inspected our roof and siding that day and started the ball rolling with our insurance. He met the insurance adjuster at our house. Enviable worked relentlessly with our insurance to get the maximum paid by them. We decided to upgrade the siding, roof, window wrap and gutters. They replaced the water damaged underlayment and flashing caused by builder(1987) negligence that we suspected but couldn't find. Keith, Seth or Joe were on site every work day and after, checking on the work done the day before. Any minor issues were resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. Superior service! The company came canvasing the neighborhood in late July, spreading the word about other people…read moregetting their homes covered from a storm in May. I thought they must be reputable because they weren't after the storms, but I was weong. We waited over 2 months for our install, with zero updates unless I called and asked what was going on. They dropped off materials about 2 weeks before Halloween, but no update. They only called me when I kept hounding them. Then, they gave a date it ended up snowing on, but instead of depaying only a day or 2, all of the audden it was two more weeks until install. My biggest complaints came during install. Their team left my lawn, driveway, and patheats littered with hundreds of roofing nails. The owner had said they would come back and clean when the snow melted, but they never did...not until I had to complain. There's also the issue of the worker's equipment hitting my van that was parked on the driveway. At first the customer service person was very helpful and said they would come out right away and check the damage. While they allegedly did come out, they never called ahead of time nor did they even attempt to filoow up with me when they didnt find me home. I'm huge on customer servicr, and this company was miserable with it. Of course they were punctual and communicative when they started so they could get that initial money, but then crickets. It's on them for taking on too many jobs and therefore providing terrible service .

Over the last winter, we had two very small roof leaks. It was apparent there had to be enough…read morestanding water and the wind blowing a certain way for the leak to occur. But I still needed it fixed. I called AMB for a REPAIR estimate. What we received instead were two NEW roof estimates. One for $79,455 and the second one for $66,755. This was after they took a core sample. Do your research when working on your roof. We absolutely did not need a new roof. We knew that and every other company that came out, agreed. I was not going to post a review on this ridiculous encounter until the company we actually hired to repair and reseal the roof came across the core sample. They informed us that it was not put back properly and was actually stuck back in with caulk and the caulk used doesn't even adhere to roofing materials. Had this not been found and repaired properly, we could have had serious roof and interior damage. Unbelievable. This whole experience is, at the minimum, really bad business practices. At the most, it borders on fraud and negligence. Buyer beware. Update: I obviously ruffled some feathers. lol. I initially had written a six page review, listing every single detail but decided against posting that. Nobody is interested in reading a novel. Bottom line is we called for a repair. We do not need a new roof. We needed repairs and a reseal. We discussed a repair. AMB pushed for a full, new roof quote as the "repair quote would be 50% of what a new roof would cost". My husband said fine, but that he was really only interested in a repair. Btw, I am only discussing here the house and attached garage. The detached garage is an entirely separate issue. My husband is sitting here flabbergasted at this company's response to the core sample and how it was left. Because what was said here is not what he was told on site. I stand by my review and every word. The sales person saw a big house on 12 acres and assumed deep pockets and a huge sale. Big mistake

New roof looks awesome!! Got it done basically in a day and the entire property was clean before they left. Overall, communication was the absolute highlight. Everyone in the office returned calls and emails immediately. Couple of small issues along the way were fully expected, but they were corrected quickly and to expectations. I would HIGHLY recommend these folks. Oh, they were the best in pricing as well. We had about 5 estimates. Most in the same area with one outlier. Thanks for everything!!
