But after a quick email to confirm the appointment a couple weeks in advance, I was happy to learn that was not the case. Jose was our contractor. He showed up ready to work and did a great job. They promised a remodeled bathroom in 2-3 weeks. After 7 I finally told them I'd have others finish. The paint in the shower is peeling after a few months. The tiles were installed poorly and are crooked. The curb for the shower doesn't slant properly, allowing water to leak out. They scratched the expensive bidet toilet. They didn't install the faucets in the sink properly. There are chips in the tile because they didn't take the spacers out quickly enough. They were late. They left garbage in my garage for weeks. They didn't measure things correctly. Awful experience. I had to be there every minute to supervise or they would have done even more wrong. They were going to use a toxic substance to clean the grout off the tiles after leaving it on for weeks. I had to call the store, the manufacturers of the grout and what they wanted to use, and finally to TELL THEM what they needed to get. Not my job! Don't use them. read more

Definitely recommend AAABR for repairs. They were recommended by my insurance company (USAA) to do fender and passenger door repairs on my Audi. Got in for an estimate right away. Some parts were not readily available but in both cases I got my car back within 10 days. I was pleased with how well the matched the original paint as well. read more

Found the services through Groupon discount offer in the area for two hours of cleaning service. Flexible scheduling and crew of two showed up on-time. They spend one hour and claimed they were done. Upon quick walk through I realized I couldn't tell if any cleaning was done. Very slow workers, and very slight cleaning. Crew claimed that is all the could do. They were paid and on to the next job. I will never use them again. Must be a scam. read more

I hired AAABR Service Company to work on a two-bedroom condominium in Crystal Lake, IL. The owner, Ron Pecorini, is a complete professional all the way. This was one of the best and most satisfying experiences I've ever had in decades of hiring numerous trades people. Ron and his company "check all the boxes" when it comes to communication, work performed, and follow-through. In looking for a painting service, I contacted perhaps six different companies. Three of them never even had the courtesy to respond to phone calls or emails with a simple "no thanks, we're booked." In contrast, Ron was quick to respond and we were able to set up a mutually convenient time to meet. He and his crew manager, Jim, asked detailed questions, took notes, and made suggestions for minor repairs and patching that I might want to consider. His was the "mama bear" quote: I had one higher and one lower, but none of the other companies took as much time to completely understand the project. It was their attention to detail that won them the job. The 1100 sq. ft. unit had to be painted from top to bottom: all ceilings, all walls, all doors and trim. The crew did top-notch work and Ron and Jim set enough people on the job so that it was finished in less than three full days. But the thing that set AAABR apart from most other contractors is that Ron kept me informed every step of the way. I was in another state during the time that the painting was being done, and Ron sent several texts each day to keep me apprised of all activities and progress. I finished the work myself but Ron said he would take care of future work at a discounted price. I am now scheduling more work and when I called the company, Ron answered, he remembered me and the circumstances of the past work. There are many other service companies in the area, I suggest you choose another one. Work was done at my business and in the end I paid for work that never got done. To this day I am owed money. The owner claims I paid a deposit and because I didn't have them perform the work, and did not request a refund in 3 days I am not entitled to that money being returned. Bought a new furnace and air conditioning unit. I had a Bryant 143,000 BTU furnace that was replaced by a 70,000 BTU furnace. I was happy with the old furnace and just replaced it because it was older. The new furnace does not heat my house. At night I sit in my chair with a blanket covering me. Bella came out and said that the furnace was sized correctly. They said that the new furnaces do not heat up the house when the temp. gets too cold. read more
