Where are all the half decent boba places in Whittier? There are NONE. Well, except for this one... But it's actually really good for a change! I tried this place a few months ago for the first time because my girlfriend lives in Whittier and with that being said, she knows Whittier the most and I decided to try this place after she talked about it for some time. I remember my first time, I got their Honeydew Milk Tea and I honestly don't know why I got that because it was just like any other drink of that kind. This time around, I went with their Thai Iced Tea with Honey Boba. Their boba has the perfect consistency with the perfect ratio of chewiness and honey. Damn, that was one delicious drink. PLENTY of seating inside. One day, I saw them streaming League of Legends on the TV's and the other TV on the other side had Baseball playing. I like how they cater for two different genres in one room. There are many different board games available from uno to connect four to monopoly. Parking may be a bit harder to find, but check on the side streets and the ones behind all the stores. **Check-in for your free topping** (Originally $0.50 each) Great find! read more

Regular here. Wife and daughter love the royal milk tea with boba and pudding. Nice that you can request less sugar in the drinks. Hokkaido milk tea, almond milk tea, and the strawberry yogurt drink are all really good as well. Recently tried the fries and popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken is more of a Japanese chicken karaage style than something like Popeyes or KFC, really good as well. read more

Chillin' is the most chillest place with the greatest tasting beverages from all the other tea places my family and I have ever been to. Their beverages are consistent and any one you order is delicious! This place has very friendly and welcoming workers. read more

The girl who took my order was so rude. She looks dark, and mixed like Asian. Lots of makeup. She didn't care to acknowledge anyone standing in line. And when I walked up to give my order she didn't greet anyone. She just looked like it was a bother. She handed me my receipt and looked else where. It wasn't only to my group, it was other ppl waiting in line too! You get customers, learn great customer service. Smh I come here a lot and this is the first time I've had bad service read more

The drinks are good! The aesthetic is really cute! But the service could use a little work. The cashier that took my order was a little rude but maybe they were having a bad day so I'll still give 5 stars read more

Jasmine Green Milk Tea: 3 stars -tea is just okay quality -a little too milky for my taste -very sweet, recommend 50% sugar Boba: 5 stars -the right amount of chewiness Macarons: 2 stars -just okay-ish, and kind of pricey -wouldn't order again Service: 5 stars -Girl at the counter was nice and friendly Parking: Street parking easy to find on weekdays. Overall it's B-rated milk tea, but the ambiance is nice and seems like a great place to socialize. The pricing for a regular-sized drink is cheap ($3-4), so for I would go if you're in the area. read more

Was in desperate need of satisfying a craving for boba. Chillin came up as a suggestion and boy did they come through. I had the Jasmine Green Milk Tea Large with Boba and Lychee Jelly. The tea was just the right amount of sweetness. The boba was perfect, nice and chewy and tasted fresh. The lychee Jelly was the perfect addition of sweetness as well. Thanks for being open during these trying times and keeping the community sarisfied! I will definitely be back when we get some normalcy back. read more

I went to uptown specifically to get a Thai Tea after my son came and raved about Chillin's Caramel Milk Tea. He loved and I also loved the Thai Tea. I got it in the large size and it might have been too much. It took me a meal after some time later to finish it. I really loved the interior of this place. Im just sad that I did not go before covid. the service was friendly and super fast. Im used to waiting around for a coffee to be ready for a few minutes but they were serving up drinks really quick here. I will definitely continue to come here since they have a ton of drinks on their menu to try out. read more

This spot has the best boba I have ever had. The quality of the tea is good. And the boba is always delicious. Lots of flavors to choose from. And I always get my macrons. But one of the main reasons I love this place is the service. Shout out to the ladies that work there. I see you Kim always handling the orders with a smile. Keep it up everyone! I feel like good service is rare these days. read more

Awesome new boba place! The interior is very spacious. You have smaller tables to the side and long communal tables in the middle. Perfect for both small and large groups. They also have a collection of games such as jenga and connect 4! There are also TVs all around (they were playing basketball!). The royal milk tea was delicious. It was on the creamier side but there was a richness to it that made it a little different from the average boba shop. The caramel iced coffee was way too sweet and artificial so I wouldn't recommend that. They also sell macarons that looked moist and delicious! Can't wait to try it on my next visit. read more

This place is great for a yummy drink, fun games, a group outing, study sash, bible study or group project. Either alone or in a group this is a nice spot to check out, the time you go definitely makes a huge difference. If you want a quieter setting definitely go before 2pm but if you like a crowd, background noise and activity then anytime after the schools are out. read more

**First impression: This shop is so capacious you can hear your voice echo when you whisper.** All jokes aside, it's definitely a 'chill & upbeat' experience here at Chillin. Other than merely hanging out, there's stuff to do around like writing on that ginormous chalk wall(good luck fitting in your script), playing jengas and other table games, or just simply watching your favorite sports team on the TV while enjoying your drink. If you want a pic for IG, try the colored angel wings by the entrance. Service: Customer service was decent. It didn't take them awhile to make our drinks despite the flow of customers. Make sure to check-in for your free topping so that you can use that .50¢ to upgrade your cup size instead. It's a pretty big upgrade. Taste: During my first visit here w my man, I tried Almond Milk Tea for the very first time... I wasn't a fan at all. Idk I just wasn't expecting it would taste like a sweetened horchata. Was it supposed to? His Almond Mocha drink was a better choice imo. Today I opted for the Royal Milk Tea, which was basically regular milk tea, and boy did I finish that really quick! My sister got the chocolate slush and boyyyy was that rich in chocolate. Yum yum. Kids will probably love that one. Overall this is a good spot to be 'Chillin', get it? read more

I came here 12/4/17 @ around 4:10p and there was a lady that helped me (short hair in a ponytail, forgot to ask her name) I made a purchase of large Thai tea boba and Regular size of Royal milk tea with boba. She was very patient as I don't know what to order, she was very helpful and the service was fast. I'm from Cerritos and would def come back here and actually make this spot to study and bring my friends. I also like the atmosphere and the design of this place. Their tea is 5/5 because unlike other places they don't drown your drink with ice. Their Royal MT also isn't too creamy and too watered down, just perfect. My boyfriend has the Thai MT and he thought it was by far the best Thai MT ever (& we've tried a lot of places bec it's so popular) The place is 5/5. The customer service is 5/5. The price & quality is 5/5. Would definitely come back! read more

4 stars for the drinks + 1 star for the vibes and TV!!! This is the first boba place I have been to that has TVs and I love it!! If you're a boba fiend and a sports fan, come here! It is the perfect place to watch basketball, baseball, football games and grab a drink with friends! I love the atmosphere here! I ordered the mango smoothie with boba. It was delicious! A lot of mango flavor! It didn't taste processed at all! The boba was very so soft! I was actually really surprised! The boba did get pretty hard though, but that's because I got a smoothie. To be honest, I didn't have the highest expectations for this place because Whittier isn't known to have good boba places or boba places in general. I was pleasantly surprised how good this place is. If I'm in the area, I will definitely come back! read more

Nice little spot to hang out with friends and family. Great customer service. I bought a taro smoothie with boba, it was really good. The chocolate macaroons are also great. Walking in here, I thought my boba drink was gonna be good; the ambiance and space is really nice, they have various board games and a cool chalk wall... But my drink was a different story :( I ordered a strawberry/banana smoothie (milk based, maybe they should have a water based?) with boba. At first, my drink was decent but it got sweeter the more I drank it. Don't know if that has to do with the boba and extra juice (don't know if they can strain it any better?) because the boba was too sweet for my taste. Anyway, my strawberry/banana ended up tasting like bubblegum ice cream, yeah, that blue kind you get off the ice cream man. I didn't end up finishing it, maybe next time Chillin. read more

We loveee chillin'! I always get a matcha green tea frappe or iced. The small is actually really big for me so if you get a medium believe it will be more then plenty. I have to always get a macaron as well, they are SO delicious too! They also have little trinkets like masks, jewelry etc to buy on the side. The masks are good and hard to find elsewhere they have tons of colors and fun patterns/characters. They also have chips and snacks. Every employee I've encountered has been nothing but nice. Really bomb drinks and they have so many options. I love all the flavored teas and the boba/ lychee jelly!

Nice inside! A lot of drinks to pick from! I got the fruity pebble one, the cashier helped me decide lol. If I'm in the area again I'd definitely come back. I really love that the boba was warm still! The way it's supposed to be served it was warm and the right texture. They sell other cool stuff but I didn't get a good chance to look since I was sorta ina hurry. I did buy some macaroons! The chocolate one was good!! They also sell reusable straws which is a plus! read more

I come here for milk teas. The tea is pretty decent, and the boba is chewy (not super squishy.) I prefer a soft boba, but the one offered here is still satisfactory. There are other options for self-indulgence such as smoothies, slushies and ice-cream. I stick with my tried and true caramel milk tea or Hokkaido slushie. They do offer sugar-free Jasmine Green Milk Tea... it's very good, and I highly recommend if you're cutting sugars. The cashiers are very helpful and are willing to customize your order as needed. How long has it been since someone has listened to your demands and, with a smile, said, "I'm sure we can do that." If you're going to hang around the place there are some small claw machines up against the wall, a Jenga tower floating around somewhere and some board game I can't recall. There are also TVs with baseball games on... kinda nice to walk in and see the score after a long commute. As a local boba place, it's awesome to come in and hang out for a few minutes. Chillin' is like a local coffee shop, but with milk teas and boba. I never liked hanging out in coffee shops, but this place is alright. read more

I live in Westminster, OC so I'm surrounded by PLENTY of good boba places. I get boba around 2-3X a week. I decided to try chillin' one day since I was in the area and was soooo shocked on how good their boba is! I'm a huge fan of honey green milk tea and this place did not disappoint!! The drink was good and the boba was very sweet and chewy which I am shocked since it's in downtown Whittier. The place itself is big, but not much inside sitting. Staff are all usually very friendly! read more

I would probably go here everyday if I could. The way the boba taste in your mouth. I'm pretty sure all my friends like it
