We stopped by for a quick drink. Parking was relatively okay when we went. The establishment is in a closed off area for only pedestrians. The interior was pretty cool with mini arcade claw machines and merchandise for sale. Boba comes to uptown Whittier! I'm so glad for this establishment as I would hate to make the trek to Rowland Heights or Cerritos just to get a decent boba drink. If you can't find parking on Greenleaf, there's a public parking lot behind the buildings. We came here on a weekday afternoon and there are plenty of people here doing just that- chillin'! Televisions hung from walls. Board and card games like Cards Against Humanity and Never Have I Ever are available behind the counter. There are a lot of people studying, working on laptops or just hanging out. Ordered a passion fruit green tea which had a nice mix of sugary sweetness blended with the passion fruit sourness. Also had the Earl Grey macaron and a Pistaccio macaron which were both tasty and had a nice mixture of savory and sweetness. PRO TIP: Get a free 50 cent topping with a Yelp check in! Even though there was a line for drinks and plenty of people sitting at tables, the vibe was active and lively and there was enough space for our party to sit at an unoccupied table. The wait for our drinks wasn't too bad either. So if you're ever in the mood for boba drinks, this is definitely a place to visit! read more

They have games for you to borrow and play with friends. They have a couple of claw machines (for props?) though no one seems to show any particular interests in the prizes. Seems to be very popular amongst the young high schoolers! MENU We were in the area for dinner and stopped by due to convenience and great reviews. Unfortunately, we left super disappointed! Got the Royal Milk Tea which tasted like a regular Milk Tea and even with less sugar, it was just sugar milk in a cup! The French Vanilla Milk Tea (also with less sugar) was even sweeter - so sweet that it was difficult to drink! We asked if we could add more tea to balance out the sweetness only to find out that it's actually a water based drink aka no tea added. Okay, why is it even under the milk tea section and why is it also labeled a milk tea? They kindly switched out the drink to something basic. The Roasted Oolong Tea with the minimal amount of sugar was then just too watered down. By then, we just gave up. Tossed the drink and left. Also got the Earl Grey Macaron which we were unable to swallow. The flavoring is just wrong. SERVICE I acknowledge that their service is good. The cashier is friendly and tries to help. Cashier was cool, I got a free sample of the royal milk tea and it tasted pretty good! So I got that with boba and egg pudding. Extra toppings are 50 cents. It wasn't too crazy sweet which was good. Was cruising down Greenleaf with the wife when we spotted Chillin'. With quite a bit of people inside we knew we had to check it out. Parking is hard to come by in the area sometimes, but if you keep looking at the little streets around you are bound to find a spot. Restaurant: Well not really a restaurant, but its nice inside. Plenty of seating available on long tables. There are a few of the claw games to spend some cash on as well as one of those walls with Angel Wings painted on them for you take pictures with. Spacious, noisy and board games to play. Drinks: I went with a Honey Green Tea with Boba and the wife ordered a Passionfruit Green Tea. Both we def not too sweet (as most places make them), but were not anything over the top amazing. The boba itself is pretty rad with a nice chewy and honey flavor to it. Notes: We were bummed that there were not much snacks available (i.e. popcorn chicken, etc.), but maybe down the line it will get big enough to include some of those menu items. read more

My husband loves the ROYAL milk tea. Service is usually very quick after ordering. The large upgrade comes in those hella fat cups that don't always fit in a car's cupholder so be mindful of that. The shop itself is huge. They offer cafeteria style tables along with normal ones. They also provide board games for patrons. It is very spacious and clean. Perfect study and hangout spot. This is such a great, homey place for any one to just chill, hence the cafe is appropriately named. Rating: 4.5 TL;DR: Great place with fun things to do but might be difficult to find unlimited parking during the daytime. A nice date or hang out spot - maybe not the best study spot. This review is based on my experience on a Friday afternoon 6:00pm. I was looking for boba and a place to get laptop work done in the area and this place seemed like one of the newer, cleaner places. As soon I arrived, I looked at the seating arrangement. Lots of big tables from 4 seaters to 10-12 seaters. Each 4 seater tables had an outlet next to them (side of the foundation poles) - so charging for laptop check. (This place is also open until 11pm so score that a nearby cafe has good seating). However, if you're looking for a place where you can study and get work done, I would say this is more on the 3/5 level as the music and vibes might be very distracting. (Which isn't negative for them, just a different vibe). People definitely come here to chill, with coin games, board games, and loud music booming overhead. If you have great focus, sure, try the place out. But if not, I recommend some earplugs. The boba costs start from $3.85 (for a regular size - see my picture) which boasts a large regular and an extremely large tube for a large. I feel like you could share the large with a friend or your SO if desired. The Boba toppings are additional $0.50 (among many other toppings) but on your first check-in, you can get a topping for free! One big caveat is that all cash purchases must be at least $5.00. I didn't have any cash on me, so I had to walk to the nearby ATM to get some cash, which was a little bit troublesome, but I wanted boba and give this place a chance. The staff is nice and the drink I got (Royal Milk Tea) was slightly on the sweet and strongly brewed side, but nonetheless, I think it was decently made. If you don't have a super sweet tooth, I would recommend it with less sugar. But Royal Milk Tea - a stronger taste than the normal milk tea boba, but good enough. The -0.5 star comes from the limited parking but that is honestly not too dependent on the store, as parking is limited for most stores in Uptown Oldtown Whittier. Street parking is limited for 2 hours from the morning hours to 6pm, but unlimited after 6pm. If it was during the morning hours, I would hesitate before coming here unless I knew that I would be here for a maximum of 2 hours. Again, not really their fault that they don't have their own lot, but parking still factors in as part of their overall score. Definitely give this place a try! I was in Whittier visiting my parents and had a craving for boba. We planned on getting some in LA on the way home, but I did a search and saw that this place as very well reviewed. I told my wife, "it's well reviewed, but do people living in Whittier even have any idea what good boba tea is? Seems like a gamble." Well, just like when you gamble on a fart and end up shitting your pants, this gamble did not work out for me at all. I got the Royal Milk Tea with boba, and it was not good. The biggest problem is that most of the boba in my cup was pretty hard, and the remaining problem was that the liquid itself just didn't taste very good. I don't really know how to quantify it, but I'm going to quote Hitchhiker's Guide and say that what was in my cup was something that tasted "almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea."
