This is a decent boba place that's conveniently located close to my house. The vibe is so chill (pun intended) and the interior decor is amazing. They have a variety of drinks to choose from as well as foods and dessert. Our fave orders and the ones we def recommend are the following (in no particular order): 1.) Honeydew Milk Tea 2.) Taro Milk Tea 3.) Hokkaido Milk Tea 4.) Fish Balls 5.) Cajun Fries They have indoor and outdoor seatings at your disposal but they have amazing take out containers for your food and drinks. It was super busy on a Wednesday night. They didn't have green tea ice cream- that's what I went for, but it's ok, I ordered a mint n chip waffle cone instead. The Prince got a boba concoction with honey addition. We got to talking while waiting in a cute little area. Greenleaf had a street festival going on, actually closing down at about 830 pm. They called our number and gave us the drink- but like they were done with us. I had to ask about my ice cream. Very apologetic and the associate gave me a card for 20% off next time. Very unexpected surprise and glad that I was able to try this place out! It's located in the Greenleaf Promenade of Uptown Whittier. A good amount of street parking is available and I went little after lunch rush on a Monday afternoon. There were some people there, but the wait wasn't long whatsoever. Pretty spacious and not what I expected when I saw it from the outside. There are some benches inside, but most of the seating is patio seating outside. Lots of cute photo opportunities with the décor, painted walls, and neon lights. There's also some crane game machines inside as well. What I really liked about this place were all the extra things that you can buy on top of your drink and some snacks (they have bagged chips and Pocky), and sweets (macarons, regular and ice cream form). They have super cute single masks, along with gradient color sets. COVID IS STILL A THING, MASK UP PEOPLE! Some of the designs included Sanrio characters like Badtz-Maru, Hello Kitty, Cinnamaroll, Pom Pom Purin, and Pochcao with other cute character designs, including Kirby, Sailor Moon, and Poke'mon. Huge props to the cashier working who KNEW all the characters I named when I was rushing myself to choose these masks with other customers in line. In addition, they also have a little "gift store" wall with lots of cute plushies (boba plushies of all sizes, Sanrio and other cute animal/character key chains), earrings, necklaces, hair accessories, and much more. I got the: 1) Sea Salt Cream Thai Tea: - I got no sugar or ice adjustments for this drink and it turned out perfect. -Not overly sweet like some Thai tea that I've had before and the sea salt added the perfect amount of subtle saltiness after mixed in. -Solid Thai tea. 2) Set of 6 Macarons: -This was $10 for the set. May sound pricey, but for the quality of macaron and the flavors, it's better than a good chunk of other places that I've been to. -I got the green tea, salted caramel, earl grey, red velvet, rose, and vanilla. -The outer "shell" part of the macaron had the perfect texture. Very light and delicate crunch and the ganache was good too. All of these were a bit sweet, but as a little treat for yourself, it's good stuff. -My fav was the salted caramel! Another uptown Whittier classic. This is the perfect spot for hanging out with friends and having a relaxing time. They have board games available for usage and some claw machines. I have also tried doing homework here but I would not recommend that because it is a bit louder in here for a study environment. I really like the macarons and boba flavors here. read more

We decided to stop in after late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The place was jammin so the queue was sorta long. They do offer a self-purchase station so you don't have to wait in line. This tea shop is located in a nice location of uptown whittier. It is a trendy place that can be a great place to study or do some homework. I knew the tea in whittier was not going to be good, but this was still worse than my expectations. I ordered the hokkaido milk tea and it just tasted like powder mixed with water. My friends also got their regular milk tea and their strawberry milk, but no one ended up finishing their drinks. I patiently waited 20 minutes (even though there were only 2 other small groups in there) for my drinks. Finally, after everyone else got their orders, I asked about mine. My order ticket had never printed, even though I ordered at the counter. The employee also never checked, until I asked. April 2021 - Just a heads up, the menu right outside of the place has prices that said $3.95 or something but when we bought the drinks (regular size) they were all at least $4.20 each. Not a big deal but kind of misleading. Ordered the Matcha, Hokkaido, and Brown Sugar Milk Teas. The drinks were tasty but a bit too sweet for us. I feel like staff could've been more accommodating when it came to changes. Less than a minute after we ordered, we asked if we could upgrade all the drinks to a large size but they said it was too late they already started on the drinks.... I get it would be too late if the cup was sealed but the drinks weren't even ready until a bit later. We were also the only customers in there at the time so I found that to be an odd response.
